The New Castle location was great but I originally made my reservation for Rifle and then they moved it to Glenwood at Alpine Motors and they were pretty bad and then Glenwood moved me to Gypsum. While all of this was going on I called the New Castle uhaul directly and they were awesome! Confirmed that they would have a trailer for me. That’s the only Uhaul I will use in the future.

Turned vehicle in during off duty hours. Parking is very limited and the facility is old and cluttered but the town is very small and it is very convenient to have a UHAUL in town.

The Newcastle location was fine other than it was not the Rifle uhaul location. At the time of rental, the uhaul agent and I discussed the drop off. I responded that I'd be dropping it in Rifle CO. on Airport rd. where we always drop uhaul. He gave an affirmative response. I returned the transport trailer a day early to the Rifle uhaul location agent. I was then informed that I couldn't drop it there due to uhaul temporarily dropping their computer link for service with that location, and that the next nearest uhaul was up canyon in Newcastle, So that's another 28 miles on top of the 20 mile round trip to the original drop in Rifle. About 50 miles just to drop the thing. At least I wasn't pulling 2000 pounds of trailer on the return trip to home.... That is some messed up business operations IMHO.

Took 2 hours to get keys, pick up location staff didn’t know how to use a computer to match the online/real-time price quote, and STILL over charged me $75!!!! Engine was about explode/misfiring and TAXED me extra MPG because of it...... The Montrose drop off ladies were friendly as could be, but couldn’t save the damage that was done...... I STILL have to call back and get my refund. Not happy.

I was going to be 5 mins late after closing time because of traffic and called the mans cell # he gave me to see if they were there still so I could drop it off and not pay another 20 for next day. He said he wasn't there but that I could park it in this certain place and that it was just fine. THATS true customer service!! Thx again

Jim was a nice guy. Uhaul changed my pickup location the day before, Jim called and made sure it was ok and made special arrangements to meet me. I was NOT happy about uhaul corporate changing the location, they gave me an excuse that there were too many trucks at the location and needed some moved. When I got there the next days there were only 2 trucks in the size I requested.

I made a reservation about two weeks ago. I called Monday 6/11 to check on it. Only to find out it had been cancelled. My name is Steve, my son Andrew rented a trailer about 3 months ago. You called him about this reservation (he knew nothing about it so he cancelled it). By the time I call on Monday all the trucks in Avon were rented. I was assured you would get me a 20 truck in Avon. When the confirmation came to me it was for a 10:00 AM pickup in Gypsum (25 miles out of my way ...and back) on 6/12. I was running late and got a phone call about 10:30 telling me that the truck had broken down and that the only available truck was in New Castle (another 65 miles beyond Gypsum). This whole situation require me to continually update the helpers I had scheduled to load the truck. One big hassel caused by you U-Haul. I would only be happy and ever use U-Haul again if I get a full refund. Call me if you have any questions. Steve Falconer 815-519-7041
