The personnel at the Orange drop off location were very helpful and friendly, answering all of my questions. The only improvement I could see was maybe better signage showing where to return the truck.

We had to go to this location because the location that we were told to go to that location refused to take the truck so we had to drive all over looking for some place I would take it.

I was double charged and over charged I just noticed.i called the location and was told to call you. The daily rate was 29.99 plus 12. For insurance I believe. I was given a smaller truck than ordered and not told resulting in returning the truck next morning couple hours late.there should be a note of this on file.The total miles were only 23 miles.Who do I call for refund?

Fantastic drop off location, parang and his team made this right and did everything they could to clean up after tidewater issues

Being as I was in a rush for both pick up and drop off I would've liked faster service (I get the impression they don't do this a lot, so finding info, doing an inspection, etc seemed to take longer), but the reality is they didn't do a bad job as I was just impatient to get to where I needed to be.

The gentleman that owns the uhaul company is a borderline crook. He refused to do the final inspection together and while he also operates a gas station he didn’t even tell me that i hadn’t filled up the gas tank enough and immediately jacked on extra charges. Rather than offering me the opportunity to go back and fill it up myself he immediately started charging extra at ridiculous gas prices, claiming he said that that’s how it’s worded in the contract. I’m not at all surprised though. He was clearly from Indian decent (or maybe Pakistani/Afghani and those people generally just love to rip other people off It’s also the worst example of customer service and customer centricity I’ve ever seen and that’s coming from a person who has worked on 3 contingents (Europe Asia and America) including having done multiple projects in India whos now part owner of a consumer products company Despite this being the closest uhaul location. I will avoid this one at all cost going forward and am way more apt to consider a company like enterprise going forward even if that means paying more

I ordered 2 dolly's but they weren't at the location when I arrived to pick up. Had to drive to another location and only 1 was available. Spent 1 hour looking for equipment. Very inconvenient.

The truck itself was really old and rickety. The "evaluation for damage" at the beginning was funny: The entire truck was a petina of damage. Lots of strange noises, engine rattle, unexplained bangs. A helper rode in the truck and thought we were on the verge of breaking down. The truck needs some serious help or to be put out to pasture.

Customer service agent was distracted with other things and failed to disclose the mileage restriction placed on my rental agreement. I was disappointed to learn (upon equipment return) my mileage limit was far less than needed to perform my move. Ended up costing me $110 more than budgeted.

When we called Uhaul number(google) they said I had to go all the way to Richmond to pick-up. I knew of this location and called them direct and they helped me out immediately! This location did great.

I reserved a 20 ft truck. I wasnt told till I arrived to pick it up that they didnt actually have one and the best they could do was a 15ft truck. No apologies, no offers for anything else. Just here is a 15ft truck... I was also over charged... I have never had so much of a frusterating experience with uhaul... I had to find other ways to get the rest of my stuff moved. And I'm mad I was charged twice for 1 dolly and twice for the truck rate.

The staff helped me out incredible. The online check in was easy but when I tried to check out lots of things went wrong. The staff helped me out great without any questions. Would definitely rent again from this location.

The night before it was due, we asked if we could return it to Orange Market and were told we had to return it to the place on our agreement. When we go there, we were told they were full and we had to return it to Orange Market, which we literally had just driven by! Very unhappy with UHaul, not with Orange Market especially as we paid for gas and mileage.

They were appalled that we had the experience that we did, and told us to report the two guys at the Virginia Beach location, who were rude, sarcastic and dishonest. The Chesterfield location was wonderful, but we’re still stuck in a bad situation with only about 3/4 of the stuff of our condo moved out. And we HAVE to be completely moved out by Wednesday.

I don’t know if it’s just the 26 foot trucks but they need to be inspected more often! I had two different trucks and i had problems with both!

We arrived on time, and it took forever to get our truck. The people were courteous, just not so competant. Then, the battery was dead on the truck. We had to wait through someone ELSE getting their truck before they took care of it. By this time, it was an hour and a half later, and they took that time off of the amount of time we had before we had to have the truck back. In addition, we had to leave the truck running the entire time because they said they battery still might cut off. We wasted and paid for that much more gas because of this. This is a totally unacceptable experience with Uhaul, and unless we get at least a partial refund we will not be using or recommend uhaul to others in the future. Feel free to contact me about this, because the people at Orange Market did not seem to care at all.

My reservation was for about 5 minutes from y house. It ended up 25 minutes away. This caused me to pay for extra mileage which I feel I should be refunded the difference between my original reservation location and the pick up location.
