I rented the truck 8 hours from 9:15am, and UHaul charged two days because I returned the truck after hours which is 7:30pm. The clerk said if I should return the truck until 5pm. If not I could return it at the parking lot, put the key in key box and report on UHaul site. Otherwise, I will be charged for two days. She did not explain how to use UHaul site. I returned the truck at 7:30pm and came home. I tried to report on UHaul page it did not work. After trying 2 hours I figured I had to be on the Uhaul branch. It was 9:30pm. I came to UHaul parking lot, finish reporting. And they charged for 2days. I did not have the truck not even 24 hours. This is absurd!!

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This was my scheduled drop off spot but after arriving to the location, I was treated rudely. The woman would not accept the 26ft truck . She said she had no room, I wasn't in her system. She wouldn't help with calling another location. After about 45 min explaining to several people on 1800 uhual, I was directed to put keys in the drop box at the Sheep Creek location. I do not believe I will use Uhual in the future. This experience has horrible.

Start by not lying to customers. I had a truck reserved in Victorville only to find they lied. They sent me to Apple Valley and lied again, then they sent me to Phelan to pick up a truck. I would have canceled if I'd have known. Stafvat Phelan was good. Aside from that ill use a different company next time

Location was fine, it's Uhaul central that has lame customer service. Phelan Storage answers the phone most of the time, but neither Uhaul or Phelan Storage could give me adequate info about their trucks, e.g. if they have electronic brake controls, what the curb weight or tongue weight is, or even what year the vehicle is. ON the website it says $50 back if truck is not at desired location at desired time. It wasn't! - and the phone rep said that my request did not include that, but it was clearly stated as I booked it that it was. The trucks don't have an electronic brake controls, which seems absurd when even smaller newer trailers have electronic brakes. I had to buy a Curt wireless brake controller for $300 to use their truck. Uhaul should offer these for a small fee for people using their own trailer w/el brakes. Seems they are living in the dark ages. The website booking is realtively straightforward, except for the obnoxious add ons which, instead of putting them on one page, need to be declined over several pages. too time consuming, especially if you internet connection is slow! Uhaul needs to answer their phone or have complete info regarding equipment on the web. Overall, the experience was a pain in the but, and UHAUL OWES ME 50 BUCKS WHICH THEY STILL REFUSE TO PAY.

The first truck with 10 feet had bad leak from gasket when I filled the gas . I had to take it back . Asked for the gas refund. The truck was almost empty when I got it

This location always has the best service. The man that assisted me was courteous and efficient. There are several Uhaul dealers in my town, but I always go out of my way to use this one.

This is the 4th transition I had with uhaul in the last few months and was the ONLY good experience. I was told I had to go to Maricopa Tire to pick up the van I reserved. I drove 4 hours to get there only to be told since my drivers license didn’t have my new local address (it closed escrow THAT DAY). I couldn’t use the van. Thank God for Phelan SS. They came through and we’re amazing!!

when checking-in they didn't go over anything with us. The truck they gave us we didn't inspect with the person. She filled out everything before we got there we didn't find out there were multiple things wrong with the truck until after we were driving it. the mileage didn't seem correct either and then we turned it in they said we should have took a picture of it as proof so we wind up getting charged over. I don't recommend you haul at all.

The computer system was very slow and time consuming at least from a customers point, and on returning the clerk had to do the check in over the phone, even online system was slow, but over it was a good experience with U-Haul.

This seems to be a satellite outfit. The first vehicle needed repairs, leaks gas. But Jessica was quick to get me into another one and saw to it that I was reimbursed for the loss of gas that I tried to put into the first one. Over all, a good experience.

Easy drop off. Friendly staff observed and checked on me from window a few times to make sure I was ok, without impacting my return process. Made for an easy non-interrupted return.

I googled local Hesperia, ca Uhual near me. I called a week in advance to reserve the 20 foot truck. The guy I spoke with gave me the run down of the price and said that my reservation was set. The day before I moved, i received a call saying they did not have my truck at the location and wanted me to drive 40 miles away from my home to get the truck. That would of made no sense so I asked for the size smaller which I knew did not fit my stuff. The day of I call when I'm on my way to the Heaperia location and they tell me they now dont have the 15 for either, that I had to drive 18 miles away to retrieve it. So disappointed in the lack of incompetence and communication.

It was hard to find the truck we needed because communication between the uhaul locations was very poor. Was assured the truck was available only to drive there and find it wasn’t. This happened three times. The passenger side mirror got loose and we were unable to fix it. We ended up having to tie it down and the passenger had to do the looking for vehicle clearance when changing lanes. The transmission needs fixing before that truck is rented out again. The engine had trouble changing gears, especially going uphill. The cab smelled of cigarettes and was dirty. The windshield wipers were old and didn’t wipe the water off very well.
