I was completely overcharged! U-haul's Accountability is a complete failure the more automated they go the worst it is. It's a knife in the back of u-haul and they are failing to recognize that..... hold times on the phone are horrendous to say the least and it's all with efforts to save a dollar...BAD IDEA....I know business and the employees are very important...Timothy W.
The customer rep for uhaul at this location was actually leaving for the day when I was going to drop off the truck, she came back in the store and off the clock i assumed helped me. great employee to have she should get a raise. i dropped the truck off on 10-24-2021.ROBERT M.
Everything was great except the woman behind the counter help me at 20 minutes when I got there 15 minutes early because she wanted to do everything on the computer when I did everything online so I didn't have to come in contact with a person. Truck was great but the first customer service agent I talked to had no idea what she was doing. She said I could pay for the truck online, I called back to figure out how to do that cause I could not find it online and was told we actually can NOT pay for the truck online. When my dad went to pay, the place does not have a chip reader therfore my dad had to put it on his card.Gary G.

The equipment was good, very clean box, no issues. The biggest issue is the time to rent and to return. Staff was good, but computer issues. It took forever to complete the computer portion of the rental. Per staff, not unusual, many customers have complained.DON B.
your technology was very impressive for check out and contact. confirming the damage and the milage and gas was very cool. The price of the rental was absolutely insane. $2300 for a rental to Atlanta. I was desperate so I had to do it but no matter how good your technology I would not rent at that price in the future.KENNETH A.
My problem wasn't totally with this location. I had rented a trailer from the Forest Hills location in Rockford. When I arrived they mentioned that the trailer I reserved was not available and that it was now in Poplar Grove, thirteen miles away. Both customer service people at both locations were cold, and unapologetic. I had pre-registered, however, when I got to the location, the software was not working and I had to reenter all my information. The lady Glenda at the Poplar Grove location was a real crab and very unfriendly. Very bad all around experience.BRIAN V.

A few problems with the system when returning the truck. It took 35 minutes to process. No fault of the location or staff. Just an IT problem They did an amazing job. Couldn't be happier with Laura and Amanda who kept calm and did a fantastic job. Will definitely return.MIKE G.
Reserved a truck at a location 2 minutes from my house with a week notice. Day before I pick it up, I am notified I have to pick it up at a different location further from my house.Jarrett L.
Have all the equipment at the location that one reserve's when make ng reservations online to ease the process this is the second time I reserved a truck and a appliances dolly and the appliances dolly was not available at the location .other than that I had a pleasant experience with this location..SCOTT W.
Inspect and maintain vehicles when they get returned! I had to waste my time and unload over 4 dozen moving blankets out of the teuck before taking it. Also when I got the truck to my home to load it up the Low oil light came and I had to again waste my time and money to go buy oil to put in the truck, it was over 3 quarts low!!! Uhaul really needs to weed out all there old vehicles. I made a 700 mile trip in a truck that had no cruise control and shook bad the whole way, the mirrors shook so bad I couldn't even make out what was behind me making this very unsafe. I will never use Uhaul again. Yes it was the cheapest out of all of them, but when they let people take the oldest vehicle in the fleet for a cross country move instead of letting them take the newer model that was empty and I'm sure full of oil thays not good customer service.James W.

Went to this location because the place in Woodstock, IL where I was to get my truck was closed. Had to drive 30 minutes to Snyders. Put me two hours behind schedule. Snyders is a Pharmacy. The clerk who handled my transaction was new to the process and slow.Joseph W.

Your customer service center sucks. I set up a reservation that was moved 30 mins away while I was in the store trying to do my pick up. Overall I will never use your service or recommend U haul to another living person. The person. I spoke to on the phone was rude and uncaring. Fortunately the person at the store that rents U haul that has 100% nothing to your company was amazing, thoughtful and kind. Your company is horrible and my family and anyone I can stop from using your service I will try my hardest.Patricia V.

Should probably include what neighborhood means.... not everyone uses uhaul very often, thought you could drop it back off anywhere. Had to spend an extra $70 just to bring it back to that location. Very bsRodney T.

Teach them how to read a gas gauge. And if you are having people fill by the eighth of tanks make sure the gauge has that reading on it. Overall experience was horrible took way to long to rent the truck and get going.Timothy D.

The location itself was fine. The pharmacy staff were polite, but they were unaware of my reservation. In addition we paid for 24 pads, they had only 12 plus one left in the truck. Aside from the location my experience was not one for recommendation. I rented a truck for 24hrs, at least that's the option I picked online. I knew very well that we would load Friday evening and Saturday morning. I knew also that we would transport and unload Saturday mid and late morning which would put the return back somewhere on Saturday afternoon. Therefore, I chose the 24hr option on the form when creating the reservation. I did not however double check the confirmation email to see that in fact an 8hr reservation had been created. Then at 2AM I receive a text saying just that. I then checked email and saw that the reservation was in fact for 8hr, which was ridiculous in reality since my best guess had the return occurring Saturday afternoon. So I adjusted our alarm for 6AM and fell back to sleep. We then awoke early, woke our children up and worked as fast as possible to return the truck before three 8hr periods had past. In the end I paid for everything twice, including 24 pads of which only 13 were provided. I simply cannot afford the outlandish charge for my rental and cannot understand why I would be penalized for choosing Uhaul. This whole mess ruined the experience of moving my daughter into her first apartment and I feel robbed of the good experience that could have been if we weren't forced to rush due to an error on the reservation time. So depressing!Phillip H.
My complaint is not with the location. I booked my truck online and requested a utility dolly and when I went to pick up my truck they did not have the dolly. When booking online they are not updated any equipment available at the location and that needs to get corrected because otherwise the location gets the brunt of the discretion which is not fair. I don't blame them but I am sure there are other people that will, I know it is the online situation that is not clear as to what each location has. That needs to get corrected.Tami S.

I was not made aware that my location for pick up had changed. It was a major inconvenience. I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way because uhaul did not contact me to let me know my pickup location changed. Also dropping off the uhaul was unnecessary too. The woman taking care of the drop off had me wait for over 15 minutes to ring up other customers after I was already in line. Overall I am not a very satisfied customer.Brooke W.

This was the best experience with renting a truck we have ever had. The truck was in immaculate condition. Available on time, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this location. The only item I would suggest, the truck had 1/4 tank of gas....I believe it should be full when received and full when returned.Karol F.

The clerk who helped me Renee she seemed rude and seemed as if she didn't want to deal with checking the truck back in. When I attempted to pay rest of balance off with my card she said" I already charged the card on file I guess I should've asked oh well.â€ I'am new to the this town and I'll never go to this location.Jessica O.
