Your app needs work. You log on, then have to log on again to rent. Then, after you fill in questions, take pictures of yourself and your license, you have to wait to be approved. What is the sense of having my card on file and still having to wait. Redundant. I'll go live moving forward, less aggravating.

This is for UHaul corporate and NOT concerning the locations. I was charged additional mileage. The only reason i went over on mileage is because UHaul changed my drop off location. The woman assisting me at the drip off was not able to get your system to adjust for this. Fix that.

Tough place to pull-in and pull-out, but folks and service excellent. BTW, over the years I have used U-Haul over a dozen times and this was one of the friendliest treatments and efficient processes I have encountered.

Your online needs to be majorly improved .. you get a confirmation for a rental from a specific locatoon and then get callef the day before and told it is not at that location but at another location that is 40+ minutes away .. not a way to do business and then not clearly instructed on return rules and h that you need to use your mobile device to compleye transaction. Not happy and will start to look else where .. am a long time customer but cannot have the bait and switch at the last minute and do what I need to do effectively.

What I really didn't like was being threatened with a late return fee - after calling in to say I'd have the truck back after when I estimated, when on a daily rental, well within 24 hrs of the daily rental, and returning to a closed location. (I could have just put down my return time as 24 hrs later rather than estimating a return based on best case scenario). That left me furious and feeling like I'd never rent from u-haul again.

Drop the 7.00 charge for the handtruck...geez. Really? I would have brought mine but looked in and saw there was one there, didn't realize that I would have to pay extra for it or the blankets. Luckily we had tons of our own blankets.

so two issues with which they helped me with - the chain clips would not fit those that were on my hitch -- their mechanic figured out a safe way to do it. And I had a round electric reciver not a flat one - they heled me get an adapter through local auto parts store -- that said I would have expected those to be in stock for purchase.

My first time ever having to rent a U-Haul and found the experience very pleasant!

This Millerton location was wonderful. They were patient, thorough, and explained everything that I needed to know to be confident in driving a truck with a trailer. However this was not my first pick up location U-Haul scheduled. U-Haul callEd the day before my move and told me the equipment was not available as scheduled. I called the route nine in Poughkeepsie location, the originally scheduled pick up location and spoke with Marchello who was extremely condescending when I was attempting to work out the logistics he yelled at me and said, “let me finish”! He was rude and offered no assistance or suggestions whatsoever. He acted as if I moved every day, I hooked up a trailer hitch every day and made it quite clear that I was basically on my own. I was terrified and still didn't know what or if I could do this. It wasn't until I actually went to the Millerton location that I was put at ease. My suggestion for the manager of the Poughkeepsie route nine location, Marcello, would be that he is not allowed to speak with prospective customers until he is sent back to training, for not only sensitivity but customer experience. Based on my customer experience with the Poughkeepsie route nine location, I would never use or refer U-Haul in my life! Thank goodness for the locations like Millerton. Unaware this was just the beginning of my bad experience, my livelihood (my desk), was totally destroyed by Swifty Movers in Poughkeepsie who I hired through U-Haul, movinghelp.com. As a result of bringing this to their attention they are now blaming me and the help that I hired to help with my move, a foreman. They are taking no responsibility whatsoever and now my desk is totally trashed and I work from home. I moved from New York to Michigan because I am going to be a grandma again. This move was horrendous, unprofessional he handled by both U-Haul on route nine and moving help.com (Swifty Movers). In the past I have always used U-Haul for my moving needs, as a result of this experience I would not use U-Haul again. I am however going to look into a position with U-Haul for a customer experience training manager. From the first voice they hear from customer service to claims a customer centric experience Is paramount to any business, especially moving which can be highly emotional and challenging, at best.

The location was fine, there was a candy wrapper in the cupholder which made me worry that the whole thing had not been cleaned. But my real problem was with the Uhaul remote pick-up-- nothing to do with Millerton location. The process was terrible-- extremely arduous, took forty five minutes when it should have taken five. You need a better system.

Vehicle was clean inside but vehicle seemed very beat up for only 157,000 miles. Loud rattle, engine smoked bad up hills, rear tires bald, drive shaft shook and steering wheel was on crooked/not centered. Sides of vehicle were pretty beat up too

Really frustrating and challenging to process the pick up of the truck due to lack of cellular and wifi access. There was no guest wifi available. It took an 1 1/2 hours back and forth on the phone with a rep to get it done even though it had all been set up beforehand.

At 6 pm the night before we were moving I was emailed that my trailer pick up was changed from a location five minutes away to one an hour away. Needless to say, it made my moving day even more chaotic. As my reservation was made more than two months prior, I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone on a schedule. I was very disappointed in the service.

I have rented many trailers and trucks over the years at the Northeast Muffler location, and I am very satisfied. Except...when I'm informed by the UHaul site that I have to pick up 30 or 40 miles away. Please don't let that happen. Ever.
