Nothing everything was really good
Jaime EsparzaThey told me, “your trailer is the one on the hill”. The trailer was parked on a HILL, and they had NO wheel blockers to keep it in place. When going to lift the trailer onto the car, it hit the tailgate and has put a massive dent/scratches because it rolled down the HILL into the car. Very disappointed this location knew it was parked on a hill and did not have any wheel stoppers. When I told them this happened, the response was “this is where the customer left it and it is not our problem.” Would like to get this issue resolved asap. No help in loading or reimbursing for damages caused from this lack of care and service.

Javier HernandezI arrived shortly before closing and asked to have my rental checked in before they closed, I was advised they would be out momentarily to check. I waited outside but no one came out, and when I tried to go back inside it appeared the staff had left for the day. Additionally the website and app were not able to let me do a self check in due to a location fault. For me this was inconvenient befits it meant the trailer was in limbo and still in my name for all of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning for what was supposed to be a 6 hour rental.

John MartellWhile the equipment was in working condition the truck smelled of smoke. This made for an unpleasant drive. Additionally, this location charges an after hours service fee beginning at 1pm on a Saturday despite the fact that I scheduled my return for 4:30pm ahead of time and dropped off an hour early (3:30pm). This charge was not disclosed at the time of pick-up. The fee is $20 which is entirely too steep for something of this nature. To be closed beginning at 1pm on a Saturday when most people are utilizing these services is wildly inconvenient and frankly makes zero sense for a business of this sort. Will not be using this location again.

Very very helpful that was on 1/30/24 around 4:20pm When i returned the unit on 2/1/24 the agent a female different from the first time was the rudest I encountered in a while. I know it’s a storage unit place but she has no business having a job representing someone’s place of business. -10 in customer service ! Not wanting to check in my unit because she was “busy” but ready to close tje office at 3:00pm and rush out in her silver Ford Expedition!!!! VERY POOR SERVICE ON HER PART !!!!!!! Thank you for the lady’s that helped me when unit was picked up !!!!!!

osiris pinedaPersonnel are disengaged and rude and not interested in helping the customer. "put the key on the counter and you can go" with a dour face was all I got. When I suggested that I knew I was over milage and needed a total on that, the staff member made it obvious she was put out to have to go out to the truck to check the mileage. An hour later after drop off was made, I got a call from the facility asking me when I was going to bring the truck in, so obviously the person working the counter earlier never checked the truck in, nor did she tell her co-workers that it needed to be checked in. The person who called me was genuinely surprised the truck was outside sitting in their lot and the key was already in the office. ALSO, AGAIN, I TRIED to use the UHaul App to check the truck in and it was totally unresponsive and useless. it could not connect and none of the button/links in the app worked at all for me to just check the truck in myself.

enrique maciasIt was strange and slightly inconvenient that the U Haul business hours were not the same as the hours of the storage facility they are partnered with (Park Place Storage). I showed up early to take care of my paperwork, but was told by the Park Place Storage employee that "U Haul" wasn't open for another hour. So I left and came back an hour later only to be helped by the very same person who told me that U Haul wasn't open an hour before. That was inconvenient and annoying. Other than that, the employee was very friendly and helpful.

Laura provided excellent communication skills, demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and the best customer service.
Adam BarronAs the site and the owner site do not match their well so people who needing certain equipment like a dolly or specific dolly, and they did not have these dollies and told me they just don’t buy more because people steal them. I failed to understand how this problem is mine and not there. I was also told if I needed different equipment just go to Home Depot and Lowe’s. I think I’ll just go to Home Depot and Lowe’s for my needs for hauling in the future and I recommend others to do the same.

Jason KleinschmidtThe lady in the office was not very kind or accommodating. Every response was an “ not my job” attitude. We don’t do that here! I got a 15 ft truck. Tow dolly and I wanted a hand truck but was told we don’t have those here. Once I hooked up my vehicle, I wasn’t comfortable with the 15 hour travel without having an expert look at it, she told me to call roadside assistant I did, and was told to drive to the nearest dealer.

Stoney WimberleyOn the online U-Haul site, when I started my order and chose the truck size it said Guaranteed at this location. The other Kyle area businesses did not say Guaranteed so I did not choose them. However, this morning when I went to pick up the 26’ truck I was told they didn’t have any. I explained that the online site said Guaranteed! They said there was a 26’ truck in South Austin if I wanted that one? I couldn’t drive into Austin and besides, my movers were showing up and their time would start accruing. I don’t understand how U-Haul calls this a Guarantee? It clearly is not and your wording should be changed accordingly. I don’t know how you can misrepresent this to so many customers and no one has done anything about it? I have used U-Haul for a long time but next time I will look into other sources even if they’re more expensive. Being straight with customers means a lot to me and I am willing to pay for that honesty, especially since it’s so hard to come by these days. U-Haul is a large company and shouldn’t be treating people this way.
Barbara Smiththe drop box for keys does not seem secure. I feel like anyone could use a wire or wire coat hanger and pull sets of keys out.
CYNTHIA PRICEPrioritize the Customer experience and ensure that there is atleast one attendant on site during business hours. The self serve option poses too many challenges and delays, so i suggest eliminating that altogether.

David FutchCustomer service / employees very friendly. But I ordered my truck way in advance. One regular dolly, 1 appliance dolly, and 2 dozen blankets. They didn't have the appliance dolly, or 2 dozen blankets. The movers showed up 40 minutes late and seemed lethargic. They were very polite, and friendly, but no real hustle. For 22-year-old fit guys, they moved like slugs and one of them was on the phone way too much. They left 2 full SUV car loads full stating they had another job to go to that evening. I hired them for 6 hours and was willing to pay another hour to get the remaining things that could've fit on top with all the empty space. I was forced to go back and load up Sunday. We're talking rolled up rugs, ironing board, dining room chair, desk chair, terra cotta pots, and other flat items that could've surely fit. I managed to talk them into taking a few more items, but they said we had to leave. So, when we got to home to unload, pizza and drinks were waiting, and the unloading was super-fast with my 2 sons helping with misc. tasks to expedite the unloading. Also, when the movers called to reconfirm early in the week, they quoted additional 20.00 for gas and 25 for stairs, which had never been mentioned in previous conversations. I gave them 89.00 tip and fuel. Which was all the cash I had. All in all, what they left caused a huge inconvenience to me and other people who had to jump in to help. So, other then the individuals at UHaul office and the movers being kind and policy, the service sucked. Sorry, but I'm 65 and that was the roughest move, I've ever experienced.

My stuff was in this building for less than a month and hundreds of dollars worth of items were ruined by a massive rat that got in. Worst customer service ever. Not easy to pay bill. They don’t send out an invoice, and they have no emergency line for issues after normal business hours. We were trapped in the storage fence for over an hour and no one would pick up the phone. I finally got ahold of the owner by asking the lady behind the counter at the gas station and was told “you have to wait till Monday” I tried to talk to the man personally on the phone but he refused to listen to me. I drove 8 hours to clean out the unit on a Saturday and they had absolutely no one to contact when they are closed. I’m a single mom going through a divorce and this storage unit really inconvenienced me and cost me more than it should have.

Other than this , which my RV was parked in the very back, I had no issues at all with the location, easy access and hours of operation. Whenever I do need to restore my RV I'm definitely checking with Park Place first.

I put down ant grandules around the landing gear and tires but with weather and wind didn’t last and we ended up getting more ants. This past weekend when we got to our camping spot we doing thousands of ants. Several areas where they made nests. Etc. Our spot was next to a spot where a dog poop company had a dumpster so the ants had food and only needed a place to stay warm and out of the rain. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Very bad place.
