On the truck the parking break light was lit even though the break wasn't on. The moving pads and and hand truck were in the way and I didn't use them

You have to go past the house and back down a hill to get to the office. Just a little confusing for a first time visit. Otherwise the people were friendly and helpful!

However, at the register is +.89 per mile (did 32 miles), +fill up , + taxes. Amount finally paid was around $64. I wouldn't mind a few dollars on top but triple the advertising price leaves a bitter taste when you pay...

robert brownMy truck did not have a USB port or anything else for me to plug in my phone. Considering I was doing an after hours pickup & dropoff necessitating the use of my phone, and had a 2.5 hour drive each way, that's a lot to ask. I think I was at 3% when I was dropping off and that's only because I knew enough of the drive that I could turn off the GPS for certain stretches. I also didn't like the fact that I was given only half a tank and had to return it with half a tank. I had a long way to go into the wilderness without many gas stations there, so had to fill it before leaving and then try to fill it back to half without knowing how big the tank is. Having it returned full would be so much easier and smoother.

Stephen ActonThe only issue was that they expect the key to be returned to the lock box, but the return instructions don't include that number. After working all day I had only a vague idea of the code, so I handed it in at the office instead.

Ryan PrentissThey charge a $25 fee for bringing the truck back after they close. This seems really in contrast to UHaul's 24/7 policy for being able to rent vehicles. It is not may fault they were not open when I was returning the truck, so should not have the $25 fee. Also, I was charged $29.95 for the truck instead of the $19.95 advertised rate.
William LibbyThe woman at the front desk was as nasty and rude as they come. When I called the 800 number to book my uhaul the woman I spoke to on the phone told me I could pick up the truck after 930- I showed up at 10:06am and when I walked in the door I explained that I was there to pick up the truck I rented- she said your an hour and a half late… no hi, no nothing.. she didn’t even know my name at that point.. then I got a lecture about if I rent a uhaul again to make sure I’m on time because I’ll lose my truck, I didn’t know it was an appt, That wasn’t explained to me. She then kept repeating herself about me being 45 minutes late.. I not be returning! I would not recommend. If your going to use a local uhaul use the Brentwood, NH location- the woman that runs it is amazing! Super helpful too! & friendly.

Forrest MitchellI don’t know what happened to the days when the people you were renting from walked all around the truck with you, went over all the features, all the dents & dings? No one went over the mileage limit. Just told me to return it with the same amount of gas. Good luck! Locations for pick-up/drop off are getting limited so you have to drive 20-30 mins out of the way to pick-up/drop off which adds to your mileage. Other than that, no issues with the truck.

CRIS BLACKSTONEThis was the worst U-Haul rental experience I've ever had. The pickup using the app went fine but the return process was a nightmare. The app refused to upload a picture of the odometer and fuel gauge which prevented me from being able to turn in the truck on time. I had to call customer service which took an hour to have a call returned. This isn't the locations fault. The quality of the app needs to be improved. Very frustrating.
