I got ripped off, I paid $59 for my estimate. Picked the truck up at 730p. Paid for 2 hours. Dropped it back off by 8:50p. Dropped it off to the guy that gave me the rental. I only went 11 miles and the gas WAS NOT under a quarter tank. The dial barely moved. I did not sign the contract stating if it went lower I'd get charged an extra $30 and I look back on the receipt and it's not my signature. It was forged with just a line. I contacted my credit card company about disputing the charge. I agreed to pay $59 for a 1.5 hour rental. Not an additional $88 for another day use and gas fee when I delivered the truck back the same nightLEONARDO I.
I was double charged for safe move insurance. Was supposed to be $14.00. I was charged $28.00. They also claimed I did not fill the tank back up to 1/4 as I received it. In fact, I put $20 in which brought the fuel up to 3/8 of a tank. The location charged me an additional $48 for fuel and $14 for insuranceJ C.
We were supposed to have furniture pads, but the uhaul didn't come with any. The man helping us also didn't know how to work the pick up process and had to call a manager off site to walk him through each step. The process took a lot longer than it should have and the missing equipment was a huge letdown, especially since as far as I know I wasn't refunded for it.Kali P.

The individual that hooked up the trailer to my vehicle told me the lights all worked. I could tell by his look that I didn't think they were working. After he departed I checked myself and the (no) lights were not working. They tried to troubleshoot the issue but couldn't resolve it. I drove to another location and they found out that the fuse under my dash was not installed at the factory for a trailer. What would've happened if I'd driven off with no running lights etcâ€¦?Dean L.
Reserved online to make sure had a truck. Had to register account put in card upload license etc. Said estimated bill was $93 based on up to 30miles. When I got there it was like I never reserved. Guy had to do from scratch with new card. Never explained rate or provided any explanation just gave keys and emailed contract.Thomas C.

I had a 9am appointment and when I arrived, I was told The UHaul representative wasn't in that day but they would call him in. He then came in but I waited a long time for him to show and he basically acted like I had no reservation delaying my start time even more and I finally got out of there about 45 minutes late. When I returned the van, he asked the normal questions and wrote down the mileage and said he would email my my receipt. The receipt did not arrive until the next day and found out I was charged for extra mileage I did not do. I estimated I would drive about 25 miles but was charged for 36 though I drove 23. Unfortunately, I do not have proof nor could I contest it since my paperwork wasn't sent to me until the next day and I wasn't told my mileage, as per usual, and he asked me to stand at the desk while he inspected. Definitely a different experience from other times I had rented, include a few days before and a few weeks before that.WILLIAM L.
