Location was closed on Saturday so it was just a truck and key drop off. Can't effectively rate drop off site
Nick LThe drop-off location was excellent, though we didn't interact with anyone this time as we used after-hours drop off, which was incredibly useful for us. The U-Haul app experience for returning, however, is unclear around whether to take photos while still inside the return 'dashboard' or to go to your camera app to take photos to add into the return session. The app was very slow around when you upload the odometer and fuel gauge photo, sitting with a spinning wheel icon and no indication of progress for about 2 minutes, I'd guess. When asked to upload photos of the truck condition, I swapped to my camera app to take the photos, and upon returning to the U-Haul app, the session had closed itself and said I had no current reservations, e.g. considered the truck returned with no condition photos. There was no obvious way for me to reopen the session or add photos to the session after it was 'closed.' The workaround is either to take truck condition photos before starting the return process, or to only work through the app, assuming clicking on the upload photo for truck condition will open the camera.

JONATHAN TI had a 8am pick up. Was never given the code to lock box for key. Called in advance to ensure everything was ready. I was told all good I would receive an email or text. I never did. Had to what till 9am when office opened. Your on line system sucks.
Jim MPut the tow carrier on the right way, if you are going to demand that we clean the u-haul or have to pay a service fee, then actually clean the u-haul. The u-haul truck I received had chunks of dirt and rocks along the floor, food and soda in the in cupholders and on the seats and a random needle stuffed into the roofing of the cabin that fell out while I was driving. Clean your freaking vehicles.

Joseph BI wish the gas tank was on full instead of 3/4 because I was charged gas and it was hard to figure out how to get back to 3/4 with the gauge.
Evamarie WThe team member at NP Storage was very nice and helpful. Did not seem to know that the rental was already paid for, seemed unfamiliar with the POS software. It would have been nice if the heavy snow and ice build up on windshield was cleared off. Took me quite a while to clear. Overall, no big problems, I appreciated the good service.

Nicholas KNot great service but not bad. The agent and paperwork stated the truck fuel tank was 7/8 full. It was not. The fuel tank was clearly only 3/4 full. I have picture to prove.
Paul GLady that was in the office came out an immediately greeted me and helped me with doing my return online. Made her aware of issues I had and she had said that it was a shame that they wouldn't have given me a cleaner better truck to travel the distance I had to go.

Michael MAddress is wrong. Same street but 2.5 miles away from where U-Haul app sends you. Very frustrating and wasted an hour trying to find it and on hold with U-Haul Custer service. Wasted gas, money, and time!
Michael EFirst of all, lady at this location modified contact without my aproval. Second of all, I told them about the problem with a truck ( huge problem with transmission) and she said she has another customer taking it in the morning. They care only about money, not a safety of the customers. I don't think those trucks are ever serviced. I'll stay away from that location

DONNA SMy expectation was that I would be able to pick up my rental with no assistance. I spent close to 40 minutes signing up to U Haul 24/7 and downloading the app. Upon arrival to pick the vehicle up the app said my my reservation had expired... Great news! I tried to call the number provided and Brian the regional manager did not answer. Plan B McDonald's and wait an hour. Plan C: Back to the Pocono rental location and had to deal with an associate that was not completely trained at her job (she was very nice). After a few calls an an hour later we were able to get the lock box open for the key... Please keep in mind, now I'm 2 hours behind my original schedule. At this point I'm thinking your 24/7 app and U Haul. com is not an effective method to rent vehicles. The truck was fine, but smelled like smoke or chewing tobacco (it was clean enough, but smelled bad). The drop off was OK, but I'm pretty sure that dropping it off without having to take pictures would have been quicker with an associate. Bluf: I hope you appreciate the feedback, but renting a vehicle from your company cost me stress and time. I'd actually like to he compensated. I'm still upset about my negative experience.
