I worked with the U-Haul on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa first and they helped me locate what I needed. Both U-Haul store's personnel were very helpful.

Truck cabin interior was clean. However the rear cargo floor was very dirty. Previous renter spilled something. Had I checked before leaving, I would have requested a different truck. Used flat boxes to cover area. Would NOT set my furniture on it directly. Otherwise truck was fine.

They do inspect the vehicle at turn in and we're polite when asking me to sweep it out. Truck was dirty when I rented it and I thought it was normal

When I arrived, on time, to pick up the truck, it was ready but the APP would not work. I was on the phone for almost an hour, most of this time, I was on hold, waiting for a customer service representative. My order was cancelled. I had to make a new This was not a good experience. There was a very kind, on site representative who came to our rescue just before 10:00. Otherwise, this was an terrible experience. Calling into customer service was very stressful.

They were able to provide us with a moving truck at the last minute after the UHaul on Skyland did not have the vehicle we had reserved and was not willing to assist and make it right.

I have no complaints or critiques regarding this experience. Everything was easy and the staff was great and very helpful. I couldn't believe that the final bill was even less than $100! We will be back to this location in the future!

don't switch me from one pick-up location to another without telling me, which you DID, and then stick me with a larger truck than I ordered, forcing me to adjust space within, drive a bulkier truck, and pay more for gas. Very upset.

Quick and easy, kind and considerate workers. Gas tank was marked as 'full' but was not really, ended up paying another 5 or so bucks in gas probably - but no great solution for that.

It would be nice if they told me where the key was located. I was given the code to open the lock, but it took a few minutes to find the lock on the back of the truck.

Location was closed when I went to pick up my rental truck. I am not able to use my phone to access the internet to process the rental process. The location should be OPEN when you pick up your RENTAL.

Although Royale was helpful - they were not the friendliest -it was like I was troubling them due to the app/contact free system not working on the phone. I much prefer to work with the Uhaul Store in Tuscaloosa on Skyland Blvd

2 dozen furniture pads were placed inside the cab instead of in the back of the truck. When I picked it up, it was pouring rain and I had to pull the truck out and move the pads to the back while getting drenched.

Staff at location very rude, unwilling to help. Was told I rented online and they don't handle issues with online rentals. Had trouble with online rental so I went outside of the store to finish checking in online and they closed the store at 3:45 pm as a walked out. Truck dirty and 2 of the 6 tires were very low and I had to take to mechanic for airing up as you cannot just put air in tires with duel wheels(needed special tool). Over all bad experience.

The truck looked as though it had not been cleaned in a very long time. In this dangerous time it is URGENT that disinfecting be done on every truck or piece of equipment you rent. I was in fear of infecting myself with COVID-19 when I got inside the truck. I am a very careful person and this still made me nervous.

Upon returning the U-Haul to this location with a quarter of a tank of gas more than was supposed to be left in it I am told that I am going to be charged for going 5 miles over my allowed mileage. Then I am handed a broom and told that I have to sweep out the back of the U-Haul again because I left a few pieces of grass in the cargo trailer. So instead of being reimbursed for the extra $20.00 in fuel that I returned the U-Haul with I am charged for $2.16 worth of mileage and threatened to be charged another $25.00 for three pieces of grass in a 20 ft trailer. So again I most definitely will not be recommending U-Haul to any one. I will be taking my future business to Penske from now on and letting every one I know about my experience with U-Haul.

I could not upload the photos during after service hours using my mobile phone due to the app giving an error. I couldn't do it several times, so I eventually gave up. You can check the log files. Can you reimburse the after-hours service fee?

Worst experience ever. Will NEVER use UHaul to go to Tuscaloosa again. NEVER!!! UHaul should be banned from Tuscaloosa immediately since there are no damn convenient drop off locations. I got nothing but the run around from UHaul. This entire experience has soured me on UHaul completely. I will encourage others to avoid UHaul completely. NEVER use UHaul in Tuscaloosa, AL!!

This location needs a better sign marking it as U-Haul. They had no inventory on hand which made it difficult to find. It is hard to drive by a location and then have to turn around while pulling a trailer on a busy highway.

Somehow, my pickup location was changed to a place 1.5 hrs away....I had a print out of my reservation stating the McF location. Thankfully there was one trailer left in the Size I needed and these people made it all work.

(BTW, this review is for UHAUL CORPORATE not the pickup location) . I was very unhappy when I received the email two days prior to my pickup of my 10ft truck that I would be getting a 15ft truck. I called customer service and they informed that there were none available. I remarked "I MADE A RESERVATION FOR A 10ft TRUCK! If I wanted a 15ft truck that is what I would have asked for". No concession was made just a comment back "well its a big weekend for the college kids moving". VERY FRUSTRATING!!! There should have been communication made when I initially made the reservation that I was not going to be getting a 10ft truck NOT LAST MINUTE! Again, I should have received some compensation for the inconvienence and poor communication. This will be something that will stick with me for sure.
