When someone reserves a truck online, the truck they reserve should be guarenteed to them at the location they chose or not allow the truck to be chosen. Should not get a call a couple days after reserving it and told now you have to take a smaller truck or go 30 miles out of my way each way for pickup and drop off... Went should I have to pay the extra mileage when it's not my fault uhaul allowed me to reserve the larger truck online.

Don't suggest mobile pick up is more efficient. Longer than normal process and NO response to request for assistance during process. I won't use it again and will advise anyone not to use.

I highly recommend the location. However, I will never suggest uhaul. I've rented 3 times in the past 6 months. Each and every time the mobile pickup option has not worked at all. I had to call uhaul customer support the first time, got into the truck after a 35 minute hold and 15 minute phone call. Serving and third times, thankful the location was open and Tom c could cancel my online reservation and create a new reservation in house. Penske will be my next truck rental. The cost per mile is also astronomical.... the federal government doesn't even charge per mile the outlandish cost uhaul does.

Everything was ok except there's no AC (air condition). When we first got the truck from the rental place the AC was working then next thing you know it's just quit working and couldn't figure it out why. So we're just kind of disappointed that there's no AC on it. I was trying to call the place but it's closed already that day. driv

Not having the truck on Friday 08/07/20 as planned really messed up our plans as we hired people for coming to load the truck and also to unload the truck in MD. You have to promise when the truck is scheduled ... it was very stressful! And we were very disappointed again with -UHaul

The U-Haul vehicle was clean and seemed to have been working well, I was very careful with it while driving and on my way back after unloading the check engine light came on and the engine started rubbing very loud and was acting really funny. Then when I was putting gas in it I put $15 in at first and then checked to see if I put enough in and the gas gauge did not go up at all so I put another $10 in and then it shot up way past the amount that I had to put in it. Overall the experience was not terrible, I got done what I needed to get done, but I was just nervous that the thing was going to break down on the way back. The people that work at this U-Haul location were very nice though.

Contract was emailed to me but not fully explained at pick up. Service fee and 50% mark up on gas at return would have been nice to know from pick up location in person and verbally explained. It cost me $75 more to have return location fill up tank.

Broke my steering wheel. Told me it needed to be tied off because it didn't lock. Went to Uhaul in Ohio and was told that was incorrect.

Horrible experience! Staff was rude and unprofessional. The after hours return did not work because UHAUL's GPS system was down and I had a miscellaneous extra charge on my account that had to be disputed. Staff couldn't find my rental agreement and did not want to investigate my question.

The owner of the store ... was helping & understanding .... customer service was awesome.. Experience of renting uhaul was excellent ... clean ...less time consuming .....simple & easy. I had to extend for couple days more and it was done without any hassle. Thank you I will come back here when ever i need the uhaul again.

I was quoted $.49 a mile for a local use van but upon receipt of ending balance I was charged $.59 a mile. Not sure how it went up $.10 a mile without me knowing or having been told. I also opted out of the extra insurance but was also charged for that. Making my bill almost an extra $20 does not make me very happy

Fire the workers at that location, very rude. The trailer I got had snow in it (which I cleaned out) then when I arrived in FL and unloaded my belongings they were all moist, and road dirt and water had gotten into and around the door onto my stuff.. basically a very bad experience with the uhaul product and the place I got it from.

This is not the location I had picked for pick up. In fact this location is an hour from my preferred pick up location. I was renting an auto trailer for a car that does not run and the preferred pick location was the same city in which my car was. So instead had to have a family member drive an hour away to get the trailer and an hour back to the car. U-Haul refuses to help get the trailer closer even though they let me reserve it at the location I preferred with no notice of it not being available. Very disappointed, especially for the price just to rent an auto trailer for a day.

I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone. This location is fine and the staff was great. But U-Haul in general is expansive and tries to get money from you left and right. I used a U-Haul for about 8 hours and was charged $150. I am not pleased. When I rented a U-Haul in the past and took it hours away, it did not cost me nearly that much. What a rip off. Next time I'll make a few trips with my pickup and save money. Ridiculous.

1. The waiting area could use some updating or even a good cleaning. 2. Take the smoking outside. 3. Be more attentive to customers coming in, the bells aren't enough. 4. Explain the policies, procedures, and charges to the customer. Positive- Securing a truck was quick and convenient. Establishment is across from a gas station.

The employee at this location on 9/28/19 was very rude and unprofessional. I made a reservation over the phone 2 weeks prior to the date. When I arrived to pick up my truck he told me that I didn't have a reservation, which I knew was untrue. After speaking with Amy from the reservation/traffic department she confirmed that I did indeed have a reservation but the renters prior to me never returned the truck and there were no trucks available for me to rent. It was frustrating because no one called me prior to my arrival to let me know. After I told the man at the store what Amy said, he continued to tell me that I didn't have a reservation even though it was clear that he was not telling the truth. He offered no resolution to the problem. Not even an apology. Instead, he apologized to the white woman behind me for her delay. I felt that he was very rude and dismissive towards me because I am black. Thank God, Amy was able to book a different truck at another location that was 15 miles away, which was inconvenient because i lived less than a mile from the Painted Post location. I had a deadline to move and had friends travel 2 hours to help me so I had no choice but to travel 15 miles to get another truck. I understand that it was not U-hauls fault that the customer prior to me didn't return the truck but the situation should have been handled differently. To blatantly lie to a customer is unprofessional. After he was confronted with the truth he continued to lie and be dismissive instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and offering any type of resolution. If it wasn't for Amy and Michael at the new location I would never do business with this company again! I hope that something is done about the horrible customer service at the Painted Post u-haul location.

We ended up going here as the UHaul on Corning Rd. in Horseheads NY did not have the trailer we ordered. I ordered ahead a month so there was no reason for the mess up. The girl in the office was rude and I won't go there again. The man in Painted Post was good.
