The inside of the cab had trash in it. The windshield was quite dirty. One of the tires was low according to the monitor. The gas gauge was near a quarter of a tank. It was difficult to put in the same amount of gas. We were short in how much we put in. It's been my experience in the past that, as with rental cars, you receive the vehicle with a full tank, and you return it with a full tank. That's much easier to judge and maintain. I was charged an extra almost $50 due to this difficulty. I offered to put more gas in it to avoid the extra charges. He said that it was fine indicating to me that we had put enough gas in it to be sufficient. My past experiences with U-Haul have always been good. I was disappointed with my experience yesterday.

Make sure the gas amount inside of the truck is the same as the gas shown on the contract. My contract stated I had a half tank when I only had a quarter tank. Upon returning I was being asked to pay an extra 42 dollars for not leaving a half tank of gas but I had called customer service and let them know at the point of pickup

JESUS BThe employee of the gas station had no idea what to do. He was the only employee, I had to wait while he serviced all other store customers. He had no idea what to do, he wanted me to hook up the trailer. He didn't do a light check on the trailer. The right blinker on the trailer didn't work. When I returned the trailer he wanted me to unhook it. He couldn't get it unhooked, I had to help him. I don't understand how Uhaul can allow someone as unqualified as this to rent units.

Smith KIt's a gas station with a small section for uhaul vehicles. It was a little difficult backing the car hauler into the spot but I managed. The staff at that location was helpful.
