The guy at the counter was on his phone the whole time. Laughing and joking in another language. I couldn’t tell if he was talking to me or not? The site did not have the protective drop clothes that I ordered… annoying Also, the truck had check engine light on when I started the vehicle and it stayed on entire rental.

I was under the impression that it was an online pickup only and when the online site was not working it was very confusing as to how I was going to be able to pick up the truck. Luckily the gas station attendant was able to process the order, but that was not known to me prior to the pickup.

I had a very bad experience at this location. I was treated extremely bad. The cashier was very rude stated that I was not as important as the other customers. Also he refused to show me where my truck was and stated it outside go find it. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Windows very dirty and the van in general needed a good cleaning in n out but it did drive nice for a cargo van.I would return again if they need arises ! Thank You !!!

This is the fourth time in a row I rented a U- Haul truck and the gas gauge Has not worked. the last truck said i had 5/8 th of a tank full. luckly I decided to fill up instead of getting gas down I-95, there was only 4 Gallons in it. If this is the way you maitain your trucks I'll have to use someone else. RUSSELL bROSCH

This location should do vehicle inspections instead of handing out worth rentals. We received a rental with a broken mirrors, no working heat , and the alternate died on us causing us to jump start the car. I will be complaining because this feel like a rip off!!!

Told truck gas was Full at pickup when it was actually 1/8 below full. I completely filled on return and told clerk of this discrepancy. I drove 3 miles over my estimated mileage and thought it fair not to be charged for the 3 miles in return for the extra gas that I paid for. Final receipt shows adjusted mileage for all actual miles driven. Where is my compensation for the gas I paid for that was not I the truck to begin with.

They were told to not give me a certain truck because one of the tires was going flat. They gave me that truck so I had to worry about getting a flat tire the whole time

Felt a bit under pressure to answer the questions about being clean, is the condition of the vehicle as the photos showed, etc... So, of course, couldn't take a super close look. After using the vehicle all day, noticed things like a water bottle in the door, hair clip on the console, and small bits of trash in the bed. No major deal, but definitely different than how I felt on initial pickup. Also, the steering wheel is quite worn and felt pretty gross to drive for hours.

Location was great. My truck and plenty of other trucks in various sizes were available. I could not locate the kiosk, so I just went inside. No wait and the attendant was friendly and checked me out within a minute. Quick return as well. Attendant was helpful in finding an item I had left in the cab.

This is THE WORST U-haul location I've ever rented from. I made the reservation 6 weeks in advance. When I got there, they told me that the reservation had been transferred to a different location because the van I reserved had not been returned. NO APOLOGY, NO PRIOR NOTICE, NO OFFER OF AN ALTERNATIVE, NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRANSFER LOCATION. When I asked, they said they had a larger van (higher price) and tried to rent me a vehicle with both the engine and tire indicators on. (They said this was "normal.") It took ONE HOUR for them to process the rental. When I returned the vehicle, they REFUSED to tell me what charges I was billed for and insisted that I check my e-mail. Sure enough, I found excess charges when I got back home and checked the email receipt. I'm not going to try to get a refund of the $8.50. U-HAUL SHOULD NOT UNLEASH THIS TYPE OF ABUSE ON UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS by licensing independent franchises like the Newark Sunoco. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

The fuel in the truck was below half a tank when I rented it. The guy had marked it at half a tank. So I told him about it, and he said it is not a problem. So when I returned the truck at the same fuel level I got it at, I was charged for fuel cost. That i don’t this was fair.

These people were rude and nasty for no apparent reason and this was not where Ivwad suppose to drop off originally and you all act like you couldn’t help me even the customer service rep hung up me. I always used Uhaul never again. Piss poor customer service. I even asked to talk to a manager and was told I work from home no one here

Rental Drop Off was an ease compared to the pick up. Only issue was finding where to drop off the keys since you had to go inside instead of using a drop box outside.

I rented the truck for 9 hours and upon return to the same location, the attendant refused to provide me with a receipt. I asked for a receipt 3 times and he refused as he walked out to my truck return. I took photos of him and the truck but he still refused to provide a receipt. The next day when my invoice was emailed, I saw that he double-charged me for the rental because I picked it up at 8am and returned it at 5pm. I told the attendant that issued the truck to me that I would bring it back at 5pm and I did. Because my original reservation stated a return of 4pm, I was charged another day even though I brought the truck back at exactly the time I stated when picking it up. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with U-haul trying to get my money back. If the attendant had simply provided me with a receipt, I would have corrected it on site. I believe U-haul's policy of assigning a "rental period" is deceptive at best. I am sure most people do not put the time in to get their money back! The fact the attendant refused to provide a receipt makes me believer U-haul does this all the time and that is a horrible way to do business. I will never rent from an organization like this ever again.

This location treats its U-Haul business like an afterthought. Pickup took longer than needed due to the clerk constantly stopping to help other customers. They did not have the additional items like furniture pads that I reserved. A poor overall experience.

The U-Haul itself was great. I was very disappointed when I went to fill up the tank to 3/4 according to the chart provided to me. I filled it with a little bit less than the recommended amount, and when I turned the vehicle back on the fuel meter was Full. Felt like I got legally scammed after a hard day of moving. Godspeed to the person after me, enjoy that fuel.
