This location needs more than 1 person working behind the counter. It took 45 mins to get to the front of the line because there was only 1 person making the drinks, making the food and doing the uhaul rentals. The man processing the uhaul rental did not know the process nor was able to adqeuately assist us. This location did not have the furniture covers as requested in the original order of the truck. The truck door seals need to be maintenanced.

Wallace SI booked a pick-up at 9:30 at a different location, but there was no truck available at 9:30 at that location. I was rebooked to 3303 3rd Ave NW. The window knob was missing so it's hard for me to roll the window.
Ruike NNot much space to park for returns. Attendant polite and efficient. Didn't step into operation. Just dropped off and left after sign off. Not recommending uhaul to anybody not a reflection of this location but the business.
Ian CI booked the vehicle online and declined insurance. I am fully insured through my own insurance Co. for operating non owned vehicles. But, in spite of declining the insurance, I was charged $16 for insurance which the UHaul agent refused to reverse. It was very disappointing. I will probably consider other companies to rent vehicle.

I would never recommend again U hall Customers Reps most of them were not very helpful just some agents were really professional (Amber ) I escalated my concern to a manager who was worse than the other reps , instead of helping me he putted & and added more pressure on me and didn't help me at all . and also he think that people are stupid to trust what he was saying that U hall doesn't have availability what is just insane and ridiculous !!!! because during my day I met hundreds of U hall trucks parked on many locations waiting to be rented . overall its a big disappointment coming from a big company like U HAULLLLLLL Kindly

Rajbir BI asked if the truck had cruise control and the answer was yes, and there was no cruise control. The truck odometer and speed was measured in mph and miles of which we haven't used that in canada for years and I could barely read the numbers and had trouble converting to kph and km. The repair engine light was on when I started the truck and was told it was due to a non oem part that was installed so it didn't register. The gas mileage for the truck was actually quite poor.
Douglas WDidn't have the appliance dollie as ordered, and gave a utility one instead, but struck off the cost which was appreciated.
Wesley TThe truck reserved 3 weeks ago was unavailable. We waisted an hour and did not get the truck and had to go to another place and take another one. I can only thank Anthony from Bow City storage who did try to help us out instead of his colleague who just sorried and did nothing. We waisted time, money and our mood and would not recommend this service again. Awful experience ever.

Isabel DThe vehicle was dirty exterior and interior. I cleaned the can and swept out the box. Trying to estimate fuel amounts to 7/8 is impossible. Agent was also busy with other things and not focussed on competing the contract. Requested equipment was not available on arrival. No furniture dollie. This charge was removed but having reserved 1 week prior I should have been noticed to make alternate arrangements
Jean RIt took almost 30 mins just to get the keys to the U-Haul truck. We also were the next in line once we entered the store. The employee that helped us at the counter was nice to us, but kept taking orders for coffee/food while they were helping us. For example, It took around 5-10 mins for them to check the driver's ID from the time they asked us for the ID, due to them taking and making coffee/orders in the middle of "helping" us. This was inconvenient, as we had a big day ahead of us moving, and we just wanted to get started. The furniture pads we ordered weren't in the truck we rented, they were in a different truck. We ordered 12, and when we counted there were 11. Overall, I'm not impressed with the pick-up experience at this location. They clearly prioritized non-U-Haul orders, which made the experience tedious and frustrating. I will make sure to go to a different location for my next U-Haul rental. On the plus side, there is a gas station with consistently lower price/L in the same lot.

Stephen HTank was at 1/4 tank so if it was a long trip, one would have to fill it up at the start and then leave more gas in than what was used OR difficult to fill after using it... It's pretty standard to always have a full tank. The vendor blames the owner. U Haul needs to step in an make this place always have a full tank. I'll never use this place again
STEPHEN WHonestly, they really don't have enough space to be a Uhaul dealer. They can only legally park 2 trucks. It's a cafe. Not really suited for a Uhaul dealer. While helping me, the attendant was also trying to serve Afternoon tea to customers.

Henry MThe truck was only half full of gas thereby making it difficult to refill. The truck was a gas guzzler. I only went 20 km but apparently but needed 12 L of gas!!! I was not given paper copies of the contract but only by email making it difficult to read any fine print and needing a smart phone.
STEPHEN WWorst U-Haul experience ever. I get to the store and have checked in online. What's the point of checking in online if the owner of the cafe is going to ask me everything anyways. The u haul is jammed in a tight alley way and I'm told I need to park it where I got it…. Ok. And he tells me I need to take a mileage picture after I'm done, no problemo. So I go and move my things and bring it back. Carefully parking the U-Haul into the right spot. I go into the store to wait in line. The line is 8 people long and there is only the one worker. The guy who owns it. I wait in like for over 20 minutes (at this point there is no one behind me) to only be told I need to use the app to check my U-Haul back in cause he's too busy to help me. Then I realize I have to take all the pictures. This is impossible as the U-Haul is flush into the spot and there is no way I'm doing that again. I took what I could and left. What a weird experience.
Alisha TThe staff was extremely rude almost to the point of being racist. I will do my best to stop anyone i know to use this uhaul facility. I have been using uhaul very regularly for over 10 years now, and this was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. It makes me think of alternatives for the future.

Siddhesh DI tried dropping off the truck at the location. The owner of the shop said he didn't see my drop off in the Uhaul app on his phone. So at first he would not accept receiving the truck. I had to call Uhaul Customer Service to try and rectify the problem. The Uhaul Customer service could see on my order that the drop off location as Nove Nine diner. The customer service agent had to tell the owner to call his Account Manager to rectify the issue. I have been running around through the Uhaul Customer Service phone line and no one was able to solve the situation. In the end the owner of the Nove Nine diner had to manually log into the Uhaul website on his laptop and create the drop off at his location. This is poor customer service on all fronts. 1. The pickup location on the order was incorrect. 2. The Uhaul app on the Nove Nine diner owner's phone was not working. 3. Uhaul Customer Service was not able to rectify the issue. Possible Solutions 1. Customer Service should not be transferring customers to other departments to rectify the problem. They should be trained to fix all issues. Also the agent should resolve the issue with the customer on the phone. 2. Do not use third party businesses for pickup and drop off locations. In the case of owner of Nove Nine was not properly trained to resolve the issue. It was only after an hour he found a way to create the drop off schedule for my Uhaul truck. Instead invest in actual Uhaul locations. Where customers can actually see and speak to an Uhaul employee to pickup and drop off the truck.

Karen DVendor was 20 minutes late in opening. Poor communication with us. We ordered a dolly and was not provided one. We were told Dollie's are given only if available. The man did not seem confident in the transaction, unsure where to find info on his computer. We were very frustrated with poor service.

Spoke to 7 reps, was given 2 wrong numbers, and spent a total of almost 2 hours on hold to get my $50. The reservation falling short put me behind by a whole week. The second U-Haul was in good condition and pickup/drop-off was easy
