Better customer service and showing that you are not just after money. Ask and provide assistance to customers and ensure proper hookup and safety measures are followed.

joel mWhile this location handled things generally well, and the truck was clean and well-maintained, my experience with U-haul's self-checkin process was VERY negative. As a result, I will NEVER rent from U-haul again if I am forced to go through the online self-checkin process.

Mattew JWell 10 minutes after making a reservation my pick up location was changed. Not a big deal 10 miles away compared 2 miles away with the original location. At pick up i was told the truck had to be returned to this location but i booked a one way, tried to get a truck from another location but nothing available so I had to take it or not move. Instead of 60 miles it was 140 miles, so uhaul got me this time!

Connie WWhether it was this dealer or U-Haul who deducted over $600 from our debit account I do not know, but this was only for a 6 x12 trailer. When I went to pick up th ed trailer I was told that there would be a deposit of $256 +/-; that it would only be a hold on our funds, and not taken out of our checking account, which wasn't the case at all. It was in fact taken out of our account. The rental for the trailer was supposed to be only $124. Initially, $124 was deducted from our account; however, the local U-Haul dealer suggested that I return the trailer to their place instead of me renting for a one-way trip, and that someone else needed that trailer in the next few days; that I might save some money by returning it to them instead of dropping it off at another Uhaul dealer near where I was moving to, so I agreed to return it to him. I was not informed that additional funds would be deducted from our checking account. After pulling the trailer for 140 miles, I realized that I didn't want to return it to where I had picked it up because of the additional fuel expense and not being able to use my truck for anything else until I returned it to where I had picked the trailer up, so I called them back and told them that it was too much extra gas expense to return it to them, and that I needed to drop it off at a U-Haul dealer that was near where I was moving to. I was assured by the lady at Pro Outdoor Equipment that I wouldn't be charged any additional funds. We expect a prompt return of the money that U-Haul owes us. This has been a very bad experience for my wife and I. Last month I rented a 20' truck from a another Uhaul dealer to move some household items to our house, and there was no problem at all; no security deposit or anything else, unlike this time. Impeccable Lawns, where I dropped the Uhaul trailer off, was very nice though, so I must compliment them, unlike the other dealer.
Glenn RLocation is good, store is fine and equipment was in good shape. The mobile app is frustrating/unusable. To check the truck back in, we tried on two phones with the mobile app and could not successfully take a photo of the odometer. Then we went to the website in the web browser, and it finally actually accepted the photos. It seems like the mobile app was just not actually saving the photos, but was not giving us any indication of what was wrong. I would not recommend dropping off/picking up outside business hours with the mobile app.

Joseph PI travelled 18.5 miles in total and I was charged for the 25 miles that the cashier had initially entered. I called back and asked for a refund and was told that I had travelled the exact 25 miles, which I know is incorrect.

Jay DStraps were t long enough to go over wheels and one was not serviceable anyways I had to go to a hardware store and buy straps for myself to secure the vehicle to the trailer. Was charged for an extra day when I didn't return on a holiday when they were closed.
Joel FWhile the location personnel were great, the overall uhaul system was lacking severely. A 2 hour wait time on the phone was fairly consistent, equipment was not where it was supposed to be, and pretty sure I got over charged.
