Excessive charge to my credit card related to mileage, fuel and other charges

Individual who connected trailer should have sent me to a service center to switch my arm around and ball so I had a two inch rise instead of drop. I had to go to service center and unload trailer and reload to make this happen because trailer was too low and hitting. Also, paperwork had wrong trailer number that I had to return to get corrected at check out. Individual handling check out and paperwork was knowledgeable and friendly. Helper caused issue with trailer.

The door on the trailer is extremely hard to open and the lady at the register was rude. The guy helping me hook it up didn’t tell me to stop and I backed into the tongue of the trailer. There was no damage, but he was no help.

Very poor availability of trailers. I could not get a a 6 x 12 trailer within 100 miles of Denver. My original reservation location for a 5 x 8 trailer was changed to a location 25 miles away.

Original reservation specified furniture pads and a furniture dolly. The dolly was provided, but no furniture were available. I wish I had known that when the reservation was made. Learning that when I picked up the truck the day before my planned departure created problems for me, and I didn't have time to search for pads at other U-Haul locations.

Feed store parking lot with cars in multiple directions with pull-in off a very busy road on steep incline into lot. No signage for where to go, just an employee plainly dressed yelling from afar who looked over unit and indicated everything was electronically done and we didn't need to sign anything. Unit wasn't checked in for two more days on their end though we continued to get warning calls from Uhaul about incurring more fees for late check in and now multiple toll fees for dates we didn't have the unit.

My u haul exp. overall was horrible. I ordered a 26ft. Truck a few weeks ago to be picked up in Parker and I was called 3-4 times with different locations and pick up times. Then the day before I was told I couldn’t have a 26ft truck only a 20ft was available. then the day of I was sent to the wrong location then when I got to the correct location she said she only had a 15ft. The representative was rude and defensive. I had to pay movers by the hour and with the smaller truck I had to pay for 2 additional hours because we had to make additional trips. I will never refer u haul to anyone.

Maybe better explain the additional charges. Mileage really adds up and the bill ended up being a lot more than expected. :-/ other than that all great!

We had set up a reservation online for the largest trailer however when we got the the first location where it told us to go they didn't even have a trailer at all so sent us to another location they didn't have one after we were told they did. Finally called customer service and after 30 minutes on hold they found a smaller trailer for us. We didn't get everything moved and will have to make another trip and rent another trailer. Was told we would get a $50 credit since the trailer we reserved wasn't available. Haven't seen that but was charged for the trailer rental at the time of the reservation which was around $119 then was charged again when we got the trailer for $54 or something close. Worst experience ever then the trailer door would hardly open or close.

RENTING A PICK UP TRUCK AND A TRAILER AT THE SAME RESIVATION, RECEIVER SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. I THINK IT IS STUPID TO HAVE THE CLIENT HAVE TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN RECEIVER AT THAT TIME.

The pick-up location was wonderful, U-haul as a company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I will never be renting from them again. To make a long story short I had to drive 11 hours to go pick up two trucks that I had reservations for and spent over 6 hours with various customer service representatives that continually failed to fix the situation and was hung up on.

First off online checking did not work! I was the only one in line I was asked what I needed I told the man, he looked up the reservation. Then another customer came in he asked him what he needed. He then helped him. Extremely rude. I then got the truck rented and left. I put ten miles on the truck! Put 2 gallons so gas in to bring it up to full, (level ground). I returned the truck full! I took pictures of everything then went inside! I was told just leave the keys on the counter, several times and that I was through and could go. I finally did and to my surprise they charge me for 1.4 gallons of gas, so that means that I used 3.4 gallons to go ten miles in a 15 foot truck. They roped me off. I will dispute my credit card bill. Don’t use this location at all! Worst service ever!!!

Picked up a trailer on a busy Saturday. Unfortunately, the computers weren't functioning, the credit card machine was down and numerous customers. Both folks I interacted with were stellar. Very patient and very friendly despite the issues. Would definitely use them again.

I'd recommend only because it's local. Reduce the wait time and excessive questions even after making the full reservation on line. UHaul scheduling seemed to have scheduled everyone at the same time making the wait excessive, also. Trailer hitch was damaged such that the ratchet ball tightener wouldn't work. I was unaware of the damage til later but this is dangerous.

You mobile pickup screwed up my original reservation and cancelled it without much warning. The website pickup time options did not made sense therefore I had to put the wrong time. The scan of my driver license scanned the wrong number. The person at the rental location had to do a new contract. Super nice guy took care of me.

When I left the U-Haul at the location it’s only ran 21 miles, however appears that they charged me for 36 miles, I will never go back to that place.

This trailer was immediately taken out of service as this location found the other tire that didn't blow to be "unsafe". U-Haul should at least compensate me for the hotel room that I had to forfeit as I wasn't able to get to the hotel before the latest check in time. I can;t get a number for a representative that will help me solve this issue.

I dropped off my trailer about 10 mins after store closing time and Brian unlocked the gate and let me complete the return. Very nice to allow me to do that!
