Cindy at front desk very helpful and pleasant. The van was a new Ford, which I prefer over the GM models because the Fords have a better layout for a female driver, I.e. I can see over the steering wheel.Maryann B.

The parking brake was faulty. When I was driving I would hit a bump and the parking brake light on the dash would light up and the warning horn would begin to blow. It would not stop until I would pull over and shut off the truck and then restart the truck. As I was mostly driving on a highway I had to endure this load high pitched horn until the next rest area as I was uncomfortable pulling over on a busy highway. I had that horn ringing for over 200 miles which made for a very uncomfortable drive. I had a headache all night and still had ringing in my ears most of the following day. Not the level of service I have come to expect as a long term Rentor from Uhaul.Mark C.

It took over an hour and 20 minutes to get my van although I had preregistered. Another agent on the phone gave my truck with pads, etc. to another customer, blocking Cindy who, on her vacation day, was trying to help me get in. Cindy is wonderful but I don't think much of the system for getting a van when the office isn't open. I spent a good deal of time at home trying to work it out, then went to the office for about 20 minutes (also a 15 minute drive each way). I thought I was all set and would have been if the other agent had not overridden us. All told I spent about 4 hours on this system. How do you expect people to rent from you?!?Ellen P.

We had to travel over one hour away from our location to pick up this rental truck. It was out of the way and cost us two hours of loading and travel time. It also cost us more in gasoline to pick this up so far out of the way. Nothing wrong with the location other than it was too far away from us.EDWARDJ R.

Over all length of vehicle not listed on web site was needed for use when booking ferry reservation.IAN I.
I wish I was warned to start the return process on the website BEFORE returning the key in the overnight box. Plus the websit should allow you to upload a picture. When I returned the van, I locked the van and returned the key and then started the process on the website. As a result I could not take pictures it requested because I could no longer get in the van. I had taken a picture of the mileage and fuel before locked the door and returned the key but the website only gave me an option to take a picture but not upload one already taken. Next time I'll know what to do correctly but I wish it instructed me more clearly when I selected the 24/7 share program not to return the key first starting the return process so I did it correctly. The door latch would not close, I saw the men in the garage and asked if they could help meâ€¦one man offered his assistance and one of the other guys said that that guy didn't work there. But he nor the 3rd gentleman offered to help. They went to go get the female. She was busy opening up for the day. The men were doing nothing. The woman came and easily rectified the issue. The woman was very nice. It was obvious that she was more capable and smarter than the unhelpful menâ€¦.except for the guy who did not work there and had offered to help.ANNA H.

Location should not be eligible for mobile check in. There is no cell service. I was so frustrated and made me an hour late for my trip to pick up my daughter from college. I had to drive v5 miles down the road to get service and then had to chafe with someone to help me. Very hectic and stressful.Diana S.
