The cab smelled terribly of body odor and the rear had leaves and other debris left behind by the prior user. I returned it at 8:30 am which is 30 minutes before they open and they charged me 20.00 for an "after hour" service fee then charged me a 25.00 cleaning fee. When I called and asked why he said they had to sweep it out. Untrue! It was spotless when I returned it. I even Febrezed the cab to eliminate the smell. These kind of needless charges are why I will be telling people not use them in the future. Bad gas travels fast in a small town.ERIK LAWRENCE F.

Great female associate! She called me by name and even met me at the door of the store. I apologized for running late bur even with multiple customers, the store employee was super quick. When I got back, she again met me at the door. I will go back to this particular store because of the customer service.STACEY DAWN O.

I arrived 5 minutes before 9 am which was opening time. The guy first informed me they weren't open yet, next he told me I couldn't park where I was parked, when I moved my truck, I was told I couldn't park there either. Each time he spoke to me, he was extremely abrupt, and rude. He was dealing with another customer on the lot, while talking on the phone. I was happy to wait, my truck was never in anyone's way. I needed the trailer that morning ,or I would have simply left. I have other trailer rental options in town. I will never rent from these people again.ANDREW LYNN K.

My trailer, 3980 UV 3890, was very old, so the paint was mostly faded, however, the trailer served my needs well. It could use a good bath and polish and maybe touch up the paint job, but it will be serviceable for some time to come.Howard H.

We will never rent from uhaul again they had my drop off location wrong and when you call to talk to anybody you wait 30+ mins on hold. And then we were charged a $20 after hours charge at the drop off location that we were not told about if we had know we were going to get charged we would have waited till the next day.MARK J.
I have nothing to complain about. it was easy to find and easy to park and make the drop off. Although if you have ATT as your carrier you will have a hard time getting the drop off application on the website very difficult and time consuming.kamron C.

When I picked up my trailer the man at the counter was rude. He was pushing me heavily to purchase the insurance. I didn't want to because I have excellent insurance coverage. He was threatened me that he would not rent to me but finally gave up and let me rent. This was the 4th time I have rented this year and have never been late returning. Unfortunately when we arrived at the storage unit we were clearing out, we didn't have the key. We had not been in that unit for a few years and had taken all are keys but none of them were the right one. Since this storage unit is located in a remote area of Northern California we were unable to get a lock smith until the following day. This put us behind schedule but we still felt if we worked fast and hit the road we might make the deadline. Unfortunately we were so exhausted that we were late. This location fined us $300 for being late! More than the cost of the rental and in hard times fir everyone. I have in the past gone to pick up a trailer and the people are late so I know it is not nice to do that to the next people, but if you look at my past of never being late, one should understand that this situation was out of our control. They really are not nice and I think they just like to squeeze as much money out if people for themselves. Never will I ever rent from them and being new to this area, everyone I meet will hear about my nightmare story!LISA C.

I only drove 11 miles. The van was dirty inside when I got it. I put that on my check in report. Was charged $25 cleaning fee and 2 gallons of gas. The gas gauge was exactly where I got it. I tried to call to reverse the fees and nobody returned my call.Christopher R.

original place I rented for Pickup was booth street rental. I was to pick up sat at 9:30 am. When I arrived, she told me I was at the wrong place. arrived at paradise and man said he had no rental but managed to rent me a truck . turned in truck at 12:30 and only used truck for 3hours and 8 miles. no one to talk to for refuindEDWARD DANIEL R.

We reserved this truck at a Medford location. While there was no issue in picking up the truck at this time given, we were very upset at having to drive to GP to get it and not being able to receive it at the time I requested. This set us back a whole day.WILLIAM B.

Our pick up was scheduled for 9:00am, but was changed by UHaul twice, and we weren't able to pick up the truck until 12:15pm. When we did get it, the smell of marijuana inside the truck was overwhelming. We had to let it sit open for hours to try and air it out, setting back our ability to load it even more.Peter H.

You could not improve upon it. I wish that both employees I dealt with worked at my company. Because the trailer I was supposed to have was late returning my pick-up was delayed a few hours. (no problem for me). I found out that because it apparently was not going to be back in time still, the gentleman drove 30 miles in his personal truck to pick one up at another location and bring it back so it would be there. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST. They were very nice and obviously take their association with U-Haul very seriously. I am amazed. They deserve recognition in some way. The after hours check in experience was horrible. You should have told me you were going to call my emergency contact and she had to answer for me to get my uhaul. She was right beside me and didn't answer the unrecognized number. My dolly and cart were not there and I had to move without one. The truck had super low gear sound and not as nice as other trunks I have used.Robin K.

VERY frustrated with the traffic control department. We made the reservations at a different location and received NO notification that traffic had changed the location of pickup. I appreciate that Paradise location gave us a discount on mileage. They were able to see in the notes that there wasnt any notification to us of the change. I was frustrated by the lack of communication as well as loosing time for our move. We had people waiting on us as well as the added mileage to get to the farther location.Jessica J.
