Gayle LPercys hardware was amazing to work with, uhaul was not! Use uhaul, but be careful. I had to drive 60miles in total just to get the truck after they said it was at my nearest location: 3 miles away. It wouldnt be a big deal if they didnt undercalculate 1-way trips. I had 833 miles calculated for a 1100 mile trip, then had an extra 60 miles added because my reservation means nothing if the person prior doesnt bring back the truck on time. Which i totally get.. but take the miles off my bill.

JANET FI ordered the truck well ahead and I couldn't get the truck, time, or location I asked for. The truck itself was in poor condition. Violently, yes violently, shook over 20mph.

micah hThe trailer was rusted and the doors did not shut all the way. The rubber seal around the doors was broken in each corner and between the doors. When traveling, it rained and my belongings got wet.

Michael AUsed two different days on my move. First time truck was totally muddy and windshield wiper was broken in the pouring rain. Had to get out to try to fix it, after getting totally soaked and frozen, I gave up and drove the rest of the way without using them. Dangerous situation, and the owner knew it wasn't clean as he made the comment to the worker! A few days later, I used it again and they fixed the wiper. I did the EXACT same route and I was charged over 20 miles more!!! Impossible!!! They also charged .99 cents a mile after first telling me it was .79 cents! Weekends were more which they did not disclosed to me. And to top it off they charged me for gas that I put in myself. So not happy and very irritated. Never going back!!!
Jayne CThe unit was nice and clean but when we were driving in the evening it was very hard to see good come to find out the left head light was burnt out we did put a note when we returned the unit very surprised at how comfortable the ride was
Joline PWhen I returned the truck, the location service pegged me a mile away, so I got charged (which UHaul backed off on & credited back). Maybe there's a way to have a Q Code placard on site that will back up the location service? Or a sign with Latitude and Longitude to punch into your app. This is (rural) Maine, and I have the best wireless provider and a good new Android. But, location service issues happen in places like this.

Adam GYou can HAVE the truck at the center we reserved it!! Had to go 25 miles away to get the truck. Got there, they had us picking up on a different day. WORST experience w/U-Haul ever
