My overall gripe has nothing to do with this location .they were fabulous and honestly saved the day . My gripe is with the customer service. I received from corporate. I had set my reservation for 730 am to 1230 pm at another store. I chose 730 so that we could do most of the move before it got too hot out. When I first arrived clicked the link provided via text and it said that it had expired. Fair enough as I had received that texts a few days prior. I decide to try logging into my account and check in there. I log in and it says I have no reservations. Even though they sent me my reservation number via text. I immediately call their cs line. I don't speak to a single person for at least 30 minutes. When I finally get someone they explain that they were gonna send me to the verification team to help me stating there was an issue with the system. I get put on hold for what had to be another 20 or so minutes before the next guy picks up. This guy explains to me that there has been a system error that is preventing me from checking in but thag if I wait an hour it should be fixed. He also briefly mentions that the previous user of the truck hasn't returned it yet. I'm not happy at tbis point but I recognize that there isnt much this guy could do and even if there was I didn't get the vibe that he would be willing to do it so I let it go. I go home and start prepping everything so thag as soon as I get the truck I can go. After about an hour I try the link again and it still doesn't work. I figure maybe I need a new link so I chat in to get another one. Here I find out I've been moved to a new location and a new pick up time which is at 10 am. At this point it's already 930 and it's starting to get hot but I'm just trying to be grateful I have a truck at all. The chat representative sends me a new check in link and I head to the new location. I had reserved a 10 foot truck but when I arrived the only thing I could see was a cargo van. I immediately called again. I was once again on hold for about 30 minutes before speaking to anyone. While waiting to speak to someone I de ide to also chat in. Here I speak with Cynthia I belive was her name. Cynthia was the least helpful of all 6 of the reps I spoke with. She just tells me to call in and that she can't help me. She doesn't even try to look into the problem. Doesn't apologize for what I'm going through nothing. Then I finally get through on the phone. Here I speak with Tracy. Tracy was phenomenal. She did a fantastic job and gave me answers and an apology. I felt like finally someone was listening to me and helping me. She does let me know there isn't much she specifically can do for me but that she would make damn sure I got to someone who could and I appreciated her honesty. She apologized to me for how long I had been on the phone and listened to the entire story of what had happened so far She then apologized that she was going to have to transfer me to the local office here in Louisville she let me know that Louisville was having issues so I may be on hold for a bit but that help was on the way. Obviously I wasn't stoked about being on hold again but her honesty and being upfront with me took some of the sting out. I'm on hold for another 20 or so minutes. I'm on hold for so long the call system starts sending me to any other location on an effort to get me off to anyone. I got sent to Dayton Ohio to Nashville and finally landed in lousiville. There Robert finds me a Truck and saves the day. By this point though it's noon ish I was supposed to have the truck at 730 am and RETURN it at noon ish its blazing hot at this point when I had planned to move early in the day to avoid that very thing. Overall if you can use any other company to move do that. If you HAVE to use uhaul the Portland Ave location as they were very helpful and kind. Tracy, Robert, and this location were very kind and good at their jobs. They saved me from having a panic attack from all the stress of wondering if I would get a truck at all. Thank you Tracy. Thank you Robert and thank you Portland avenue uhaul location uhaul as a company, you can go fuck yourself.Ariana D.

Make similar equipment available in prime locations preferably in local area (42701) Previewed equipment two weeks out and still had to travel 45 miles to Louisville, KY to rent. Rental location was not in a highly desired area to visit. Appears your system heuristics steers to that location and tries to provide unacceptable alternative equipment for others. I was told to go to 1 location and when i got their i waa sent to. A difderant location that was 25 mins away.. Amd then i drop off next at. The location i was emailed to drop off at. A couple hours latter I got a call wanting to know when i was going to drop off the uhaul and i told them i had dropped off hours ago. And they said they didn't have it checked in. They ask. Where i dropped off at and i told them Wilma Rudolph Blvd and the lady said no u. Are to drop of in oak grove which. Is 30 mins away from. Me So once again they changed the location ..uhaul didn't know what the Hell they was doing that ..I. Rent from uhaul all the time but i wont so it again i will go somewhere elseCrystal J.

The access lot is extremely difficult to get out of. They are working to fix their primary gate but even that did not look like a fun time with my crew cab long bed and the trailer. Could definitely clean the place up a bit as well. The grass and weeds were over growing some of the equipment and car dollies.James H.

Perhaps you could provide easier software or better training for the local staff. One kind of fumbled through the screens getting me checked out and another kind of berated the first for doing it wrong which I thought was a little unnecessary. Also, although I understand the need to double check everything, it really felt like all the online prep work I did including the online check-in was wasted effort when I arrived and had to go through all the questions again. I would recommend giving companies the option to skip the online check in or make them honor it. I'm just trying to say I think the whole process could be a little more seamless especially since we're all supposedly taking coronavirus precautions.Carl T.

The window was open when I picked up the truck and it was raining so I was sitting in water. Other than that the truck was clean and maintained but did make a ridiculously loud chirping noise in the cabin when driving. Not sure what it was but it sounded like something in the dash must have been rubbing together as the truck moved or something but made the noise when the truck was going over 20 mph or soKevin B.
