The woman who processed my reservation at the location was attentive and helpful. She also went "the extra mile for me" and called U Haul when she found out I had to drive 15 miles each way in my car to pick up the vehicle, feeling that better customer service would have been to get the vehicle I needed closer to the location where I live. It took her extra time and effort to do so, and I really didn't expect such a proactive response from a manager who could have simply charged my card and sent me on my way. Thank you, and great job!

Cory VA lot to start with have someone to answer the phones during business hours.. second if you have an option for a phone make sure they all work like getting the code for the lockbox and also make sure the key fits in the drop off box.. very terrible experience sat in the parking lot after calling everyone I could for over an hour only to just drive up the road to another U-Haul and give the keys to them luckily they helped me.. worst experience ever waited to get the truck because of U-Haul trying to send me into a not opened place to pick up and drop off.. honestly not sure I’ll pick U-Haul again..

Mark GUhaul could add security dash cams that send video to cloud in case of emergency. Would be beneficial for company because they could help prove liability for your customer and your company. If it helps your customer prove they are not at fault you save them money. You also save yourself money as well in case your in proving fault of your drivers if there is ever a dispute. Was very difficult to rate. Had an awesome experience. Would definitely do again with a mobile pick up.

They blamed corporate and corporate blames them . Finally got back the one charge but not the other . Worst ever!! I am telling everyone . Something sketchy when your card shows a 10 higher charge than the invoice ..and yes I have the proff on my cell phone and paper . Nooone replaced the money either .
Diane LI did a sunday pickup while closed. The vehicle was fine, but my furniture and appliance dollies weren't in the truck, when I specifically called the day before to make sure they had them. I had to wait 20 minutes on the phone and drive another 30 minutes out of my way to get these items which were a must have for my move.

Donald BThe location was closed when I dropped off the truck. There was ample space to park and a dropbox. It appears the location did not properly check-in the truck, so it was initially thought I had not returned the truck. I received calls and emails about the matter although I returned the truck as agreed. The situation was resolved after much aggravation.
Joan BWe were told upon rental that they did not want the truck returned back to that location. We were charged a total of 179.50 which is what our quote said and then upon dropping off to another location were charged an additional 275 for "not returning ontime" I have a reservation that says I did. Uhaul is terrible. I would not rent anything from them again. How do you provide a detailed quote and completely disregard it? Customer Service is a joke.
jessica hPickup location closed at 4 pm. Returned the rental at 3.45 pm the same day but location was closed. I would consider this a bad business practice. Also key would not fit in drop box and both key and rental where in a bad location. I was not happy with this aspect of my purchase.

Rick Bcheck out the truck!!!!!!!!!!! On the way to Plattsburgh, NY had a blowout on the right inside duel. The CORD was showing on the entire tire.. No one saw that. The engine was a quart and a half low.

STEFANIE CWas scheduled to close at 7:00 pm, when I arrived at 6:00 pm there was no one around. I called and the voicemail said they were gone for the day. Website said 24 hour drop off with no designated area.
MARK Sthe women was so apologetic for the way u-haul treated me, especially considering the fact, i'm cleaning out my deceased mothers home in NJ and have no choice to use u-haul, as if it's not bad enough i had to bury her, but to go thru what u-haul did to me just reduced me to tears and she was wonderful to me while i stood there and cried.

MARK CTruck had broken glass on the floor in the cargo area. WHen I go to the loading location I had to return home to get a broom to clean out the truck before loading. Also there appears to be a leak in the roof front above the driver. The items packed in Moms attic in that corner were wet when unloaded.
Wayne DDispatch trucks with full tanks like rental car companies always send out rental cars with a full tank. It is much easier for a customer to just refill the tank completely before returning rather than picking up a truck with a bit less than half a tank and having to try and guess at how much fuel they will need for their trip to return with the same level. It is hard enough to find stations easy enough to maneuver a 14' truck into, you don't want to have to do it twice if you can help it.

Celaura ETheir personal hours do not match UHaul's hours, so even though I only had the vehicle for 3 days, I was charged for 4 days.
JANINE PYou could have newer trucks available- The truck that I rented had almost 200,000 miles on it and overheated several times. We had to call roadside assistance, and it took 2 hours for a mechanic to get out to where we were. It was very inconvenient, and I didn't get to use the truck for the amount of time that I wanted to.
RYAN ORight side mirror was cracked. Radio and AC did not work. The steering was off and you have to have the wheel turned inorder to go straight. The truck is in horrible condition and didn't seem dependable. I would not recommend this site to anyone.
