William Neadlesit is better to give customers idea about vehicles' gas consumption rate, like how many litres per 100 miles. It will be very helpful to fill-in gas in right volume before return the vehicles.
zhou jianhongWhen I spoke to the attendant to say that the gas was not at the quarter tank mark and was below the eighth mark, the person said it was a quarter by the record and that was that. I had to fill in gas soon after because the light went on. After finishing, I put in gas to what was originally in the van when I got it - an eighth of a tank. When I received the bill, the paper said the original tank was an a quarter - which it was not. The final tank was an eighth, which was what I received the van at. I was charged the fuel to reach a quarter tank and then a fuel service charge. This was not fair customer service by the attendant who refused to verify that the tank was not at the stipulated quarter tank mark. I am very disappointed by the service. The van was great, but NOT the CUSTOMER SERVICE at Niharika Grocery & Convenience.

Steve AllenIt was a poor experience overall, I usually would not give a poor review however in this case I feel inclined to because I reached out to customer service since we were given a truck with no gas - to the point where the gas light came on BEFORE we left the parking lot and we were told to “return the truck with the same amount of gas it came with”. We filled the truck up with a quarter tank since we weren’t going far. We used it for less than half of the time we expected to use it and returned it very early. We were SHOCKED and disappointed to see a $30+ charge for returning it with less than a quarter of a tank of gas!! I sent an email to follow up and as of this review, I gave them ample time to follow up with me to rectify the situation. So displeased and will never return. If I had known, I would have filled up more or would have told them to give us a truck with more than fumes! So disappointed, will never recommend.

Fred Radnotithe only item is that the truck smell like the previous user smoke inside the truck and there was no way the smell went away so it was a bit of disappointment . But we were warned before by the owner of the u-haul location.

J-Robert TheriaultThe clerk did not ask me if I wanted the insurance and automatically added it to my bill…My insurance company covers me for renting cars, so when I got home it was an additional $16, which I was not expecting…so my bill was higher than I expected. I guess I should have told him but all other rentals I have done have asked me. I had the truck less than an hour so the insurance doubled what I thought I would be paying….he should have asked me …other than that I had a good experience….
JOHNKEITH STUARTI was charged $61 when i only rented the uhaul for 20 hours and was supposed to be a total of $30 including the insurance we purchased. Extremely disappointed in this and have to now contact uhaul and the store owner and figure out why i was charged so much.
Taylor SluggYou need multiple lock boxes at this location. I booked for 8:00 AM pick up using truck share, but couldn't access it because someone else had a 6:45 AM pick up. I had the truck booked til 2 because I estimated that's how long my move would take. When I got the truck at 10:00, it set me back by 2 hours. The employee made certain that I knew that the truck had to be back by 2:00 PM because it was booked by someone else. So I lost 2 hours of moving time because U Haul isn't prepared for multiple bookings outside of business hours. Otherwise, the employee was very professional and kind. Just need a second lock box

GERRY WELSHAgain unhappy with uhauls mode of operation. They were unable to give me a itemized list of expenses and confirm what the charge to my credit card would be. Unprofessional way of business. At this point I will never use uhaul again. Nor would I recommend it to any acquaintance of mine.

Anita RayeGot accused of smoking weed (from an odour of weed that was coming from outside NOT ANY PROOF of this happening!) in the uhaul … this ABSOLUTELY didn’t happen . Charged a CLEANING fee for something I didn’t do. Insane. I offered to call the cops to smell the vehicle. The employee then stormed off. Scammers! You need to PROVE something before accusing . I can’t believe this experience.

BARRY DAVISI appreciate the convenience of a pickup and drop off location in Bowmanville, close to home. Truck needs new wiper blades and top up windshield washer fluid.
BARRY DAVISI’m not sure who screwed up but I was overcharged. I’ve submitted a report to u haul and haven’t received a response. As far as the location and the vehicle, all went well. However if they are responsible for adding a coverage a specifically denied when I booked, then my rating of them is much lower.
LAMBERT BARRI cannot think of anything that needs to improve. Service was top notch. The young gal at Nahirika knows her stuff, is very organized and accommodating. Thank you uhaul for making our move go smoothly.

What I like about this location is the straightforward transaction and accommodation of requests. They are swift to respond and wouldn’t hesitate to help with extensions or changes whenever it’s possible.

KENNETHA ALLINVery easy transaction to book and Drop off, only frustration was the wiper blades didn't work half way to my destination and it was snowing. Got to my destination with much stress and scared to shut off with fear I would be stranded and my wipers started working when I put in park. Next day I started the truck to return and wipers worked perfect in park and while driving. Hopefully the truck gets checked over for electrical issues before the next person runs into the same problem. Service and process of getting the truck was very easy and stress free
