There seem to be changes in the drop off process and it was a little confusing when in the past it was a very simple drop off process not having to use the app to complete forms. There was confusion in the pricing because of this, never had that issue before.KENNETH F.

Person who called me from the PostMart was rude, insulted me and then hung up on me. While the app is very convenient and useful because most of the U-Haul locations are non-related businesses and no one is available to assist you when you arrive, it needs to be much clearer as to what else is required when you are advised to check in online. I was contacted via phone 4 times on my last rental, when they wanted to know if I was going to pick up my trailer, which I did, 30 minutes prior. I was then called by another U-Haul regional corporate somebody who then told me that I don't have a contract. I advised that I have an account on file, I completed the on line check in, provided a credit card AND photos of my Drivers License, front and back. At which point, he told me that I needed to sign a contract and that they have called in the trailer as STOLEN. STOLEN. They have my credit card and drivers license and an online agreement and they threaten me with it being stolen? I told them that if that was the case then I probably should pull over, (I was 2 hours from home by that time) and just drop off the trailer as I didn't want to get arrested!. At that point, he lightened his threats and said that the owner of the shop where I picked up the trailer would contact me. Ok. I Hung up. A few hours later, I was rudely called by a man who said that I intentionally stole the trailer and left without signing a contract. I advised him of the same I described earlier here, and also that his door in the back of his strip mall store was locked AND there's a sign that clearly says, check in online and take your rental. He yelled something about demanding that I not argue with him. I advised him I was in Ohio picking up a car. It was a car trailer I rented and would be returning around 6. He then said something about them being closed by 6 and I said it's NEVER been a problem for me to drop the trailer in the lot because the trailers NEVER are locked. So it would be easy and I would check out online as well. It was at that point he said something else rude to me and hung up on me without saying anything else. I received an email with the contract about an hour later saying that all was fine. Get your stuff together U-Haul. This could be so easy considering that your agents are selling appliances or packing boxes and are not staffing the rental lot. If you need to get a contract physically signed, SAY THAT on the online form you ask everyone to complete AND put it on the damn sign at the lot. NOTHING says to come in and sign another agreement after you agreed to one online. Totally unnecessary. Could have been a very good experience, because I love the car haulers, they are terrific for trailering cars. But I don't need someone threatening me for something I didn't do wrong, aside from the fact that they would report it stolen. I can say one thing. Good thing someone figured out this was a bad idea. It's also a BAD for customer relationships because its something that makes no sense. I'm a return and honest customer. I wasn't treated like one.David M.

Dropoff process after hours was UNUSABLE! The website wouldn't use my location services to verify I had dropped it off at the correct address. So I switched browsers and the location verification worked, but when I had to take a picture to show where I left it (with the other trailers, duh), the camera wouldn't load so I had to borrow my friends phone to use the shitty website. And the buttons you have to click through that show you how to unhook the trailer weren't helpful because I had already unhooked the trailer. Fix your website U-Haul. 1/10 experience for that reason.BRIANNA W.

The pickup process was atrocious. The link to pick up the truck after hours did not show up until after I changed the pickup time to be later that same evening. I tried this out of depression after calling customer service and waiting for an agent for over 30 minutes. I am hoping U-Haul can fix the glitches in their after hour pickup process.Robert V.

After having my reservation canceled and rerouted 3 times, including at least one "guaranteed " reservation, I was quite frustrated. How can you rerouted someone to a facility 15 miles away, especially after accepting their reservation? That means an automatic $30 increase to the rental there and back. It's 2021, your reservation system should know when a truck is at a specific location. Come on UHAUL, you can do better.JAY S.
I could not take a picture of my license or the trailer when returning it. I have not had this issue with any other application. Luckily someone else was returning a pickup and let me use his phone.GENE S.

Rental van was clean and in good shape, had no issues with the van or location. The U-haul app was a pain though; every time the app required a photo be taken, it would forget all the steps I'd completed in my checkin/checkout and start over from the beginning. For both checkin and checkout it took 4-5 attempts to finally get it to work.Christina P.

Notify customer that the self pick up and drop off will take about 10-15 minutes. I wasn't expecting it and I had a Uber waiting for me but besides that I would Rent from U-Haul anytime I need in the future. Great prices friendly service and convenient pick up and drop off locations.Maria F.

Moving took longer than I expected. But WOW! My bill was originally $135.. jumped to $199.. and just today.. they added an additional $59.70 with no explanation. The app on my phone worked perfectly this time. The last 2 times I have used the app it did not function properly. There were still issues when it asked if the vehicle was clean. I said no and tried to take a picture. The app would not allow. The truck floors, doors, steering wheel and dash board were dirty and not clean.Stephen J.
