The process of picking up a U-Haul truck via the mobile app should be a convenience. It is a nightmare. I was forced to go to this location from my original pick up location because of unavailability. The fact that I had to sit outside an industrial area lot for nearly ten minutes awaiting an "approval" from the mobile app was ridiculous. The instructions were not clear. When I called the original U-Haul location - I was put on hold and forgotten in which I called back from a different cell phone and was helped right away. In addition, because of my changed pick-up location I got lost getting back to my destination which resulted in my being charged additional mileage. Worst experience with U-Haul ever.

Location lacked signage. Truck was not clean.
Amanda KU-Haul personnel not present. Self-checkout was difficult and not at all user friendly. No supplies (mats) were available at this location, and I had to drive to another location to get the mats. Turns out I was apparently directed to this location (Ontario Truck) in error in the U-Haul text message. At least according to the service agent at the corporate store.. Personnel at the corporate store in Mansfield were able to sort things out and finally get me on the road more than an hour late.
TERRY LAllow enough miles to get to your location and then take the truck to where they want you to drop it off at. We had to pay 100 extra because they didn't give us miles to take truck to the location!!!

John HThe representative was very helpful not only in accepting accepting our drop off when he couldn't find the reservation, but also in confirming we didn't receive what we paid for. He was understanding and helpful in taking the time to clear up the issue.
John HI asked and paid for a furniture dolly, but was given the smaller dolly. Therefore everything had to be carried, and multiple items were over 100 lbs. It would be great if what I asked for and paid for had been in the truck.

Kristine TI did for in town pick up! Then I had to drive 15 miles away for them not to have a uhaul ready.. Then I had to drive to another location which was still 15 miles from my town. So I had to pay for extra 15 miles.. Returned it to and had 11 miles left and I had no reimbursement for the miles I did not use. Doesn't seem to be fair to me.. It's a lot of money to move, every little bit counts.. 10.00 is 10.00 that will buy some groceries.. or the extra money towards a bill..

Cathy SThis entire process of renting a U-Haul was a disaster from the beginning. We rented a U-Haul from online, then had to speak to two different people who were having technical issues. By the time we finally got the U-Haul scheduled, we had no idea where to even pick up the U-Haul and they had the time incorrect. On the day we went to pick up the U-Haul the truck was blocked in by another U-Haul nor did we know where the keys were. The online e-check in says it was completed on our end, but did not complete on U-Haul's end. I would not recommend this U-Haul company to anyone. We were told this U-Haul location was new but we went through many hoops to just rent a truck to move things for less than 4 hours.
