Very nice and easy
NICKALOUS YEquipment was ok, but it wasn't clean at all upon pickup. Great experience with the staff. The lady that closed the account upon drop off was super nice, respectful and very helpful along the whole process.

STEPHEN TThe whole UHAUL experience was a nightmare. I booked a 15' truck to pick up in Cobourg for 8:00 am. Needed 8:00 am as I had secured 4 men to help me with the move I did't receive a call before 5pm - like the reservation said. So I called at 5:30 to confirm my reservation and pick up for the 8:00 am. Low and behold I found out that I'm getting 20' truck, pick up in Port Hope, not Cobourg - 20 minutes away and also 11:00 am. 3 hours difference where I had to pay people. The Port Hope location, the ladies were wonderful. BUT YOUR SYSTEM IS AWFUL! I WOULD NEVER BOOK UHAUL AGAIN!

Joanne WThe online app process was not functional. This led to us waiting in the parking lot for 2 hours. We had to call customer service 4 times, and had to email in our pictures. This needs to be a more seamless process for consumers. If I'm paying $270 for a rental plus gas, hire attendants to finalize paperwork. Next time I'll go to an official location.

Carrie HU-Haul is a huge rental company. The company as a whole should have the ability to screen all of the franchises. Making sure that the vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced. Also give the U-Haul vendor a timeline to have the problems addressed. Everything is about to e rating system. This is what I would recommend if I worked for U-Haul.
CHARLTON MThere was one person running a gas station, donut shop, pizza place and the U-Haul location. It took me an hour just to get the truck. It was covered in snow, there were no straps available to tie down cargo and the gas tank was nearly empty. How is a renter meant to know how much gas to put in if they don't pick it up full to begin with? Unnecessarily stressful and disappointing. Employee was apologetic, not his fault, but one person cannot be given four businesses to run and successfully manage to provide the necessary customer support needed to rent a vehicle. Ownership isn't staffing satisfactorily.

Nicole NThere was a drink that had been spilt around the cup holder but it really didn't bother me. I just don't want it blamed on me. I did take pictures of the vehicle before and after I used it.
craig wThe cashier was very busy - no additional staff to help out. It took a long time to return the truck. You need better instructions on how to refill the gas before dropping the vehicle off.
