Truck was not ready. A trailer was attached to the truck that was designated for me to pickup. The pads that I requested were not in the truck. The dolly I requested was not in the truck. Worst uhaul experience that I have had.Chris L.

You could start by not charging the next customer $2,768 more than you were suppose to and then holding their money for 3 days. The rental sight was fine but your ordering operations and the fact that a rental spot in Florida (I rented from a store in Missouri) could randomly bill me for someone else's uhaul is ridiculous.Benjamin C.

If you live in Raymore, this location is easy and convenient to pick up and drop off. The truck we picked up had not been swept out but it drove and handled well.KEN M.
I rented the truck for two days and was charged for four days plus I was charge double the insurance . Perkins automotive, where I rented the truck, charged my card $67 on top of the other overcharges. I would not recommend anyone going to Perkins to rent a truck.Stephen M.
I am very unhappy that in addition to charging me the full amount for my rental, Uhaul placed a hold of $52.21 on my account that I'm told will fall off eventually after 3 days or so. The rental location is unable to tell me anything about the charge or why it was placed and 1-800-GO-Uhaul will only tell me that it should fall off in 3 days or so, not why it is there in the first place. There was never any verbal mention of an additional hold being placed, and I see nothing about that in the contract paperwork that was emailed to me. Hopefully, it falls off eventually as they say, but if you're thinking of renting you should be aware that you may run into this sort of thing.Jason R.

UHaul called me the day before I was supposed to get my trailer and told me that I would have to go to Raymore. 20 miles the wrong direction. The people that I picked up the trailer from were very nice but they called UHaul to get help on filling out the paperwork. The woman on the phone was not helpful at all and was rather rude. The trailer was parked in the grass with the tongue on the ground. I was loading by myself which is nearly impossible in the grass because you can't move the tongue around the ball hitch. I had to use my tire jack to get the tongue up high enough to back under it. Also the wiring harness was only about two inches long. I had to go to the auto parts store, buy parts and build a wiring harness to make the lights work. I would let your next customer know that they should find another alternative than using your company. I hope to never be in a situation where I have to use your company again. This place is a dump. Not the image I'd think U-Haul wants associated with it's brand. Person that waited on me was very helpful, but not very knowledgeable. Equipment was in excellent condition.Robert H.

Deliver equipment and supplies to one pick up location so the customer doesn't have to deal with multiple pickup locations and split orders. Ensure all rental equipment is reserved and available at time of pick up. Don't park equipment in mud, I had to clean my driveway after loading because the trailer tires were covered in mud.Jacob C.

I paid Perkins before I left their lot and three days later I was contacted by u haul saying I still owed the amount plus a 30 dollar late fee on the bill I already paid. At the location I requested a receipt and was told that I did not need one buy a lady with short blond hair who was in her upper 50s it appeared to meMatt M.

Same as pickup location, no service. Just too to drop it over there by other trailers, which was on a down hill grade, and lucky if was able to stop it from rolling down to far. Thought abou tjust letting it roll on down the hill.Michael H.

The truck smelled like urine, it was dirty inside, and the driver side door wouldn't shut all the way unless you slammed it shut. I contacted Perkins twice regarding a rental. First time was on 8-1-18. I left a voicemail and never received a return call. I called back on 8-2-18 and spoke to someone and left my name and number. I never received a return call. On 8-5-18 I reserved a 17' truck to pickup at 4:30 p.m. on 8-10-18. When I got there, all they had was a 15' and no mention of the 17' truck not being available. When I asked about returning the truck at noon on 8-11-18, the guy at the counter said it needed to be back before 8 a.m. because it had been rented at that time. I returned the truck at 9:30 Friday night. When I went to get my deposit back at 8:15 the next day, they were just getting to it. So much for it being rented out at 8. This was my first time dealing with Perkins Service in Raymore and it will be my only time. I would NOT recommend them.David L.

The truck was filthy when recieved. The back was covered in shredded paper had cigarette butts there were unfolded blankets thrown all over the floor. The cup holders had spilled soda in them and when I returned it I told him the U-Haul was clean but when I received it it was filthy and had trash in it and cigarette butts and he kind of chuckled and said yeah I know I will never use this location again. Also they failed to verify the mileage on the truck before we took it out so when we return the truck the mileage was less than it showed on our out mileage so they had to estimate how many miles we used to charge us because they did not know how many we actually used. Have your people double check their hookups. We drove 380 with no lock on ball. Made it fine but could have been bad. Wind was horrible. Thank goodness we made it but guy at drop off wasn't pleased with situation and neither was my husband when he found outDiane O.

She was very understanding when I had told her that I wouldn't have the uhaul back in time by the time I had booked it for and assured me that it would be fine. trailer was full of garbage and leaves. the lady tried to overcharge at the beginning. rented for 3 days at 29.95, calculated 108.xx on the estimate bill. When we returned the guy adjusted the charge to what it should be 89.85. I showed him the pic of the garbage in the trailer and he just said, I guess it wasn't checked when returned last. He also did not inspect when we returned it.Joe J.

Stood in front office for 10 minutes before anyone greeted us or made eye contact. When the lady finally looked up and asked what we needed, she said all she needed was the key. We could have easily dropped this key with her if she had just acknowledged me sooner. Also, we were charge $5.95 for gasoline and I know there was at least 5/8 of a tank if not more. Wish we would have been a part of the check in process so that we could have disputed this charge! Bad experience all around!RYAN L.
