We are tax exempt in Oklahoma because my husband is a 100% disabled veteran. I as the full time caregiver have full authority to use that number for our household needs. This benefit was denied to us, unless Jon opened the U-Haul account in his name and would be driving, which he is not able to do. Your policy that because his name is on the exemption card therefore he is the only beneficiary is disrespectful of his service. I was upset.Katrina W.
This is a mom and pops operation and not as well-equipped and stuffed with your typical UHaul trucks, boxes, and all that moving stuff like the other bigger franchises. I've read other negative comments but it's a matter of understanding and relating to the owners. I am Asian so I can relate and have no issues. The hubby was really helpful, and the wife was the one who helped me hitched my transporter and load up my truck, since the hubby was out on a doctor's appointment. Very helpful and courteous. The truck I was given was fairly new and was clean. I wouldn't mind going to this place again to help a small business owner, if I get a chance. But alas, I have moved back to my home state.DON A.

Did the rental online which was fine. The agent at the location did not speak the entire time of getting the equipment, answered questions with a grunt. Did not explain my refund, just was not very customer service oriented. Will go to another location next timeWilliam S.

My truck was blocked in. I was supposed to do the 24/7 checkin. Thank goodness people were there. They changed my entire order/truck to the one that was blocking my original. When it could simply be moved. The truck they gave me was absolutely filthy and not ready. They offered to clean. I told them no and to move the truck and let me have the original one I had ordered and planned to pick up. Also the only reason I picked this place is because they had all the equipment. Well, they didn't have a dolly but gave me another appliance dolly so that worked out.Chase H.

The employees were disrespectful and one of them tried to accuse me of hitting something and won't show the video of me doing it he told me to leave instead. The other employee tried to say that I left a big piece of wood and a step stool on the truck when the items wasn't mine I even took a picture of the inside of the truck before I started loading the truck.Naelyn H.

The vehicle performed its function but the driver compartment failed miserably. The sun visor was broken. The driver's set cover was totally broken and cracking. While it was fixed with a seat cover it was moving & shifting & had to be readjusted. The windshield columns were both in poor shape. And the compartment hadn't been vacuumed & was extremely dirtyDoug G.

The gentleman could barely speak English and we had to wait an hour because he said computers were down nationwide but I called Wichita where we were headed and that gentleman could take care of us if we rented one way from him .Teresa F.

The only problem I had is that the truck was not available after booking it a week in advance. The customer did not return it so I couldn't get one and the other locations in okc didn't have nor one truck. I had to do with a van. Which I had to take three tripsRaven S.

The trailer I reserved wasn't there. I was told it was at the S.Sooner location. I went there. They had it but it was needing repair they said. They checked and said the SE 29th St in Midwest City location had one. I immediately went there (5 minute drive) and they said it was already rented. They said the Mini Mart (where I originally reserved a trailer) now had one. I went back there and was able to rent it. It was a mess! I heard there is a reservation guarantee. I ordered a dolly with the van. The manager of the quick mart/ u-haul stated that the van does not come with a dolly or a ramp. I was not charged for the dolly; however why advertise something that does not come equipped with van? I have never known a u-haul to not have a ramp. On top of that I requested $19.95 truck but end up paying close to $75. It went from $20 to $40 to $70 and I was on only off by a couple of miles according to the odometer. It felt like I was cheated.Erique A.

The truck had issues. Whenever I would take my foot off the gas, the truck seem to stall, and the brakes didn't seem in good condition.Michelle W.
What i know for a fact, is that when a deposit is paid in cash. The place where the truck being returned to should as well have the cash on hand for a deposit refund. Depending on how long I have to wait for the cash I paid to get back to , will also let me know if I will use or refer uhaul.Bobbie Allen A.
