Maybe offer to do a verification in advance of pick up - we waited about 15 minutes for someone to call my emergency contact to verify me. Otherwise, a super easy process and the van was clean and in great condition.Krystal B.
We arrived to get our truck and the equipment we requested was not there. (dolly and blankets) The office of the location was closed so nobody could help us. I called and requested assistance on the chat but nobody could help and I kept being transfered to different departments. I had to return to the place later to get the equipment and I only got 5 blankets instead of the 12 that I was charged for. Very dissapointed with the assisntance I was given. N/A I was treated like I was family. Both times I met with representatives from the company they were friendly and very helpful. I resent when I have no expectation from the reservation process that there will be no customer representative there. I understand that Sunday at 8:00 AM is not a great time to have a live person at the site, but I believe that you should make it clear on your site that the customer will become the service representative for U-Haul. Having to give the same information again that I gave on line, the wait for the "alternative" person to be notified to vouch of my existence, the taking of multiple pictures of the vehicle and myself so that you I do the work of your representative, made the experience frustrating. Of course, returning the vehicle and going through the same process, or if I didn't do your job, then being charged for you to do it later, just seemed very contra client central.William C.

The ramp on the truck was difficult to put in place, and I had to call the roadside, but I was able to fix and lock the back door. I lost about two hours of moving time, but the owner agreed not to bill me for the extended hours. Customer service was excellent and patient with me.Lesa B.

I was totally unfamiliar with Omega Self Storage/U-Haul truck rental before this experience. Scott, at this location, was extremely friendly and very helpful as far as recommending the size truck I should rent, the estimated gas mileage/usage and also told me I'd be able to use my own EZ-PASS for all tolls on my route. Everything worked out perfectly and I am so grateful for his input. I will highly recommend this U-Haul/ Self Storage location to family members and fbarbara H.

The self check in process on a sunday was a horror. They have lock boxes and a key drop - however the location owner left the key in his public actual mailbox - the 1-800 uhaul folks were at a loss trying to produce a key code for me until they got hold of him and figured out the key was in his postal mailbox on the property - very confusing and we lost at least an hour on the day trying to figure this out.Roy A.

There's supposed to be a code to obtain the key. There was no code. Had to spend over an hour on hold to retrieve location of the key. THEY PUT IT IN A MAILBOX WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION! That's extremely frustrating!!!! Get your shit together!Manthan M.

You can send clear and easily readable explanations of how to pick up a U-haul truck using a phone. This was not sent to me ever, and when I called the service line, I was on hold for 15 minutes, before a service person told me she could not address my needs, followed by an addition 40 minutes. Do this if you want to have other customers; I am not likely to be one again.David J.

Too many hidden charges ..billing is incorrect . When I spoke customer representative they have said that my charges will $19.95 and after going to omega storage they said that minimum charges will be $33 and no respect to customer . Also I drove 10 miles they charged for 14 milesARAVINDU C.

Ordered moving blankets with rental, no blankets were provided. My pickup was scheduled for 8 am, the business does not open until 9 AM. I recommend you set a pick up time within business hours so you can talk to someone if this happens to you.Gabriella T.

Unfortunately, the U-Haul app stopped working while I was trying to scan my driver's license, and it also failed upon return when I tried to submit a photo of the mileage. Fortunately, the gentleman working at the front desk was very friendly & capable and able to handle the check-out & check-in process without any issues.Andrew W.
When someone orders a furniture dolly, moving mats they expect to receive them. These tools are essential to safely and effectively completing a move or products to storage. Because these items were essential to me and Uhaul charged me for these items. I believe there should be some compensation for damages furniture and extra effort that would have not been, had I obtained the proper equipment from Uhaul.Peter R.
