Ottawa self storage has always been a great place to do business with. Courteous staff, very helpful! Knows how to take care of customers
TIM SThey closed the store the day we needed to pick up our truck. Luckily someone did eventually come in to help us, after numerous phone calls. However, they didn't have the number of pads we requested. It would have been VERY helpful to have cruise control on the truck, as we had to travel over 1600 miles.

Jessica SI ordered a 15 foot truck,the representative told me I would be notified a couple days before the move to confirm.I called them the day before the move and was informed they didn't have a 15,they would let me use a larger truck for same price. Okay that was fine,but really did not want or need such a large truck. My suggestion is that they do notify client more than one day if they are going switch sizes. On a positive note I messed up the time and they allowed my nephew to pick up the truck,so thank you for that.
PAT BWe were told by the owner that the office opened up at 7am. We got there at 8 ready to get started on a hot day but they were not there until 9 a.m. They also did not tell us that there was not a jack for the trailer. My husband is just 60 but we were glad to have the help of our son to take the loaded trailer off the truck. Good trailer . Nice and clean.
Timothy SAfter dropping the truck off we were asked to bring it to their permanent location approximately 4 miles away. That should not have been our job that should have been the job of the people receiving the track. We only did it because we are kind people.

MARK DRoll door was open and inside of box was dirty when I got the truck. It was not at the location that I signed up for and had tons of packing blankets I didn't want in it. I had to go an extra 40 miles because of it not being in the location I signed up for and I had to pay for that!

Mark BEnsure that the location has the trucks that are booked online, and clarify that the office location and vehicle locations are NOT the same.
Richard TI made the reservation in Findlay and was not happy that I had to drive to Ottawa to pick up. Then I had to drive 2 more miles to actually get the truck.
Linda YIt's a little tight with the larger trucks backing in from 224, but that's the only complaint.

Keith TIt wasn't the people this time, it was the fact I had to drive across town where there was no one to help me. It would be okay if there was a crank on these, but even for a man, they are difficult to get off the hitch. Had to call the police, thank goodness they were super about it.
Jane pLocation was closed so could not evaluate. It appeared very clean however.
jeff aI ordered an appliance dolly, all they had was a small regular dolly, they did not offer to refund the difference OR make it up to me in any way. The individual that help me just said "well, I only have what I have." It made moving out of a 2nd story apartment very difficult.
Katherine HThe equipment was clean, HOWEVER they did not have the moving blankets requested (booked the truck 9 days in advance and asked for 48, got 30). Also requested a Defiance location pick-up and had to drive 60 miles round trip the day before the truck had been requested for use to get the truck. The air conditioning in the truck had obviously not been checked as it was 80+ degrees outside and the truck had NO air conditioning.
