The trailer had dirt in it before we got it, we had to sweep it out before loading. Also the tenant should be more clear on the rates and actual price of the rental fees

The computer system was down and delayed my time to leave Pikeville for over two hours Didn’t have a variety of trucks to rent (no 15 foot trucks had to use a 10 foot truck) The mileage for the rental was 253 miles Pikeville to Louisville and needs to be a little more due to the fact many renters live more than 20 miles from the location (Pikeville), which results in the renter using 40 miles to get the truck drive home and then back to the location (Pikeville) to begin the drive to Louisville.

The uhaul staff and associates were top notch. The scheduling systems is a D minus. I made a reservation 2 weeks before my move and about 12 hours before my move date, uhaul calls me to tell me that there are no trucks in my location....within a 45 mile radius. Not cool. Makes you wonder why you even need to make a reservation in the first place. The whole experience for me was a train wreck. I had to pick up my truck from one location, the auto carrier from another location, and had to drop each item off in separate locations, even though I booked these items together on the same reservation. Honestly, the uhaul associates and team all did a great job at helping me get over these problems (even though I had to pay my own gas for a further trip, and the complete inconvenience of having to pick up and drop off carrier at different locations from the truck pick up and drop off) and they were all very professional about it. I will NEVER use uhaul again out of principle, but my over all experience could have been much worse if the people didn’t help me out. Long story short: I had the worst uhaul experience I be ever had, the scheduling system is terrible, and I wish someone from uhaul can actually read this review, contact me, and I would be happy to give them my reservation number. That way you can get a feel for how absurd my experience Has been. Thank You.

We would’ve liked to had known the truck size we would be getting up front. We asked for a 17’ but ended up getting a 26’ that day. We ended up having to pay for an extra day because we had a lot of issues getting the U-Haul to where we was moving to.

I was set for mobile check-in. Unfortunately, the keys were not left in the boxes outside the store. It caused a delay in the day. This was the only issue and was resolved immediately when the office opened.

The price I was given for a local rental was as follows $39.99/day & $0.89/mile, but when I returned the truck I was charged an additional $17.99 for fuel usage. I only drove 10.9 miles & I was charged $17.99. I was never told that there would be the fuel charge.

You could understand the term 'reservation.' I had reserved a 26' truck for Tuesday December 18 but was told the day of pick-up that both 26' foot trucks in my area (Pikeville, KY) were unavailable on the day I had reserved it for: one truck the user could not be contacted and the second truck the user decided not to return it on December 18!!!! I did get a 26' the next day; the delay caused much rearranging of several institutions' schedules. I was not offered any consolation so later that day I called and asked for something for my troubles of not getting the 26' truck I had reserved; I was given a $50.00 credit (really, that was all UHaul could offer). I have no choice but to rent a 26' UHaul twice per year and dread doing so because this is not the only problem I have had to manage due to UHaul not understanding the term "reservation.' In addition, while the truck 'appeared' in good working order, the driver stated the truck shook him to death on the 500 mile trip.

The check out was ok the lady and gentleman was very friendly although I was given or offered no help in securing the car dolly. I also think the charges were very expensive for a 2 hr local rental. Although I may have no other option in the future of a rental but I’ll not rent again if I have other options! $78 for a local car dolly rental for a 66 mile local round trip is excessive! Here I’m hurrying to return the equipment and was told I had it for 3 days. Is this a charge hipe?????? It is bad business!

Equipment was dirty, window down after rain, inside wet. Back of truck was very dirty, had to clean before using. Equipment smelled of smoke.

The company representative Sharon told me if I turned the truck in before the 24 hour period I would be refunded half of what I was charged for the two days. I even called back & confirmed that her. This was a misrepresentation by this agent since I did not receive any refund even though I complied with everything.

I paid a difference in mileage in cash but put the original total on my debit card. They took my cash and still charged my debit card for the difference in miles. I called to explain the situation they talked to me awful and never remedied the situation or called me back.

I didn't receive a copy of the rental agreement before renting, the person didn't give me any information about the rental agreement or different insurance coverages.

I will not use uhaul again. I will find other options after being charged double what I was supposed to have been for the insurance. Instead of 14 the service guy told us i was charged 28 and 10 minutes after leaving I had realized and my husband called and the gyy said he could not refund us because it was a misquote yet when you look online it still says says 14 and that is even the price he told us face to face.

Well the truck I rented, 17ft, wasn't available on that day, so I had to use a 15 ft truck. But u haul made it right with me. The gentleman that took care of me on the lt, was very nice, and helpful
