Everything was good
WILLIAM SEverything went well, mostly... The truck was quite new and had good power. The pick up went smoothly, but the drop off with a different employee was awful!! The lady asked my friend (who drove for me) to go back out and get the mileage, which she did. She came back in and gave her the mileage and the lady said. "This isn't right! It's too low! Go back outside and look again!" My friend said it was right, that it was just low because it was such a new truck. The lady screamed at her that it was not right, that there were not enough numbers and to go back outside and recheck, to which my friend replied that she had been driving all day and was tired and that she could go back out and look herself if she didn't believe her.. The lady then called her a Bitch! My friend walked out and left. I actually have the whole exchange recorded. That lady needs to be fired! I double checked the beginning and ending mileage. My friend was correct! If not for that exchange, I would have given 5 stars.

Charles DTruck was dirty, foul smell and the windshield was filthy.
SUZANNE HEmployee put wrong return city in and when I tried to change it customer service kept me in the phone for over 20 minutes until the actual office I needed to speak with had already closed. And a one day rental has now cost me over 300 dollars. Will not use U-Haul or recommend shut to anyone again I'm still waiting on a return call to see why my charges were so high. It's been two days

Michael MThe owner was not there & the person that assisted me knew nothing of the check-in procedure. I had to write the trailer info down for her & hope it got checked in correctly. It evidently did, but I felt that I was taking a chance that it would get handled as it should.
Vicky NCharged me a fee that I will protest on my card. I haven't a clue what it was for nor did I sign for it. Guy was not helpful.

Jeff MPick up location owner should be required to hook up trailer and check lights. I had to go to several locations in the Waynesville NC area and call u-haul corporate to drop off my trailer. A four hour task. No one was willing to accept the trailer.
James GIf it's the locations responsibility to keep vehicles clean, I definitely would not recommend. The truck I rented the cab was dirty with cigarette butts, trash and the storage area was filthy, I had to clean it before use. The truck wasn't in good working conditions.

Debra CPauls' was uneventful. The Birmingham location (28th street) was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I ended up driving to Guntersville because of the mistakes made at Birmingham. Yolanda actually hung up on me when i told her that not honoring the contract was not acceptable and i needed all the equipment I ordered. The people at the site also were not helpful in resolving any of my problems. I would not allow any of the people there to work for my firm. The way I was treated was disgraceful.
JOSEPH KFind out why the store charged a little bit more than what I paid online. Also, run a leaf blower around and inside the trailer before pickup. It was filthy with grass clippings.
Jonathan GThis company charged me two times for my rental said they couldn't help me gave me the name of a msn to call. Who tried to say it was a precharged amount to card. It wasn't. I was billed on the 15. This bill came in the 20. No excuse for lack of customer service on billing issues. I will not use this location again

Michael WWe needed to move the rest of my mothers belongs since she passed a couple of weeks ago. and needed to do so during the long weekend; I made the reservation online to pick up on a Sunday; not knowing that most locations are closed on Sunday. When we arrived at Paul's Sunday morning luckily it is a gas station/convenience store and open. The person working called the owner and we were able to rent; even though I had not totally finished the reservation. They saved the day for us and we are thankful.
DANIEL RThe location was fine, but U-Haul service was terrible. I got bumped to another location. I had a reservation. REALLY!!! They finally gave me a truck.
Mike SThe SmartPhone app is useless. A trailer was turned in but the app wouldn't work. U-haul 800 support said to just drop it off. A month later I get a bill for over $700 but a rental that had been turned in month ago.

patricia sOnly one light on the trailer worked. Did not realize this until well on my way to my destination. Could be a very dangerous situation that you would be liable for. Not my responsibility to maintain a piece of equipment I rent. The only thing I heard while renting the trailer is how short handed the facility was. Not my problem
