The workers need to understand what the customer wants I need a rental for two days but unlimited mileage so .I got it I though when I came to return the truck I was told I owe them $175. Are so more for the mileage something went wrong and I refuse to pay it was a misunderstanding between me and them and he told me don't worry about it pay the next day or whenever so I figured he was wrong that's why I refuse to pay for the mileage it was to be free mileage case closed.Myron G.

I rented a truck from here and didn't need it for 24hrs. I asked the guy if I could drop it off over night (instead of 3:30pm the next day) and he said it would be a $20 drop off fee. He was not going to be there, and told me I could leave the key inside of the truck with one of the doors unlocked. Why would you charge someone a $20 fee to bring your truck back earlier? I'm doing you a favor by returning it early, so you can make it available for someone else. I did not want to chance leaving the truck their overnight. So instead I had to be inconvenienced by having to find a place to park it over night, and then pick it up the next morning to then drop it off.Paul H.

My reservation was for 8 am. This location was not open and I was waiting for almost 30 minutes. I tried doing the 24/7 app checkin method in hopes that I could get it without needing a person there - however, I wouldn't have been able to even get a key. In addition, we ordered a furniture dolly and it did not end up being available.EMILY H.

Returning using web/app was horrendous. The web site could not get my location information despite turning location tracking on. Then I tied to use the app, and it would not list the location I rented form as one of the options. It appears that the app picks up only u-haul owned store, but not local centers. Luckily the store was open late at night and lady at the counter helped me check out. Get your tech figured out, it is 2023 (almost)Sathish M.

Staff was excellent and personable. My complaint is You need to add extra mileage. I don't believe it takes into account, driving the truck to the location to load it up, maybe stopping to get lunch. Or needing to take an alternate route to stop and get gasoline at a more reasonable location like costco gas which the closest one to my final destination made me have to take a longer route, which you will charge me a $1 a mile for each extra mile. For the price i paid to rent it 8 miles shouldn't cost me $8 more.Shane S.

I had made reservations at another location about a week prior and received conformation that my truck was reserved from 7am to 3pm. The morning of the reservation I was informed my hours had been changed from 5pm that same day until 5pm the following. I was a little hesitant at first, as this isn't your typical uhaul location, howeverâ€¦ Not even 15 minutes later I was able to get exactly what I ordered at this location without any problems. Not only was the service great and staff friendly, and communicated well, but I received a text letting me know they were running a little behind. My appointment was at 8:00 but they did not open until 8:30. When I arrived I showed them my phone to show I had completed everything online. The gentleman called someone and put me on the phone with them and they were saying there was no appointment scheduled. Finally I told her I did it online and then told me to pass the phone to the gentleman. He then gave me my keys. This took longer than expected I will not rent at this location againErika M.

Get your orders correct. I was rented a truck by a place that didn't even have the truck I ordered. Then I had to go to another location to get a truck. This cost me time and money and aggravation..not to mention I was late for my appointment and couldn't get back to the dump before it closed. Therefore forci g me to rent truck for additional 2 DAYS!! Very unorganized and unprofessional. I will never ever rent a U-Haul for the rest of my life. I tell this to EVERYONE I CAN. Terrible. Would rate it a 0/5 if I could. Was scheduled to pickup my truck from 860 S. Placentia Avenue. Went to this location and they sent me to 1860 W. Orangethorpe Ave. This setback my 2-hour truck rental by 30 minutes. This location was a dump. Terrible service. They forgot my blankets I ordered. And it was a scam because now I was an extra 12 miles round trip from my destination. This made my mileage increase which made my gas ($22.48) and rental more expensive than if I were to pickup from the Placentia Avenue location. I will never use your services again. U-hall is trash. Wish I could get my money back from this terrible service. Complete waste of my time and money ($49.14).Lionel S.

This location representative made customer clean the truck (cargo van in my case). I had to cleaned the van because i didn't take a picture before i drove off (it was clean enough for me when i checked the van). She made me to sweep off a few little debris inside the van which were there already. I think it's her tactic so she doesn't have to clean; if customers don't take pictures then it becomes customers responsibility to clean.Intae K.
I'm giving 4 stars for this location because the staff was great. However, I would give 1 star for U-Haul as a company. I've rented 2 Uhauls in the last few weeks totaling around 3k. The first one didn't show up so we had to drive 2 hours each way to pick up another trailer. The second truck we rented was 2-3 hours late. On top of that, they wanted us to drop off the truck early. They really need to get a handle on their rentals.Kearston N.

When I returned the rental about 9:30 pm, the person at the store said she couldn't handle the return and that I had to do so online which I wasn't made to do previously and I couldn't find the link which actually appeared on my phone messages only after she finally did check me out and the van bcuz she wanted to leave. I rented my truck for 24 hours , I returned it before the 24 hours never got a receipt and my paperwork was processed after the 24 hour period was over and I was charged for another day of renting fee and insurance. This seems like a scam. I called the place back and all I got in response was ok I'll tell supervisor. I've written them an email and no response. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable.
