As far over all I'd personally never rent from uhaul again I had to go to 3 different locations and drive over 100miles each way too get my 26' truck and car hauler, and that's with a reservation

The people who worked in reservations were TERRIBLE. I reserved at a location in Selma 2 miles from house for 9:00 am. They called that morning and said they had nothing in Selma, so I would have to drive nearly an hour; I said we wanted Selma; hours later they offered a SMALLER truck that had NO AC to pick up that evening for SAME PRICE-rude and unhelpful. Then we settled on a place 30 minutes away. She said they would give extra mileage for trouble. When got there, there was 80 miles less than what I ordered online instead of more mileage included. But people there helped get back to original mileage promised and were nice. BUT I lost a day and had take another off and we had drive over hour out of the way and got no compensation or extra mileage so we had to change our plans on the home end too. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I expect a full refund of my money. I have already calledcustomer service to request that, and if it is not done I will dispute the charge. The location did not have the 36 blankets we requested and paid for as a result some of my furniture was damaged because we were not able to fully protect it by wrapping it as intended, but more importantly the blankets we were given had ants in them, and some of the blankets had eggs. As a result ants were crawling over my things. None of this is acceptable. The truck was also a bucket. It was beat up and I rattled a lot.

I got a text at 12 pm saying that my truck was ready to be picked up here. When I arrived, it was not there and the person behind the counter had absolutely so information and seemed completely confused about online reservations. He sent me to another location aceoss town, which did not have the truck either. The next morning I was required to drive 56 miles to another location to get a truck, and 56 miles back to load it--very inconvenient when you're moving to another state.

The uniontown location was excellent. The Hwy 80 location in Demopolis wasn't so good, but the Demopolis Auto Parts location was excellent so once I figured out where to go and who to deal with all was fine.

Only thing about this location is and you need to make a note, they do not normally take cash. I did plead to the gentleman to accept my cash and he was nice enough to take it. I did not have a credit card with me. This was a change from my original location because, the Marion, AL location's trailer was out for maintenance which it cost me time and money to call and find out they did not have the size I needed. So, it all worked out when I called to make sure so, the Uhaul records did not show trailer in for maintence. Everthing worked out but, I had to go an extra 40 miles round trip to pick up the trailer....
