The only reason why I dinged this location is that it was never clear when renting that to return equipment after hours incurs a $20 up change. Other than that, a great facility, staff and convenience. The after hours return is very helpful, just need to be better on the communication.Clayton C.

Windows were dirty with a giant piece of debris on the inside that was in my vision. Big mis communication on what time the gate â€œPermanently â€œcloses for the night. I was locked out, and had to find a friends house to sleep at nearby, and I had to purchase another rental day. First time renting here. The gate permanently locking down for the evening is kind of a big deal to mention and to make extra clear to new renters. Especially if the customer asks for a gate code to get in after hours!â€¦ I called the 24 hour emergency service in which the gentleman on the other side was extremely rude and showing signs of aggression that I woke him up at 1030 at night. The aggressive nature was hostile to say the least. I wish this experience was better. It wasn't pleasant. I even went to an extent of videotaping the whole truck after I dropped it off the next day since I was now questioning the honesty and integrity of this company.Kyle M.

Pick-up/return process via the app was STUPID and unintuitive. Rental location was in a gated community, and at first, the app wouldn't let me start the checkin process (which was apparently the only way to get the gate code) because my GPS location wasn't close enough to the actual U-Haul location. Truck was okay, better than Budget rentals, but the steering wheel was loose, which made it a nightmare to drive on the highway without looking like a drunk driver. Plus the alignment was off. All in all, I should have gone with Budget againâ€¦ the louder truck cab is worth it for the smoother rental process and cheaper rates.Michael H.

The included padlock would not function. I had to use lots of wd-40 to loosen it up and make it functional.Mike B.
The location is great but your app had a big bug. It wouldn't allow me to add a picture of the odometer, thus not allowing me to go to the next screen to get a gate code into the facility. I followed another vehicle in but couldn't get out! I was putting the keys away and it said to go to a url to finish the check out. It was a similar experience to the app but allowed me to add a photo. The problem was that the website did NOT give me a gate code like the app so I was stuck inside the gate for 20 minutes without being able to get out. I called the emergency phone number but nobody answered and the mailbox was full.Michael M.

I appreciate that they had the trailer and let me bring it in the evening and unload it myself. I wasn't thrilled with the after hours service charge that was tacked on the final bill, but I've had similar surprises from y haul in the past, I just forgot about them I guess.JEFFREY T.

Tell customers there is a $25 charge if the vehicle is not brought back completely clean. I was not told this and apparently the vehicle was not clean enough when I brought it back, though I don't know what was wrong because they did not tell me what wasn't clean enough and did not provide me a photo. I'm sure there's something in the contract about it, but most people are busy and reading fine print when you're in the middle of upending your life is not all that easy. It takes 15 seconds to say, please return the truck completely clean or whatever the standard is. $25 feels steep for the average person, like a way to nickel and dime you when you know it takes 2 minutes to sweep out a truck or whatever it is. They told me the time to return the truck, how much gas needed to be in the tank, and what I'd pay mileage-wise. I did all those things just right. They never told me what I'd have to pay for not dusting the interior of the truck or whatever it was that they did for two minutes to justify charging me $25. I think it would leave a bad taste in your mouth too if someone did that to you. Also, the truck literally shook once I hit 45-50 mph as I drove it on the freeway. Juddered like you wouldn't believe for about 20 minutes. It didn't feel safe, but I trust you maintain the trucks as you should.DAVID W.

We wanted to pick up our truck before the on-site location was open. Opening the lock box to get the key to our truck out was a bit tricky. We could not figure out how to open it. We called the 800 number and the operator tried to help us. But she was unable to assist us. As soon as the on-site employee got there, he opened it quickly! We tried for over 30 minutes! Maybe I having better instructions on how to open the lockboxes (line up the letters a little higher) that contain the keys might help? The employee on site was very helpful, fortunately but we were about an hour behind schedule by the time we got on the road! On your online/phone instructions, maybe explain how much to do before you reach the location. We didn't start the on- line pick up process until we reached the location because we thought that would be best. But if we had known we could do a lot of the photo taking/ credit card info/etc. before reaching the location, we could have had all of that done instead of waiting until we got to the pick up location. Other than that, the experience was great and we had a great moving experience. ¡Gracias!Grant C.

I rented and returned my van rental to Justin, he was extremely friendly and helpful and even helped me navigate and find transportation to my hotel after I returned the van. Overall it is by far the best experience I've had with uhaul in any state.Lenord L.

The trailer was dirty on the outside, clean on the inside. Nothing to do with this location. I was every disappointed, in the fact that I had made the reservation so far in advance, and the unit wasn't available at the location that I requested. I was told I had to drive to Salt Lake City to pickup the unit. I called as I was about 5 minutes away from the new pickup location. To be told that they didn't have the trailer either!!! I was then told that I would have to drive an additional 30 minutes to pickup the trailer. Over all I had to drive an additional 1.5 hrs to pick the tailer (each way)!!! I was told by the representative from the Salt Lake location that their was going to be a 50 dollar refund for the inconvenience. I have yet to receive any such refund.Jaren G.
