This place is great and no one really knows about it really good service and everything is like they say not like the other U-Haul location in Warrenton which all they do is lie to you I’ve been using Uhaul’s all my life and this is one of the best locations.

The truck was clean & great. The reps were nice & understanding when I had to extend my rental due to a family emergency. But do not double charge your customer. I still have 2 charges on my Credit Card for the rental of the truck. I do not understand why and have asked that it be corrected. The two amounts are for a substantial amount but different totals. One is correct & has the extra SmartMove charges removed as promised when I extended the rental. And the other total is for over $300.00. Please only charge your clients one rental charge. And if you do charge them twice, correct the error ASAP. Thank you .

Have been renting for weeks with same drop off. Was called by Uhaul as to where it is. They had not even checked it’s locale. Lady said the owner of the station will call me to verify It was there since the drop day. Was still charged for two extra days I did not use. Campbell

Location was "closed" before 4:30. Returning equipment was a little difficult. Would have been nice to have instructions on what to do at the location. Online it stated the contract was to be left in the "box" slong with keys or other things that needed to be returned, but couldn't find the box. Left the trailer in the lot and took pictures....that seemed to do the trick.

Reserved for Warrenton VA, text me 2 days before move to Marshall 20 miles away, went to pick up it was closed at 320 supposed to be open till 4, had to call 1-800 number, over an hour on the phone doing contracts and wanted scanned pic of dl, no cell service in the middle of a cow field, bad communication, truck was high mileage and shook, scratched up all over, had to take pics before I left so I would not be charged, very bad experience, will make sure everyone knows not to use this location.

A sign on route 709 to notify people of the entrance would be helpful. Theres a sign on the cross road that is very helpful but the turn in isnt necessarily the easiest to tell.

I was scheduled to pick up my truck in Haymarket at 8AM. I had someone stop by on Tuesday to make sure everything was in order and I called to double check on Thursday. Both times I was assured that everything was in order and that I would get an email with the access code the night before. (Obviously the people working at the Haymarket location do not understand how you system works.) When I arrived and followed the directions from your website I was told I had to wait until the store opened at 10AM, but the store had already told me they would be closed on Saturday for Mother's Day. I called your 1-800 and was put on hold for 25 minutes while I had to listen to a recording telling me how easy 24/7 pick up was. Eventually they transferred my reservation to Marshal (an additional 13 miles away). When I arrived there at 9Am I discovered they had made my new reservation for 9:45 and so I have to wait an additional 45 minutes to get my truck. Once again I was on hold for 20 minutes while trying to resolve this. When I finally got my keys it was for the truck parked in the back of trucks parked 3 deep. It took an additional 15 minutes to get the truck out. This location was also unmanned. As a result of all of this I was 2 hours behind schedule and had to pay for 30 additional miles making my bill nearly $40 more than my estimate. Returning the truck proved to be equally difficult as the app did not work and I had to wait until someone came into the store on Monday at 9:35 AM. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, but overall I had a very bad experience.

I reserved the trailer for a family member. The reservation required a credit card. I called the 800 number and was told my card was to hold it only … during pick up the appropriate card could be used. When we picked it up I was told that my credit card had already been used for the charges. Really?!?! Shouldn't you wait for the pick up before you charge the card????

I bought a 2" hitch when I secured on line but when the location was changed they did not have a 2" hitch, they didn't have any hitches. Luckily I had a 1"7/8 hitch that work until I could get the 2" ball.

Everything was great! I highly recommend this U-Haul location--amazingly friendly customer service, and the business owner provided in-person check in even though I got there after their regular hours because she happened to be there when I arrived to pick up the truck. If I need a U-Haul in the future, I would not hesitate to do business with this location again!

My phone representative, Kiwi Wright, was the BEST! This location is "unmanned" for the most part. She stayed on the phone with me at 7"00 A,M. on a rainy Saturday morning. I couldn't have done without her.

It was stated that the location closed at 1:00 and I got there at 12:50 and it was already closed. Annoying so I went ahead and checked in on my phone. I paid $10 for the dolly which would have been more helpful had the ramp been in the truck. So having to help my husband lift and unload a freezer as well as a wine cabinet was dangerous. I’ve always used U-Haul when moving anything but this experience was by far unsettling.

Uhaul moved my reservation to a different site an hour away. Showed up there only to have them say they didn't have the truck. Had to get a smaller truck with a trailer at two different locations. Made for an extremely stressful moving experience. If you make a reservation, there is no excuse for renting the equipment to a different customer, especially when I wasn't late for the reservation pick up.

I arrived in the snow to pick up my rental truck at 8:30 a.m. I had scheduled it for 8:00 a.m. and had trouble locating it. I had moving help movers scheduled to arrive at my home at 9:00 a.m. NO ONE was at the Uhaul place and I wandered around and found a man in an adjoining business who said the Uhaul staff person had not been there yet that morning. This man at the adjoining business drove into Marshall to talk to the owner of the Uhaul business. While he was gone another Uhaul customer arrived who had an 8:00 a.m. Uhaul reservation. I soon got a phone call from Uhaul franchise owner telling me that the truck in front of the store with the back door rolled up and snow inside was the truck for me and that the keys were under the mat!!!!! I, a 61-year-old woman, then attempted to close the back door. It was stuck. I could not get it down. My fellow customer tried and after a good bit of effort got the door to close. We surmised it was frozen open since snow was inside. I got in the truck, turned it on AND THERE WAS BETWEEN AN EIGHTH AND A QUARTER TANK OF GAS!!!!!!! I was incredulous and angry. My fellow Uhaul customer AND the man in the adjoining business witnessed this. I drove this truck home and felt that there was possibly a problem with the transmission as it did not seem to shift up properly. Nevertheless, I had movers who I had paid for minutes from my home and no one to discuss this with at the Uhaul lot so I drove home. After loading the truck the movers could not get the door to shut again. A closer investigation and 45 minutes effort revealed the track and rollers of the door all rusted. Now I had a full truck and movers I had paid for two hours for and a door that would not close. Eventually it closed with three people involved -- one pulling door, and two trying to push it correctly onto track. When we arrived at my new home with brand new carpet I realized when I moved a couple of pieces of furniture that my new carpet was stained a black color where the legs touched it presumably from dirt in the truck! I fully expect a complete refund which I will discuss with Uhaul next week once I have finished unpacking. DREADFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. I have used the Westfax Drive, Chantilly Uhaul Center multiple times in the past several years and have been fully satisfied each and every time. The Marshall franchise should probably be revoked. I would absolutely NEVER use them again and advise no one to use them.

the location was hard to find. The manager was great. The trailer however was in poor condition. It was left after hours and the manager said it was not in good enough condition she was not comfortable with the safety of it. The e brake would not release.

Tail lights on trailer needed repairs had to do it myself. Remote location where your agent is not located where the trailers and trucks are located, dealt with the guy totally by phone he didn't come to yard where he keeps trucks, sent a youngster to check me out. Gave my info like drivers livencse over the phone
