1. I was charged twice; once for $177.02 online 12/16/2024 at noon, AND 204.50 (adding gasoline) at return on 12/17/2024 on online at 5:30pm because of message "your late" I brought it back early; 29 hours instead of the 48 hours I paid for. I was told by online rep it did not matter when I picked up because both U-Haul dealers were closed for pickup and return. 2.a. I requested a third day, but was not added to final contract. 2.b. I picked up truck at noon 12/15/224 and then received a warning I went over scheduled for returning truck by noon the next day and would be charged extra after noon on 12/16/2024. ONE Day. I paid for two days. 3.I requested a two-wheeler and was not on the truck. I spoke to no one. Closed.
Debra Bvery friendly, good people. It was cold and the truck was started and warmed up when we arrived. Everything was cleaned and ready to go as ordered.
Doug SThe young lady I dealt with was fantastic. The old man I dealt with to pick up the truck not so good. He NEVER asked me if I wanted insurance just put it on there. What the hell is vehicle license recovery? Also WHY an environmental fee????????? You money hungry people disgust me. I live off social security and the amount I paid today really screwed me money wise. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE STUPID SHIT YOU CHARGE PEOPLE FOR BESIDES WE HAVE TO AKSO PUT GAS BACK IN VEHICLE. Putting gas in to replace what we use is understandable but my goodness I feel I got screwed without a kiss. I will NEVER USE ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR VEHICLES.
KIMBERLY KThe size truck that I wanted was not available. I received a bigger truck which worked out ok.
LAWRENCE WI only drove 4 miles and had to put 4 gallons of gas in the truck to get the gas back to where it was. I think the gas gage may not be accurate

cherie lWent to pick up the truck and was not sent the code to get the keys out of the lock box. Called and went through 4 different people to finally get someone to help with getting the keys. Spent over an hour on the phone to get the code. The app was having issues and wouldn't the me access what I needed to. Felt like the least person I talked to didn't believe me that I was the one who rented the truck. Not pleased with this part of the process. Would like someone to contact me about the situation.
CLIFTON SInternet speed at pick up location was very weak, and computer agent used was super slow. Took about an hour to get checked out!
Babette HPerson at location did not have a working trailer despite advertising that they did. Had to get a truck instead that was 3x the cost we wanted to spend. Terrible customer service

MICHELLE SThe booking of a trailer online was super easy and user-friendly. The trailer was clean and the price was reasonable. Returning the trailer was a short process as well. This was my first UHAUL experience & it was easy.
Erin BThe only issue was the process to do the transaction was all on the internet/phone, instead of off the location computer. The location should have its own wifi so that the person renting the equipment doesn't have to use their own provider, which required me to go to the door to connect.
Scott WWas charged for a full day when I returned the truck 3 hours late and then wasn't allowed to use the truck after being made to pay for a full day! I will never use uhaul again!

DELORES CLocation a little hard to find but waze got me there. The gentleman that works there was excellent.

dan bThis location was a long drive to pick up my trailer. Several closer locations, including the Benton Harbor Hub, had available 5x8 trailers that I believe they did not want to contract for a one way trip.

Douglas WDrop off rating is all based on VISIBILITY. I was scheduled to drop of at Petes Matathon in Niles. I said sure, should be no problem. BUT You can not see the building or equipment from the road...it is tucked behind trees and there is no road sign, nor address sign at the street. I know the community fairly well and spent 20 minutes driving around before finding it. Frustrating beyond belief. I was on my way back to Niles when I turned and looked back, and by the grace of God, I saw it. With proper markings & signage it will be a fine location. Until they get that, please tell people it is next time Wheels on Deals being the trees.

Denise SMade the reservation a week prior and had a confirmation number. When we called the original pick-up location to confirm, they had no vehicle AND didn't even have a record of our reservation. Received a call the morning of pick-up and told to go to another town to pick up the vehicle. That location had one vehicle promised to another customer and also had no record of our reservation. We were one major argument away from being stranded 800 miles from home with no truck. Very low quality.
Larry MNasty and dirty inside the truck, it didn't seem like it wanted to go and I felt that I got over charged for that truck.

dave mI reserved my uhaul a month before my scheduled move date. Had to travel 200 miles to get to the original location by train and when I arrived they told me there was no available truck because they were overbooked. Disappointed, they had to search for the closest available one which was 40 miles. This truck was available due luck because someone canceled. If this was not available, they wanted me to travel more than 50 miles. I hope that if you book in advance this does not happen. Moving is not easy, planning ahead is necessary but if you are not assured of your reservation how can you have peace of mind.

John FThe trucks were parked in a completely different lot than the store where it was to be picked up. They were also parked in large puddles of water that made it impossible to get into the vehicle without getting my shoes soaking wet. The entire point of the online check in was to not have to wait in line but still had to do that while the checked out a customer who did not have a reservation.

Tiffany Wdo not call this "location". Am i rating the physical "location" or the over-all service? it is a bit confusing. Service was great. Location a bit "tucked in" difficult to see...especially if there are no U-haul trucks there.
Lillian JWell I made our reservation online I already had insurance to cover . When I picked it up he went online an redid my order. He put everything down as coverage and it cost me 100 dollars more . I didn't need it or want it but needed the truck to move

John PNothing really. It's just located in a really old, run down building. However, the people there are all nice and helped me connect and disconnect the trailer and just generally prompt and helpful.
Tom Kthe guy told me I was all set and I didn't receive a receipt because of the original issues with not having a valid contract. he never told me I had to complete my return. o. the uhaul website to get a final receipt.
