I conducted an online chat and a complaint regarding defective equipment has been filed. Online agent did a great job!! Rental location is a C-store with one clerk/cashier who sells cigs, drinks, etc while you are trying to get a vehicle. Took 40 minutes +/- too pick up and basically the same to return. Then she wanted to argue over $1.00 worth of fuel. NOT ONLY WILL I NEVER RETURN, I WILL DISUADE OTHER POTENTIAL RENTERS. One mile away on Harbor City Blvd is a REAL U-haul store with great service and personable, knowledgeable staff.Joseph C.

I wasn't expecting for the uhaul facility to be inside of a gas station. The man and woman who run the station are friendly and helpful. One thing I would note is that Yelp says they open at 7:30am. The uhaul computer will not turn on until 8:00 am so just plan around that. I found this location and the uhaul to be well ran. Gas level and mileage was clearly marked as well.Brooke B.

You changed my pick up location last minute and I had to drive an additional 15 miles to pick up the vehicle then when I went to turn the vehicle in you charged me $.43 because I was 1 mile over my allotment which was less than the amount you made me go to pick it up and they didn't know how to charge this is absolutely ridiculousWADE F.

I was forced to buy gas even though the gauge read the recommended setting. They charged me for over mileage even though the contract did't specify any mileage limitation. They kept me waiting for over 45 minutes.Edward D.
Againsnt my better judgment, due to circumstances and location I used this UHaul rental place again. I'm curious if a member of corporate from Uhaul came to this location and went through the rental process with the people that own this gas station..how much longer UHaul would have there name attached to this business. During the course of my transaction to return the truck the owner/clerk rudely tried to force a customer to make a purchase in exchange for use of the bathroom. While moments earlier telling me there was no bathroom. She never finished my transaction due to customers coming in. Refused a receipt, told me it was 52.00 but I was charged 78.00. I literally, quite loudly, asked if she was going to complete the transaction with me and she and her husband then acted as though they didn't speak English and ignored me for several minutes. I will never use Uhaul again and Ive let many in my community know about my experiences with this location. Blows my mind that Uhaul would continue to keep this location attached to their name.LISA M.

Poor customer service. The husband and wife were extremely rude and uninformative. They also charged us an extra $7 for the dolly which we didn't even touch. Beware of these people. Just go to the location is US-1 about half a mile away. I was so disappointed with the whole experience.nick N.
This location was primarily a convenience store and the clerk/agent continuously stopped helping me to help every customer that came in even though I scheduled an appointment for 4 p.m.. The process should've taken only a few minutes to complete however it took almost 30 minutes with most of it spent on waiting the clerk to get back to me. This was very rude and unprofessional not to mention wasted a lot of unnecessary time. The experience was the same when returning the vehicle. If this location will continue to rent trucks then they need to dedicate personnel to handle renters when they come and not be put on the back burner for every customer that came in after them..Timothy P.

Filthy store. Rude clerk. Truck ran like shit...like there wasn't a drop of oil in it. Was told my card wouldn't be charged until I returned. Ten minutes after I left with the truck I got a bank notification stating they were processing charges. Second time I've rented a truck there. Same results both times. Will never go back.LISA M.

I arrived a few minutes early. The woman behind the counter was very short, rude, and acted nervous and confused. After I stated that I was here to pick up a truck, but that I also needed ice and a phone charger cord. She got my charger and rung that up with the ice. Then, she took the next customer in line. I realized I was a few minutes early so I asked will the UHaul person be here soon? She replied, "I do that. I do it all" or something to that effect. Then, She took the next customer in line. I was sensing a pattern here as two men came in to make a small purchase and hand in or buy lottery tickets. Then, I stated that I cannot wait for her to take every customer that comes in before me. She rudely told me that she has to take the customers that come in. Woah! I am a customer and I was renting a truck, making purchase, and even used her cash machine which charges an arm and a leg. So, after snapping that she's just going to take all customers that come in, I said, fine I will just complain to UHaul; because, you obviously can't treat their customers right while you're busy taking all customers before them that are buying little purchase. They can't wait but I have to? So, no. I will not go back to this greedy person's place of business again. I won't get gas there, I won't purchase anything; and, I most certainly, will NEVER EVER rent a truck from this NASTY woman or nasty place again. And, DIRTY doesn't even begin to explain the condition of her store. Shame, shame, shame. Hateful, nasty, and I'm sure she is the owner. Greedy, money grubbing, and self-righteous, indignant, and entitled. Zero customer service or smile.Constance H.

The A/C didn't work!! Had a 2 hr drive across central FL that was extremely uncomfortable. It's stressful enough to move but the lack of A/C made it a really miserable experience.Sharon B.
