The check in process was frustrating and slow, the check in clerk was friendly but couldn’t figure out in the computer where the key was so she came outside to just look in the boxes to find where the key was. The truck pictures didn’t show minor scuffs on the truck, and there was nowhere in the check out truck review or drop off process to explain that the seat of the truck was broken and could not be adjusted. The steering wheel began to shake over 30mph. It should also be noted that the truck does not come with a loading ramp, that was a disappointing surprise.

Anthony VMy original reservation was changed less than 24 hours. It was guaranteed. No one called and said a word from here or JD towing which was my scheduled pick up. No email either. Reservation still said JD towing that morning. I was sent out my way and wasted over an hour of time at the very last minute. U-Haul 1800 Customer service was very snippy and irritated on the phone. Tafton location was clean but lots of ice and I nearly fell. Branch was on top of the uhaul truck.

Jeffrey ENo one was there when we arrived, even though we were returning 2 hours ahead of plan, so my husband thankfully was able to unhook the trailer and we left a message on their answering machine with the time we left it.
Nancy MThe online experience was more work than it is worth. Had to spend 20 minutes giving all the information and waiting for it to be verified, as I stood with the rep who could have easily had this done in one minute. When an error occurred on the site that was not my fault it didn’t tell me what to do. Even with the rep there to call and sort it out, it took me another 10 minutes. What is made out to be an easier and speedier process, was much more stressful and unnecessary than I could have imagined.
Thomas SMake sure that you understand where you are to drop off your truck and what to do once you get to the location. No instructions on what to do if location wasn't open. We were told wrong drop ification. I'm not sure if uhaul Corp changed it after our pick up. Lady was very nice had a hard time with Uhaul site. We never saw our contract or signed a contract. We only signed and got a copy of our invoice for pick up.
Peter PIt wasn’t their fault, but some scumbag at our original rental location never returned the 17’ truck we reserved. Instead we had to opt for a 10’ truck which resulted in more trips, more money for fuel, and mileage. This is absolutely unacceptable and I want a call back from a Uhaul rep.

fran cCassandra was very knowledgeable. There seemed to be a mixup in which we wanted to pickup and return to Lords Valley PA but we needed to pickup in Tafton PA and return to Lords Valley. When we arrived to return to Lords Valley Christine said there would be an additional charge of $122 .00. This was incorrect. We were extremely unhappy. Between Christine and Cassandra’s expertise, our problem was solved. Uhaul is LUCKY to have these 2 valuable employees.
Paul BThe drop off location was relatively convenient but the area for the trailers was not paved and a little rougher. We arrived before 10 AM and they were still closed so we just left the trailer on the lot, which was fine.

Thomas KI will never use u haul again! I had to download an chrome just to use your website! So stupid still didn’t work was suppose to be able to pick up the truck at 8 am and had to wait till 10 am to get it because your website and the ppl I called were clueless! I still paid full price for everything even though the only thing decent about the experience was the place I got the truck from! I sat in my car for 2 hrs waiting for the place to open so I could get the truck! Your customer service rep had no clue how to help me and didn’t offer any discounts for the huge inconvenience that your website caused ! Absolutely frustrating and will never use u haul again!

BRADFORD WPocono Mini Storage was excellent!! I would use them again and refer them. It was U-haul the company that screwed up big time. I scheduled an auto transport trailer, received my email confirmation, went there the next day to pick up and there way none at Fort Knox/Matamoras, PA there for me. They referred me to a place in Newton, NJ. Hello, Iive in PA. After being on the phone with U-haul for 2 1/2 hrs. I was able to get one at Pocono Mtn. Mini Storage. They were professional, polite and really tried hard to please us since U-haul screwed up previously. Wish there was another rental place that had these, because I will not use the company U-haul again!! I'm a very dissatified customer.

Michael SOne of the guys that put the hitch on had an attitude & kept telling me I was supposed to be the one doing it. He wasn't supposed to. Took him & another guy all of 3 minutes, but he made sure to let me know that wasn't his job. UHaul has always put hitches on for me. This guy was just lazy & rude & didn't want to be bothered. A lesson in customer service wouldn't be amiss.

Robert DI made an apointment to pick up u truck a week out. You called the day before and told me my pick up location didnt have a truck availible. I has to travel 40 minutes out of the way to get a truck. This will be the last time i rent a u haul
