The truck was leaking and since it was raining it leaked onto our belongings. The lock was broken so we had to go buy our own lock to use.

The lady that helped me should be in charge of training all Uhaul employees. Can do attitude and ensured we covered all options with a smile. Don't know her name, but sure you can tell from the computer system.

Uhaul is generally terrible and makes things as difficult as possible - sometimes even illegal (Centreville Rd Manassas location). I literally drove 45 mins out of my way to come to this location in Stafford because they are the only ones that get it right. I rent a trailer 4-5 times/year and this was the first good uhaul experience in years.

Make you online app user friendly. Took 6 attempts going completely through the checkin process to get the truck, 45 minutes in all. Webpage stalled out and had to start over again. Poor cell and poor wi-fi in the area. Doesn't make a lot of sense to charge extra for counter service here when the mobile app sucks.

I usually dont write negative reviews but due to unexpectedly strange negative behavior of the staff at front desk, I had to write this. Unfortunately, their rude behavior literally added a mount of stress and pressure to my day that was already full of strain. I am not going to go back again and wouldnt recoomend to any of my friends at least.

The online customer service was the worst I have ever seen in my life they had me drive 1 hour to get a truck then the truck was not there. They then told me to drive another hour in a different direction to get the truck then and hour and half back to the trailer I rented. The person at the location was a bale to get me a smaller truck that barely fit what I needed to move. Phone support was absolutely unacceptable. Why would I drive 5 hours all over the state to get a moving truck that I reserved 3 weeks prior.

The truck was heavily damaged and the on line check in process totally sucked. Everything they asked for could have been provided ahead of time. Who asks for referrals that early in the morning and calls them. I didn't even know they'd call them. Totally sad.. on the plus side, Tre who works at pet plus saved the day. I did everything required on line and the guy was talking on the phone to my reference and they canceled my on line session. Tre opened up shop early and got me checked in. He is a fine gentleman, thank you Tre. Shame on U-Haul for using and having a sub par on line check in company and procedures. They stink!!!!!

The drop off location has an old hardware store feel. The process was simple and the attendant helpful. The process was straight forward and what i expected.

These guys are hands down one of the best in town. They were courteous, friendly, and willing to work out a problem that occurred with my rental. Went the extra mile and very professional. I highly recommend!

I made a reservation in advance for equipment, but upon arriving to pick it up, it was a free for all at the location. They did not have the hand truck or blankets that i reserved. The appliance dolly hand wheels that were locked up which made it pretty useless. The truck was adequate, but the rest of it made me want to go somewhere else.

The u-haul share app took over 20 minutes for me to be validated (not the fault of this location, of course). However, the wrong truck key was in the lockbox. This caused me to have to go into the store to get it straightened out. It took me over an hour from the time I arrived at the location to the time I left. Finally, only one employee of the store was wearing a mask.

Just a suggestion: I had very little service at the location and was doing all of the check-in and check-out from my phone. It would be helpful if PetsPlus had wifi we could connect to so that the process would be faster, but, other than that, great experience!

The staff are excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Made doing the paperwork and getting the trailer easy even with a computer glitch that took a little extra time. Great staff! The area is a bit of a tight fit for hooking up to a trailer. Do a google satellite view. The traffic flow around the building is 1-way, counter-clockwise. My trailer was in a parking space in the SW corner, with trucks parked in front. My long-bed, crewcab took a little awkward maneuvering to get in and out, but it's doable.

This establishment is not following the CDC guidelines. They do not wear mask and also allowed a customer looking at pets to not wear a mask and walk about the very small congested spaces. When I expressed a concern I was told I could leave which was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Asking me to leave instead of following the law is a bit concerning. The lack of care toward the welfare of others should be addressed IMMEDIATELY. I would like to see something done. Wearing a mask is NOT A CHOICE, ITS THE LAW.

I needed to be in Philly by 10am, so I reserved a truck for a 4 am pick up using U-Haul's 24/7 online pick up system. Of course the lock box at Pets Plus, that held my vehicle key, malfunctioned. I worked the lock for about 45 minutes and was on the phone with corporate hq. The person that assisted me at hq was very pleasant but couldn't help me since it was a local issue. When Pets Plus opened up at 8 am, I spoke with the manager on the phone, said she didn't have a problem getting the key box open, but commented that several customers reported that it stuck. I immediately went to the store to pick up my rental. The manager provided the key and reiterated that the lock box did stick. I explained that the four hour delay was going to cause my prescheduled loaders in Philly to potentially not be available. I also noted that I would now be getting back so late that I would need to keep the truck another day. The manager said, “no worries, I will give lots of discounts”. Guess what? No discounts when I returned the truck. What was especially frustrating was Pets Plus knew there was a problem, since it had been reported by other customers, but didn't fixed the problem. Overall, a very poor operation.

The staff was not very helpful when I called to request to have my return location changed, to accommodate me being able to return the Utility Van where I reserved to place my property in storage. Originally, I requested to return a one way trip utility van in Brandon, Florida. I noticed on my contract that my return location was Lakeland, Florida which is 20 mile I the opposite direction from Brandon. I spoke with a representative at Pet Plus who promised to change my return location to a Tampa, Florida location. Once I arrived at the Tampa location there was not a note as promised, and I had to call the U-Haul service center (800) number and was taken care of.

Equipment and assistance was fine. However, during the Covid pandemic state order requires all to wear masks and socially distance. When I arrived not a single employee wore or had masks available. This is unacceptable. I should have taken my business elsewhere right then but needed the equipment I had reserved for that date and time.

Only identify equipment that is available at locations. It is extremely inconvenient to have to make alternate plans when the pick up location is changed. I was called the day prior to inform me that my pick up location was changed and the new pick up location was over 60 miles away 1 way in a totally different direction. This was not convenient to the customer at all.
