Dont get the insurance. It is a complete scam. They charge $30 for $5000 worth of coverage on a $2000 piece of equipment & it covers nothing of yours. Dolly almost completely ripped off front bumper of my daughters car & they told me the insurance wasn't for my vehicle it was for their car dolly. I would like to be contacted about this drop off. I did everything thru my phone and the guy that worked there had me showing up with something different and he didn't want me to leave the premise even though I had checked everything out thru my phone and put the keys in the drop box as requested. He had no idea what was going on and wouldn't really talk to me just kept looking at his phone trying to figure out what was going on. He was not inviting at all. Very poor experienceJerry C.

This facility practices social distancing and & requires masks.A customer (?) refused to wear a mask & said he was not getting vaccinated when asked by a client.. Even though I personally felt that the man was obnoxiously ignoring the safety of others, the employee politely and firmly had him wait outside. As customers, we felt that this company went above and beyond in trying to keep their customers safe! What can you do to improve for the next customer? Keep up the good work and do not apologize or back down in your efforts on behalf of your customers. There are lots of u-haul type places, and it's possible that they do not require masks. Go to this U-Haul location and stay safe! And thank you, U-Haul employees, for your continuing efforts to stop the spread! I needed to change drop off location. I called the number provided and was in hold for nearly 15 minutes. When I finally got a rep, I was told changing drop off location would "cost between $0 and $500." I asked for a specific amount so I could determine if it was acceptable and was told I could not be given a specific amount. As a result, I had to drive an extra 110 miles, running up the bill and making a 17 hour work day for myself. This is ridiculous and unnaceptable. I will not use Uhaul again - ever!Michael Y.

My reservation time was 9:30. I arrived at 9:10. I did not have a mask on and was told it was required. Although I have chronic bronchitis and am exempt from wearing a mask, I didn't want to divulge my medical history in front of other customers, so I told the man I didn't have a mask. He said that I would need one before he could help me. I asked, "If they are required, do you provide them?" He said, "no." I asked, "how am I supposed to pick up my truck?" He said, "You need to go find a mask." I had to drive home and get a mask. Had I not already made arrangements with others to have this uhaul, I wouldn't have returned. I will need to rent a truck several more times over the next 6 months, but I assure you it will be with someone else. What I found amusing, is that when I had the mask on, I was holding it away from my mouth because of my breathing issues yet he didn't have an issue with that, and when it came to signing my paperwork, he didn't hesitate to offer me his pen. I suggest he do some research on this virus. On another note = the floors were filthy. There were tiny pine cones on the floor and what looks like straw/hay, and it smelled horrible! I know Governor Cooper put the mask mandate in place, but this was the first time I was refused service. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a box of masks there for people like myself who don't wear them.NATASHA P.
