I am pasting below the email I responded to an additional gas charge. Hi, I am not sure why I am being charged extra for the gas. I filled it up to the level that my contract indicated, based on the dashboard visual, which is not as detailed as you have it here. In addition this was my worst experience using a Uhaul. First, I had to drive to North Bend to pick up the truck 30 miles away, instead of the Uhaul location that was .5 miles away from my residency. I called the day before pick up to ensure that I would be able to pick it up, I show up to pick it up and the office was closed and I did not receive any messages, I couldn't pick it up. During time I spent waiting in the parking lot I search through my emails to see what other details and couldn't find a full itinerary of the rental. I only received an email notifying me that the pick-up location had changed. I was planning to leave my car there so I could pick it up when I returned the truck. When I visited the uhaul webpage, I noticed my drop-off location was in Renton, I called the Uhaul phone number and they couldn't guarantee I would be able to return the Uhaul to that location(North Bend). So I went and picked up my wife (another hour drive). Drove another 30 minutes, picked up the truck burned about one third of the gas to get to my original residence, it took me longer to get there because now there is traffic. Your communications with your customers has to be better. On my way back I was looking for a digital copy of the contract I signed and I didn't have one. I used the link that was texted to me and the link no longer worked. In the middle of this (Saturday morning) I talked to someone at Uhaul that was not able to help me out, and they reimbursed me $56ish. Which is low for the over 3 hours it to took me to get the truck and the extra gas I had to use to get the truck to my residency. Because of the inconvenient location and lack of effective communication I drove 120 extra miles in my car to get the truck . I wanted to let it go, but then I receive this extra charge without a breakdown of what EZ Fuel even means... is that one gallon, two gallons, just another fee? Now I have to spend time writing you this email. This experience has been very frustrating. I am wondering if we can get this extra bill removed, and if I can get an additional reimbursement for this very frustrating experience. I appreciate your time.

Pero lo que no me gusto es que me alaron 2 asta tres personas que si ya abia trado la straila entiendo que una persona me able pero 3 no tengo tiempo para nomas estar atendiendo a yamadas tengo muchas mas cosas mas inportantes que aser y yamadome 3 veses en un dia es mucho usted que qre si algen le yama 3 veses y quiere saber lo Mismo que el primero le yamo Las mismas preguntas quieren saber Las tres personas una yamada esta bien pero 3 yamadas no chingen ponganse se acuerdo desde la primer yamada yo qreo que tiene que aber mas cumunicasion entre ustedes como compania grade que es tiene que aber mas comunicasion el Mes Paso rente uno y lo Mismo Paso 3 personas me ablaron yo me fastidie que tres personas me ablen para saber lo mismo en el Mismo dia uno trabaja y no tiene tiempo para nomas estar atendiedo yamadas

On pick up, the truck I reserved (20') was not at the facility, they did have a 15' and gave me a credit, but they were aware and could have called to give me a heads up before I arrived. When trying to deliver the truck, I arrived at 10am and the facility was not open, they advertised that they would open at 9. One gentlemen had been waiting in the parking lot since 9. We called the number but weren't able to get a hold of anyone, I understand that things happen and the owners have a young child, I hope everything is ok. I was glad U-Haul has online turn-in.

1. Provide gloves at no-cost. Let the customer keep them afterward and even possibly brand them orange with UHaul written all over them (like Mechanix gloves). I'd wear them again. 2. And a YouTube video on operation, not a 7 page PDF file. If not already do so... 3. Biggest issue I had has the tow dolly wasn't where I requested the pickup to be. It was at another location, well outside my route of travel, adding expense, time, and gas. UHaul should know where its equipment is before solidifying the reservation and provide a discount if past a certain distance away. 4. How do you not have military discounts? It's unheard of these days and honestly disheartening. If you do have them, please inform your locations.

I took me 1 1/2 hours to rent a trailer because your computer system is a piece of garbage. The employee complained constantly as she was kick out of the system time and time again. You should be embarrassed that you are so far behind in technology. Especially since nothing can be rented manually.

Seriously Cassie at Ole Cedar Mill went out of her way to make our experience quick and easy and she made sure everything was perfect. THANK YOU Cassie! You should train people on customer service cos you rock! The whole experience went smooth even after ya'll called us to see if we could change our reservation. ZERO complaints about customer service, prompt response, ease of use. THANK YOU U-Haul for making a stressful move so easy. Super appreciative!

The person who was helping me was busy most of the time with her baby as she was trying to help me and payed more attention to her baby than me.

The rental had bad breaks, engine almost failed twice going down hill, dash light only worked on part of the dash making night driving hazardous and the fuel indicator didn't work so I put way too much gas in it. Horrible rental.

The truck was muddy inside the cab and in the box, needless to say the dealer who checked the vehicle in before I picked it up did not do their job and insist that the previous driver clean the car or charge them and then have it cleaned! I had to accept the vehicle as is because I was on a deadline. So, today when I dropped it off for my return it was mopped out and very clean throughout, where is my compensation?

Right wheel of cargo trailer was near bald. Also U-Haul Corporate unilaterally changed pick up location twice. The third location was 35 miles out of the way and 35 miles back. Second change happen 30 minutes prior to our reserved pick up time. Sort it out, U-Haul.

The rep was very nice and helpful. BUTm one big problem- my car was hooked to the car trailer wrong. The straps were not put on the tires correctly. Half way through my trip, I noticed one strap was completely off one tire and the other strap was loose. Roadside assistance redid the whole thing, and redid the chains as well. Training is needed . This could have been a very serious issue. I'd also suggest a bit more of a walkthrough for the uhaul etc.

Everything went wrong from the very first moment. Costs per mile are ridiculous, the time I was told they would open was wrong, it opened 30 minutes after I was told I could pick up my U-Haul, and then it took an additional 40 minutes to get set up and finalize everything. The entire process from start to finish took well over an hour and caused me to be in a rush and late for the rest of the day. I was told I would get a 50 dollar credit, which is a joke considering the total time wasted, and then when I checked my U-Haul in, the credit was then told to us that it would actually be a check in the mail. Nothing went as it should have, and I do not appreciate being told something and having it changed after the fact. I have used U-Haul many many times, however after my past 2 experiences with U-Haul I am going to be a lot more tempted to start looking for other options.

This location was great it was her first time ever doing a rental and U-Haul actually made more mistakes than she did at that location I'm not sure why I'm doing a survey on that location because Uhaul completely messed everything up and overcharged Me by over $100 and I will be calling and complaining
