So, Originally, I was sent to another Uhaul Facility in Kyle, Safe & Sound Storage to drop off, but when I arrived to drop the 26 foot Rental, I was told that I could not drop it off here because they did not have a place to put it. I then drove to Park Place Storage, and I was told to drop the key in the box. It took them until late monday morning to update that the vehicle was received on Saturday. Meanwhile, I had the other Uhaul place calling me up asking if I had dropped the vehicle off. I tried calling Park Place Storage around 10am, but only received an answering machine. I called Uhaul around 10:30am, and still the vehicle was not checked into their computer.JAMES W.

The U-Haul online reservation system incorrectly allowed me to make a reservation for a 6x12 trailer at another location (Uhaul Neighborhood Dealer on Bunton, 1.8 miles away). The attendant at Bunton was able to see thatbI was actually reserved at a different location than my email receipt showed and sent me to Bee Bee Street. Neither location had an available 6x12 trailer, so I was forced to settle for a 5x8 trailer. The attendants at each location were very helpful and friendly. My issue is that the online reservation platform obviously is not linked to actual inventory at actual locations. I do not trust your online reservation system and will not use it in the future.Chase Y.

When i picked up the dolly the woman was very hostile and downright mean, she made threats to cancel my order if I didn't shut up. There was a young Hispanic lady there that helped me outside and she was just wonderful to me and tried to calm me down after the horrible check out inside. Lots of rodents in the place , insurance was not encouraged or notified of pest in order to purchase one, my furniture was affected badly by these. I left because of this and they still charged my card for it. On top of that because they don't work on Sunday they broke my lock on Saturday when I told them I will go in the weekend, well I did go Sunday night and found they have locked me out of the facility. When I reserved the truck days in advance I also reserved 2 utility dolleys. When I showed up for pick up, I was told they had NO dolleys available. I should have been notified before the pick up date that my request could not be accommodated so I could find another place that could. I ordered 24 blankets and they only had 18. I really needed 24, as I had to go out and buy 6 more to finish the loading. Costly and time consuming when I didn't have time. Could have better educated the car loading process better -- after a short while on the road I checked and both straps had come off the tires!Kenneth B.

I paid for a dolly and moving pads. I was not provided with either. When I inquired I was provided a moving dolly, but no moving pads were available. I received no credit or adjustment to my prepaid order as of yet.Randal P.

I originally rented a larger truck. I was never notified that the truck was not available. When I arrived it took a lot of time to obtain a different size truck. Because of it being smaller I had to make more trips which then leads to higher mileage. Of course I had to pay for that. I love the ease of checking in and using the phone but I think it was pretty shitty to have been notified of the unavailability when I scheduled this so far in advance.BREAH F.

I reserve online and 6x12 open trailer with ramp, online says this location did not have one o they sent me to the Windy Hill location. When i proceed to check out, they move me again to another store, and at the end of the day, the one that had the trailer was the first one ... crazy, funnyUsama M.

The trailer had no jack . If you have to disconnect for any reason (go to town , blown tire or ext ) you have to do manually and the trailer for most people is hard to remove and dangerous to remove for the average person manually.John H.
no internet for service to pick up and drop off the truck. Both required over an hour to access. They need to install some type of booster so that the apps work as expected. The workers were not good at sharing changes with the next shift that was coming in. This was a very negative encounter and I would not use them again.Michael T.

Not sure why you need a photo of the front and back of my Drivers license to rent a trailer. I understand the front. But other than the bat code there is nothing on the back. Now with both my D/L can be replicated and use.Michael S.
This was not our original location. We lived an hour away. But the first truck had no tread on the tires and Uhaul had approved it for a 5 hour away move towing a car. Then, they had us drive an hour to pick up our truck putting us 6 hours after our original pick up time. The distributor locations were amazing. They were kind and helpful. They made the experience bearable. Uhaul, itself, was awful. The customer service rep was rude & the original equipment was in terrible shape. We were behind on everything and because of them our move was chaotic and less organized than it should have been.Cara F.

I was charged an extra day for returning the trailer 21" after the 24 hr period, and much of that was me backing the trailer into position to unhitch it, plus I had to show them how to attach the restraining chains and do the attachment, time that was charged to me the prior day. The trler had not been cleaned out. Broken glass, screws, wood and metal still in the trler. The employee removed the dolly, and it was obvious to the site with all the glass. The employee was good on every other level.Sarah B.

I am disappointed with this location for a few reasons. They did a great job in getting everything started and paperwork quickly but... 1. The truck was not very clean and still had someone else's trash in it. I had to wipe it down with wipes. 2. The truck had a tire service warning light and I was asked to fill up the air in the tires myself. 3. I dropped off the truck before the deadline and was upcharged for protection and the rental fee plus tax based on the final receipt and the day and time that it shows I dropped it off is incorrect. The lady I approached was cleaning the floors and asked me to leave the key on a box and she would complete the dropoff and I would get an email. I dropped it off the same day and only had the vehicle for 2.5 hours and dropped it off before the time required on the receipt. This is not acceptable, nor is it good customer service.JoAnn B.

I paid for an appliance dolly rental with the truck. When we arrived to pick up the truck there was no dolly. I spent 1 hour 45 minutes on hold waiting to speak to a representative for help while my husband waited over an hour on the online chat to try to figure it out. We ended up having to spend more money and time to rent a dolly from Home Depot so that we could get moved. Terrible customer service.BRIAN P.

They did not review the contract with us, so we did not know about the gas charges and were charged $97.00 without knowing. During COVID-19, I think companies should be overly cautious about explaining extra charges/fees so the customers know. We are all tight with money right now because of the economic downturn due to COVID-19 and so we do not have extra money to pay for extra charges that were not explained ahead of time.Ryan M.

Received a call at 6:00 the night before my rental informing me that they did not have a truck at my selected location and had to reroute me to a location â€œslightly southâ€ of the original location. When I got to the pick up location I found that it was almost 40 miles away from my destination and had to drive through city traffic. Added an extra 1.5 hours to my trip and delayed my move. If the workers are that scared of getting the corona virus they shouldn't be open. It was unacceptable to be yelling personal information like a drivers license number from the door of the business to a worker 15 feet away because they wouldn't let you enter the building and keep 6 feet between you and the counter like every other business does. Screaming across the store is ridiculous and the customer service was piss poor. Not only did they yell to make sure you didn't enter the building, they also prioritized their closing duties over helping a customer unhook their rental trailer and drop it off 20 minutes before their sign said they closed. We sat in the car waiting for them after they yelled at us to not enter the building for them to come help us unhitch. We called the store twice and after sending us to voicemail the first time they picked up and said that it would be another 10-15 minutes before they could come out to help us because they had to finish their closing duties before coming out. Should have just said we could unload it by ourselves to begin with. It was a waste of time. Will never be going back to this location.Sierra M.
Glass all over ramp a d storage area when i picked up. Took me 1 hour to clean before i could use. I reported this upon opening the cargo are but no one responded.
