The amount of disappointment with this experience cannot be described. Uhaul changed both my location and truck size without even asking. This caused a lot of inconvenience as we had to do 2 times and trips and pick up the truck very far, and you charge by mileage. Then I return the truck with the amount of gas that I received and the bill has a fee for fuel. I never thought that I was going to go thru all of this with a company that is supposed to be well known and serious. I will try another company for my next truck rental needs. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

We had to hook up the trailer ourselves, and then when we returned it, had to disconnect and move off of the hitch...the guy said he didnt know how...my husband offered to guide him through it, but he just stood there waiting for us to do it. We will never, ever use this location again...they should not be renting and representing uhaul...

Our entire experience was just bad. I had my truck booked since first week of June, moving from waterloo to Stratford On. Nght before my move I received a call, that i know had to pick my truck up in Cambridge, almost 30 min drive from, originally location, whrn we arrived our truck wasn't even there, it was in Kitchener. They also forgot to give us the appliance dolly we paid for, and still charged us full price for it .

DROP-OFF TROUBLE: The drop-off I selected was 7-8 minutes from my house in Cambridge. But I was told to drop-off at a different location which was 25 minutes away from my place. But Sam was really helpful. He asked one of his employee to drop me back. I really appreciate his kind gesture. But my overall experience wasn't great. Why have a site when you have to do things according to your bookings? Moving a house is already a stressful thing and more then these things adds up. U-haul is not a small company, more professionalism would be appreciated from you guys.

When I showed up, I was the only customer in the store. Even though I had pre-filled everything on line, the person taking care of me pretty much did everything again and complained about slow internet speeds. She kept interrupting my check in process to serve other customers at the counter for cigarettes and snacks, and kept me waiting. When I finally got the trailer (After almost twenty five minutes), it was dirty inside. I asked her for a broom and then had to follow her into the store and get it myself to sweep out the trailer. She offered absolutely no assistance. I did everything myself including hooking up and testing the lights on the trailer. I asked her if she wanted to check it before I left, and she told me that wasn't necessary. I has requested the trailer in Waterloo and was sent to Cambridge to pick this one up (25 minute drive away). I tried calling the day before and the morning of the pickup To confirm the trailer would be there prior to making the 50 minute round trip drive, but there was no answer. This was the worst client service I have ever experienced.

Pick up was great, the male was friendly and very accommodating! As for drop off we spent 40 minutes waiting to close the account. We kept getting bumped aside for every person and phone call. Then to finish it and give back deposit a call to manager was needed I'm not sure why. We filled the tank and then apparently didn't fill it all the way and had to give. 5$ in cash to top it up. It made no sense.

I Completed “express” check out online before hand to save some time on check in. When I arrived I was told there was no one there from U-Haul to help today, eventually she got someone on the phone between pumping peoples gas at the same time. Then they could not process my reservations and had to make new ones which took 30-40 mins. The waiting area is a check-out line in a convenient store... When I returned the U-Haul I waited 10-15 mins while an employee figured out the computer all to send me a email.. I spent more time in the store then it took to use their U-Haul.. Not impressed with the express checkout or reservation organization.

Got the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas and returned it with 1/2 tank of gas. Then you charged me for extra miles. I had to go to two locations to get the truck on the Friday. So wasted an 1 1/2 hours to get the vehicle. And then charge me for extra miles and I returned the vehicle back Saturday afternoon in Harriston. So had vehicle for only a day and a half.

There were several issues: The pick up store was supposed to be in Kitchener, but it was changed to Cambridge the evening before. That took 1.5 hours away from my loading time. The store only had 18 blankets for my request for 20 blankets. The price was first quoted higher than the original price quoted, but then the final price was reduced. The drop off was quoted much further away from the Port Elgin office. What a nightmare. The truck drove well, but on wet roads the rather tread barren tires were slippery. I has to be very careful due to that.

My initial reservation was booked a month in advance however pickup location was almost 2 hr round trip. I saw this trailer available close to where I lived & called to book it instead. Kelly (at other gas bar branch) helped immensely over the phone to ensure I could secure this trailer making it way more convenient! A bit of issue when picking it up due to something on the uhaul checkout which was able to be resolved . Thanks Shawn

U-Haul is very expensive, and has a lot of hidden charges, like "built-in" fuel charges. I only went 17 miles and was charged 24 dollars for fuel, even though the "gas gauge never moved". Ridiculous.

When I drop off the truck I had to wait 10 mins before getting a confirmation that's all was good . The personnel did what he could do but no one was there to assist him in concerning the milage and gas for me to leave.

It took us over an hour to receive our Uhaul truck. We were told it was not there, despite that we could see it with our own eyes, right in front of us. We drove 40 minutes to pick up the truck because we were told there wasn't one available in our own city. Because of all the wasted time, we ended up having to leave a day late.

The location had no knowledge of me coming to get the truck, even though another uhaul location called it in and gave me a reservation number. The man I spoke to (Wisam) was rude to me, insisting that I pay even though I was doing it through a relocation company that was paying. He somehow could not find any of this information, and charged me over 100 dollars that they had to credit back two days later. Was also trying to tell me I had to bring the truck back which was again, not part of my agreement. Made my moving day take way longer and was way more stressful.
