Cheaper, more reasonable Uhaul prices.

this was a nightmare the place was a fried and beer place they. the led me thru thr back and i stood in the hot kitchen next to the fryer. the entire place smelled of dead fish. and they were doing crawfish picking in the back. the floor was filthy and wet the gentleman ? that tried to get thru uhaul paper work did not have a clue. had to call boss. now going on 2 hours waiting. no air in this disaster. the walls were dirry and i was told to stand there in there back kitchen were they were cooking. about150 degrees. i threw up outside the place was so filthy. to begin with i wanted to. pick up a truck in Lake -Charles LA. they sent me to a different town. was the closest i was told. 45 minutes past Lake Charles. to. 7710 hayes. we found out. Hayes was a town way out in nowhere thos was a dive bar with smelly walls and drunks. i have never been so upset i have done business with uhaul some 40 years and i have been treated with some dignity but this place. Boil and go. in country town 30 minutes off the. freeway. there wasnt even 1 red light there it was nowhere. this was sicking amd before it was over he teied to charge me 150 dollars than my contract that i had agreed upon. i had to talk. standing on the grimy floor. to 3. uhaul people and he had to be taught how to rent a truck right there. i finally got the correct charge and keys to the truck. 3hours and 15 minutes later. he never had one thing about uhaul. definitely no bixes tape or anything other than this bar. the man was drinking beer outside when i first had to look for someone to help. we sat parked in the grass. no parking except this land. this was absolutely horrible. i was 4hours behind my schedule and had to enter this bar and beer and filth after 45 minutes out of Lake Charles. i was humiliating. i got sick it was so nasty and smelled and it was not safe or clean in the back kitchen i stood in. filth. wet grimy floors drunks screaming out front and a man who could not take down my license information correctly. this made me so upset and late and it was unbelievable. it ruint my entire time there trying to calm down and get over that experience. i would like to take someone from uhaul. srive them out to this bar and lead them into a smelling,dirty grimey hot back kitchen. it didnt not have a door to enter it was terribke. ruining my time. i was taking care of my mothers estate. she died last year and this was already one of the hardest things ever and i was so nervous and sick. i idid not get the estate in order i was so amazed that uhaul would ever send a woman out in the middle of nowhere to hunt down some guy in the bar drinking,and go thru the doorless back rooms. were there was dirty dishes puled high. frying food and so dirty i will not everbbe back there again. let uhaul take a tour ans see what i went thru forover 3 hours tryiing to getvthe one truck they had. amazing. i am still in shock uhaul had sent me there d

This is a perfect u haul location Others have been rude, do not care, act like they are bothered with request This location went out of their way to make me confident with rental order and return will do business every time here and recommend to company employees

Make sure all the trailer lights are operating correctly. I had to replace the trailer lighting connector while on the road.

Driving over 40 miles to get the item you would like to rent is painful. I'm not sure how you fix this but upon finding that out I almost didn't rent from uhaul.
