Had to readjust trailer chain as it wasn't attached correctly, and chain was dragging on road and lots of bumping and rocking until it was adjusted. Once properly adjusted the trailer worked wonderfully during an almost 6,000 trip across country.VALERIE B.

Took over 30 minutes to get the truck cause the cashier had to keep helping people checkout in the gas station. When I finally got the truck it was dirty, the mileage was wrong and the tank was not full. When I informed the employee she told me take a picture and send it on the link Uhaul sent me and I wouldn't be charged for the mileage. When I returned the truck it was the same employee and she told me everything was fixed . She wouldn't close out my contract though cause she couldn't leave the gas station but ensured me I wouldn't be charged for the extra mileage . I than get my contract 4 hours later and I'm charged for the mileage I didn't not put on the truck. I also returned the truck full of gas when it was only 3/4 full when I rented the truck. After the experience I will never rent from Uhaul again!JOSEPH V.

I tried to login online, pay in advance, and sign in for pick up before arriving. Still took about 1 hour to get my 6x12' U-Haul. The service person had to delete me and then have me reapply for the rental. I was charged twice some how?( just got refunded for 1 charge). Finally got my U-Haul trip finished and tried to drop it off that night. My app/ account had no record of me having a U-Haul, thus I could not drop it off. The next morning I spent 1 hour on the phone with customer service to "sort it out and get a refund for 1 of the charges". They finally gave me a drop off location In the middle of no where. A small gas station about 10 miles outside of town, when they were better and closer options. When I arrived at the drop off location they asked me if I was at the wrong location. They were not expecting a drop off. After about 20 minutes of confusion and their computer software not working they told me its fine and I can go. I did finally get an email saying the return was completed. I'm not sure where the problems came from or why it was so difficult, as every person I talked to seemed to have no idea what was going on. The people I worked with were pretty decent for the most part, maybe the software/ website for U-Haul is obsolete. Either way, when loading several thousand pounds of metal tools in and out of a trailer by my self was the easiest part of the U-Haul experience, some thing is seriously wrong with- U-Haul.JUSTIN SAMUEL K.

The guy I left the truck with was rude. The truck was dirty, there was trash left in it from the last mover. I was quoted one price and was overcharged. I was charged for 71 miles but only drove it 44 miles. I took a picture of the miles and gas gages, so I know how far I went. I also turned it in 30 min earlier than I thought I would need it. I will never use this store again. The last time I rented a truck and used it 7 hours, drove it 75 or 80 miles and I only paid $89.00. The truck was clean and I was very happy. Friendly folks but they didn't know much about how to help me get my date corrected. I intended to drop off at opening time on 12/11 and did so. For some reason my rental was through the 12th. Probably my fault not catching that in the reservation but didn't want to rent through the 12th. I returned on time but wanted to see about getting a credit for the day not used since my rental showed through the 12th. No one could help and I have not had a response even though requested on the morning of the 11th. Still waiting to hear back...Johnathon H.

Too confusing to mix a Chevron Gas Station selling gas, an AM-PM Mini-Mart and also selling U-Haul Rental Trucks. The sells associate was nice and professional, but I felt that his attention was too divided to all the many other tasks of running a Chevron gas station and an AM-PM Mini-Mart.Brooke A.
Cab was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. An air freshener was hung in the cab which made it smell like smoked potpourri. They for some reason had a difficult time send me a text message to do my walk around and confirm starting condition, mileage and gas. They would only send that via email which did not contain pics and link as outlined in the email. Said I would have to solve it on my own contacting U-haul I took pics with my phone to document starting status. Not so friendly. It seemed that me questioning how we could resolve this problem was an inconvenience to them.RYAN H.

The truck I rented had a hole in the roof in a hard to notice location next to the light and tucked away above sheet metal framing. The hole was approx. 2in in length and allowed rain to enter the truck and soak into furniture. Recommend a more thorough inspection of the trucks to verify no further holes.Richard M.

Customer service personnel at this location were very friendly and helpful. The truck was clean in the back cargo area, but the cup holders and dash in the cab were filthy. The truck ran very well and there were no mechanical issues.Daniel K.

Got there at ten of pickup. Person behind desk said it wod be a bit while U-haul agent was outside moving trucks. We waited another 15 minutes while the u-haul agent took his time moving trucks to other spots on lot. When I got truck home had to wash out the cup holders and slots for holding things. The online reservation system is not customer/user friendly what so ever. I had made a reservation and turns out I was able to do so when there was no equipment even available. I understand how this works but it is not reliable for your customers who are in need of this equipment for important situations such as moving. It took me to personally call twice and talk to 2 managers to ensure I had equipment for my move. I was told I would receive a call and never did. This was 2 days prior to my move day and I had to travel 1 hour and 30 minutes total of 3 hours to get my equipment the day of my move. I would just suggest some changed be made so your customers are not having to do all the work. I never had too much issues with Uhaul but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Sadly I will not be returning as a customer in the future.Kandise S.

I had my reservation at a different location (Port Townsend, WA). I did not find out about having to drive for an hour to pick-up the trailer until I got to the Port Townsend location. The Staff at the Port Townsend location were NOT very helpful. I had to ask them to call the Poulsbo branch and verify the trailer, I asked about someone bring the trailer up to Port Townsend and the guy actually laughed and said "we don't do that". Didn't even say "sorry". After that, they just ignored me and moved on to someone else. I called the head office on Friday (8/21) afternoon and filed a complaint. The head office was at least nice and friendly. As of today (8/25) I have not heard anymore about the complaint filed.Michael K.

Unfortunately I scheduled for a 17ft truck, but then was given a 20ft truck which would have been fine. The day before pick up I was told the 20ft truck would not be available and was offered a 26ft truck, but that size is too big for the residential area I was moving to. So the only other option was a 10ft truck. The 10 ft truck meant that I had to take many more trips and ended up getting screwed by mileage. I ended up paying $100 more than what I was originally quoted because I had to take more trips thank if I had gotten the truck I was supposed to.Jason B.
