Issue with mileage charged. I drove approximately 17 miles total and was charged for 34. Unfortunately I have no proof of this.

Richard B.Did an electronic dropoff. The website for pictures did not allow you to drop off and say that the equipment was clean. It forced me to put in "Not Clean" and then they charged me $15 cleaning fee. That is a bad business practice.

Ayana M.More lighting for after-hours check-in. The 24/7 ride-share process needs abundant light to take all the photos required to pick up the vehicle Please make sure to indicate only Safari will enable the process. I wasted 40minutes trying to check in on Google Chrome and the U-haul app.
Bart S.I'm 72 and had a very difficult time raising and lowering the bay door. Turns out one of the metal cables was unwinding and causing it to jam. I was told the tank was full when I picked it up but it was down 1/8th. Also, it was shifting very hard up and down hills. I was told (afterwards) that I should have turned off the Towing assist thingy!

CHARLES B.The online check-in and check-out process was terrible. Asking me for my passport # on check-in? Then having me share my location information for drop-off? I had already dropped off and left the location before checking my phone to see I needed to drive BACK to the location to complete the checkout process or pay $20. None of that was disclosed to me. I am not knocking Pittingers, just the online process.

Very helpful when the Uhaul website wouldn't work for my self-service pickup… the man at the counter was able to manually process my pick up and did it in a timely manner to get me on my way. He even gave me instructions on what to do if the site wasn't working when I returned the truck… Which is extremely helpful that he did, because I wasn't able to do the self serve return on the Uhaul website either! Many thanks to the local in-person guy who stepped in to help!

david L.this is mostly a compliant..... not sure you will change anything. Disappointed with the amount of info Uhaul needs to rent a vehicle. 2 extra phone numbers? so lonely people cant rent from Uhaul. I dislike people trying to pry in to my personal life. if your insurance option is not good enough charge more. maybe another solution is to put a darn gps trackers on the trucks. about 10 years ago they were 200 and a monthly fee of 29 bucks when I bought one. For a fleet I am sure you can get a deal. which would be easier then calling around looking for a missing truck... work smarter and not harder.... tracking your equipment if it is late or goes missing is a professional way to managing a business and it is not you pestering people I know by calling them. Which did not happen in this case cause it was a normal rental. for that reason I will reconsider penski over uhaul next time I need a box truck. Actually I have used penski often and figured I would try uhaul. You almost lost my business cause of the extra crap mounted inside the truck (hand truck and moving blankets.) My hand truck dwarfed that small thing. and stuff i was moving was already packaged professionally. I think I am really not the type of customer you are targeting. so it was an ok experience and the local rep was a great guy. He saved the deal by not charging me for that extra crap mounted inside the box. told me I could remove it and put it back when I returned the truck. On the positive side the trucks were newer then they were the last time i was involved with a truck rented from uhaul. sorry if this is not the type of feedback you seek. but at least I took my time to give you a reply

SUSAN R.The only change I would recommend is urge people to stick to their pickup time even if it is after business hours. My pickup was scheduled for 2pm but it was Sunday so I thought I could be a little late. I showed up a couple hours late and had to be on hold with customer service for an hour. The customer service lady was very nice but I just wish I would have read the fine print. Everything else was great!!

Thank you. Your after hour check in site DOES NOT WORK!!! I have tried to use the site twice in the last month and could not check my rental in. Good for me the drop off sites did not charge for checkin because they understand the site does not work. If you are offering an after hour check in website please make sure it works.

JENNIFER LEANNA B.U-haul could hire more phone representatives for their 800 number. I had some questions that were never answered since I just couldn't hold the line any longer, and the online chat was similarly disappointing. This is not based on this location, as everything done on this location was excellent. Amazing customer service from the gentleman.

CRISTOPHER M.I made reservation with UHaul in Gettysburg but about hour and a half before time to pick up truck they called and stated they had no truck available! They then said a truck in Hanover was available. I took it because there was no choice. It gave me more miles to pay for and less time due to travel to Hanover to drop off. Also, day before tried to call the Gettysburg UHaul and phone rang and rang. I was only about a quarter mile away so stopped in. Girl at counter was sitting on her phone. If ever need truck again I will call another company.
