Uhaul knows that they are the only option for people who want to move themselves, and as such, they treat their customers with no respect. This is the third time that I have rented from them in the past two months, and it is the third time that they have changed my reservation and have had me chase the truck that I needed for the move. If you can get in touch with customer service, they make you feel like your are bothering them instead of helping you. They know that you need them more than they need you and they will let you know ow this. My recommendation to anyone needing a truck is to try everyone else first and only use Uhaul as your last resort. I hope that I never have to rent from them again.

Greg EThe clerk behind the counter, spoke no English. I needed to take pictures of the mileage and the gas level of the truck and text it to somebody else. The text didn't go through. And then I was charged the additional funds on the back end. I will not be using U-Haul again in the future.
michael cWhen I picked the truck up it was dirty. The check engine light came on about 1/4 of the way through our move.
Tonjia CThe cashier did not know how to check the truck in. It took 3-days for someone to finally get it checked it in. There was no communication to UHaul about that, I received a call a 2-days after dropping it off from UHaul asking if I was going to return the truck! I messaged in 2-different evenings prior to as I was concerned it hadn't been checked in. Locations need to be trained on the processes and make sure they communicate to the company.
Douglas GOnce the app started working correctly I was able to check in and use the truck but that was an hour and a half later. Everything about the truck was great and the people that helped me with the app were also great. The app needs work
Ron PEasy, friendly drop off location. This is a convenience gas station store and they were SUPER kind. Perk, they are open until 9pm so we were able to drop off the truck after work. Great for people working and need a better window for pick up or drop off. Would for sure recommend them again!
Gina MDid not have the equipment I reserved. wanted to send me to another location that did not open for another 30 minutes. Were not pleasant about helping me, they thought I should pick up without help,. but I received no notification that it was a 24/7 pick up only. They did not know how to resolve my issues without getting on the phone with someone else and still did not provide the rental equipment I paid for!!!
Clifton FI ordered pads which were not provided, but I was still charged for them. This was the first time I used the online pickup from Uhaul - the person on staff at Owl Town knew nothing about the process, nor did Uhaul make the pickup process clear during the reservation process.
Raymond RThis was ok, but this drop off location also changed on us causing us to have to drive more miles than I originally choose (about ten extra miles). Then the person there didn't know how to do anything with check in. The Internet connection was bad, so it took nearly half an hour to check out on the website. Overall, this U-Haul experience was the worst customer service I've had in a long time. And that's saying something nowdays.

BARBARA Wuhaul corporate messed up reservation. said they fixed did not. returned truck 1 hour trying to fix your corporate error. U was told it would be and I received a balance due that I'm now disputing. I WANT A FULL REFUND
Von VTruck cab was filthy and smelled of manure. None of the equipment i reserved was available so we ended up not taking the truck at all. Oh and online checkin was near impossible w nearly no cell signal. The rep was sweet and helpful. I think the amount I was charged is ridiculous. I realize cancelled onsite should have a penalty but not nearly $80 for a $40 dollar rental.

billy bFirst of all, U-Haul advertises a "guaranteed reservation." My original reservation proved that to be wrong!! The lady who handled the U-Haul reservations was already gone and the lady who was there had no clue. So I had to go all the way home just to get up and go all the way back the next morning. I go through all of this hassle just to get a piece of crap, loud, dirty truck - didn't even have a rear view mirror.
Michael GWe drove the UHaul to Ohio. We ran into a winter storm. Apparently the windshield washer fluid was filled with water as the lines froze and we could not clean the road salt from the windshield. Had to stop 5 times to clean the windshield. It created a very dangerous situation!
Thomas AIn the past I have used rentals going one way. This time it was for around town the retail place told me to look the truck over and I did and took pictures just in case.. After I was driving for a few minutes I looked down at the gas gage an saw it was between half and a quarter tank. So when I called the retail place I asked them was it suppose to be full and they told me no just bring it back with the same amount in it which is fine. It might be a good idea to have the retail place add when looking over the truck to include the gas tank reading before they start out unless the retail place already has that documented when it last came in. WENDY SI've over the years rented many uhaul products with poor results..This truck was great.Drove straight.No issues keeping up with trafic..The staff was very nice.

EDGAR MStaff were very helpful and professional with the return process. They were thorough in making sure the big truck was in good working condition for whoever would rent it going forward. I would definitely rent through them for any future needs.

BRENDA BNo issues other than I would have liked to have seen a sign on where to check the vehicle in with. It turned out it was the staff behind the counter of the convenience store. I was originally thinking it was a back office. Staff was very helpful and the restaurant has great bbq pork.
Michael VThe drop off location charged us a 2 day fee. Another $160 on top of the $470+ we already paid. Now getting the runaround about getting our money back. Yet no one can say why we were even charged. Worst experience with uhaul ever.

JOAN RNot let customers wait to finish transaction. Clean the cab of the trucks.(COVID-19) Not charge a customer an extra day when they returned the truck under 24 hours.
Nathan CIt took 45 minutes in the store for me to pick up the truck, which I had reserved in advance. I was the only person renting a truck in the store, there is no reason it should take that long. After all that time, the store had to call me later because they ran the transaction incorrectly and had to get my card number again. When the location closed the ticket, they over charged me both on the daily rate and the mileage rate. When I called them, they didn't do anything to fix the overcharge.
John CI put enough gas in truck to go past 3/4 tank, at return Station. But got charged for gas not being filled. Don't understand why. I made it s point to top off.
