I was billed for 60 miles instead of the 30 I drove. I had to wait 45 minutes for the keys when I picked the truck up. I was told the fuel tank was full upon pickup but it took 12 gallons to fill it after only driving 30 miles. unless I am refunded a portion of the bill I won't be able to use uhaul moving forward.

The customer service at Plaza Hardware was very good. They worked through the return process efficiently and with a great attitude. I would very much recommend this location to others.

People were friendly here. However, I was told I had to have the insurance coverage. After speaking with uhaul customer service, after my rental and move, I found out the insurance is not a requirement. I did not opt for it in my reservation and did not want it at pick up. But had to have it in order to get my rental. Very poor thing to do if you ask me. Further more, the taxes and fees put my total rental costs about $50.00 above the initial reservation total....that's significant uhaul. 174.00 up to 227.56. ,Including 28.00 insurance coverage I did not want. This should all be in the total..not hidden. Uhaul customer care is just giving me lame excuses about taxes and not helping. Just give me my money back...you lied. I reserved a truck for one price ...I had to have the truck that day, when you add fees the day of it pisses people off.

I was very disappointed that i coud not reserve the car dolly at this location. It was nothing they did they were excellent and very friendly. It was the uhaul system that stinks. I had to go back home again 30 minutes laterand call to reserve the car dolly. The one car dolly that they had could have been reserved by someone else while I wasted my time running around.

I have used uhaul in the past maybe 2 other times. After this time I would not use uhaul again. When I rented a trailer from this location the person told me I have to pay preday which was around 100 a day. So I prepaid 5 days which was over 500 days. She said if I did have it for 5 days I would receive a refund and of course I didnt but I never rented a trailer and thought maybe they had a different policy for trailers.

Originally reserved with App but when I went to pick up my cell service wasn't able to get App so I went in and picked up rental that way. They charged me for safe move but I declined it when I had placed my order and they did not mention it at all when I got paperwork. I also was told and saw the gas amount 5/8th's a tank. I went to the gas station down the street from them a 1/4 mile and put 5/8's a tank in. I got the bill emailed the next day with the 2 days safe move charge $28.00 and a charge for 8 gallons of gas at $4.00 per gallon $32.00. I called and spoke to someone told them about my issues, she said she had checked the tank where I parked truck which was on a slight hill and it was a 1/2 tank I told her that was wrong I know there was 5/8ths a tank and it should be pulled to a level area and checked. She said she would have someone get back to me the next day. I still have not heard anything from them. I got over charged $28.00 & $32.00 a total of $60.00. I rent from UHaul a few times a year very familiar with how it works I have never ordered the insurance (safe move) nor have I ever not returned a vehicle without the right amount of gas. I am very disappointed with this place.

Uhaul as corporation I will never do business again with. Totally made me go 25 miles out of my way for a pickup when there are hundreds of trucks closer and I reserved this 2 weeks prior

We originally had a 24/7 truck share reservation set up for East Penn Self Storage on 4/21 @ 8am. We arrived at that location, the truck was there and ready, I followed the steps on the phone, and the transaction did not go through. I did not get an explaination why it didnt go through as I was with the exact truck, nor could I reach anyone who could explain why to me. So after I called we were re-routed to Plaza Hardware location, which didnt open until 9, where we were able to finally get the truck 1hr and 15minutes later. This cause a big disruption as we had movers schedule to help us load the truck prior to 9:30, and we were unable to use them for their services since the truck didnt arrive until after 9:30. The 24/7 truck share was unreliable and there was not enough client service assitance to explain or help with the situation.

I did have one problem. When I picked up the truck the tank was only 3/4 full. I used 1/4 tank of gas. Because I had to return it with a full tank, I paid for a 1/2 of a tank of gas but I only used a 1/4 tank. I should have only been charged for the 1/4 tank I used.

It was after hours. We did the online return which was way too time consuming. I can understand the picture of the odometer and fuel, but the rest were pretty stupid since the truck was going to be inspected anyway and the parking spot didn't matter. To much to do just to return the vehicle. After a long day of moving, you just want to drop the keys off and go home.

Trailer tire pressure was not checked and a tire was significantly under inflated. just an oversight but could have been an issue at highway speeds. Gentleman was excellent in service otherwise. He should have more opportunities for expanded Uhaul services!

Too much information (felt like it was an invasion of my privacy) was required to rent a trailer and I had already provided the same information prior to my arrival. It was a simple trailer and yet I felt like I was filing out an application for a home loan. I'm surprised I didn't have to put up one of my children as collateral just to rent the trailer. The process should be much easier and U-Haul should simplify the process so that it doesn't take so long to get it done.

Pickup was easy and drop off even easier. Trailer was ready to roll and did the job. trailer was heavy duty and had plenty of tie downs. can't beat it.

it was king of messy and disorganized, and it took about 20 minutes for the rep to figure out the computer system to get me the truck.

These guys are very personable, smart and knowledgeable. The family run operation treats you like a neighbor. The place and equipment are clean and well maintained. One huge advantage of renting here is the fact that it is a big hardware store and repair facility. They have extensive inventories and great expert advice. When I go to Plaza Hardware I don't ask for items anymore. Now I describe the project or the move and they have better ideas and solutions than I could imagine. They are also safety oriented and have genuine concern for their customers. THEY ARE THE BEST AND GREAT REPS FOR U-Haul! --Billy

The trailer was filthy, and had a flat tire before we ever got on the road. 2 tires were at 20 pounds, 1 at 30 pounds, and the other was flat. Took 4 hours for a truck to come to replace the tire before we could leave.

I originally wanted to pick up from this location but they didn't have the equipment I needed and recommended I call the Whitehall location. There is a charge on my bill for $ 35.00 for "incorrect return location" ???? when I rented the truck I told them I was dropping it off at the location I took it to so how is that an incorrect drop off location??? this is again, very unsatisfactory to me.

Try to insure exact equipment is available. I ordered 10' truck. Got 15'. No problem but the agreed upon truck would have been easier to fit in the space I needed to park in.

i was sent 19 miles away to pick up this truck. I was told on the phone when initially reserving that there were over 20 locations within a 3-10 mile radius but I was sent 40 minutes away. I was also asked to return the tow dolly and trailer to 2 separate places. When I called the scheduler to extend my my truck rental she was very very unprofessional. She kept saying Oh no and oh my God, like it was such a horrible thing. In the end, my rental wasn't extended.
