This drop off location open at 9 AM. We were supposed to drop off the vehicle between 8-9 AM on Aug. 24th, 2019, but we dropped around 9:15am. We truck gas was at the same level we receive the truck and we were charge a fee for gas and we were charged and extra date, Why? Un acceptable.

For no reason at all I was charged an extra $40 by uhaul I called the drop off point they said they would look into it but I still don’t know why I received a $40 charge

This review reflects all three U-Haul locations that it took to finally get my guaranteed reservation. The mileage and the fuel levels were not accurate. I didn’t get to see it sign off on any of it before I left. I was emailed a contract after the fact. It said full, it was less than 7/8. The mileage was only off by 4 or 5. But still. Why not just be accurate? It still cost me an extra $15-20 in gas I shouldn’t have had to buy. I have photos documenting it. This was the truck that I was given (not the size I wanted) after TWO locations gave away my guaranteed rental. It took over three hours to get a truck. As I was walking out the door to pick up the truck I reserved by my house, I got a call that they didn’t have it anymore. Nearest one was an hour away. U-Haul called the local place and they agreed to hold it for me. I paid someone to drive me the hour to get it and I arrived on time, just to find they had rented it to someone else. Then they sent me to another place 10 miles away and I got a bigger truck than I wanted. So between the extra gas I had to pay to drive it back home, the money I had to pay for the ride to get there, and the extra gas I had to put in because it said full when it wasn’t...I’m way over budget. It took me 3 hours of my time and an extra $100 out of my pocket. So you offering my $50 for my guaranteed reservation being cancelled isn’t nearly enough. It should be $50 x2 for both places that gave away my reservation, money for the extra gas for driving the hour back to my house, money for transportation to get there, the gas money because the contract was wrong. Infuriating!!!

I did not get the moving blankets and I didn’t rent a dolly. Mike was supposed to have that corrected in the paperwork. Also there are no trailer jacks. I was told to just grab it by the chains and lift. Seriously? How many times have you been sued?
