I arrived to pick up the U-Haul. The wife called the husband because I needed to use two payment methods and she was unsure how to do that. He asked how I was only going 50 miles when I lived 20 miles from the shop. I explained I put extra days he then said usually when people put low miles they are stealing my U-Haul. Accusing me of going to do such thing. When I returned the U-Haul I was accused of damage I did not cause. He was rude and unprofessional the entire time. When I returned the U-Haul 5 days early he came outside upset I was there. But I had signed up to return the U-Haul early earlier in the day. He asked if I got my pictures after accusing me of scratches on the front or the truck. Then squirted off and didn't say anything else. But did inquire to make sure I got coverage. JANET BI reserved a 20' u-haul @ 6 weeks before my rental. I went to original u-haul that I made the reservation 3 days before my rental date and was told everything was as scheduled. Two days before my rental, I received a call from u-haul to inform me there were no 20' one-way rentals available. The local store never told me the three they had in stock were local only. The u-haul representative said there were no 20' one-way u-hauls in the area available, two days before my departure date. She offered me a 26' for the 20' price but would have to go to another location to pick it up. She also gave me a $ 50. inconvenience credit. Martin at Needful things was great. The 26' truck was clean and ready when I arrived. The trip was uneventful as was the turn-in. It is unsatisfactory to reserve a vehicle and two days before the move to be notified it is not available. The communication from the local u-haul and u-haul scheduling is unsatisfactory. Martin at Needful things saved my trip.

Bethany CThe location we rented from was great but our experience with uhaul corporate has been extremely unpleasant. We are requesting a call back immediately to resolve our issues. Please contact us promptly at 619-279-1881 to resolve the issues as we have made numerous attempts to contact you and we have been hung up on after waiting on hold for over 6 hours and have sent several emails and were rudely disconnected from your online chat service. We sat on the side of the road for 4 hours waiting for uhaul roadside service with no help and had to pay out of pocket for a tire replacement. This needs to be resolved.
